Jewish people are four times more likely to be attacked because of their religion than Muslims, according to figures compiled by the police. One in 400 Jews compared to one in 1,700 Muslims are likely to be victims of "faith hate" attacks every year. The figure is based on data collected over three months in police areas accounting for half the Muslim and Jewish populations of England and Wales. The crimes range from assault and verbal abuse to criminal damage at places of worship.
Note that British officials only started tracking this in order to chronicle Muslim victimhood, which is only natural given the public posture of Muslim groups in Britain:
Police forces started recording the religion of faith-hate crime victims only this year. They did so on the instruction of the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo), which wanted a clear picture of alleged community tensions around the country, following reports of Muslims being attacked after September 11 and the July 7 London bombings last year.However, the first findings, for July to September, obtained by The Sunday Telegraph under freedom of information legislation, show that it is Jews who are much more likely to be targeted because of their religion....
The CPS report revealed that not a single person accused of an anti-Semitic crime had been prosecuted on a charge of religiously aggravated offending. It said: "The police statistics include incidents where no defendant has been identified or where there is insufficient evidence for a prosecution."
A report by MPs in September said British Jews were more vulnerable to attack and abuse now than for a generation. Iain Duncan Smith, the former Tory leader, who sat on the All-Party Parliamentary Inquiry into Anti-Semitism, said it was "perverse" that not all police forces recorded anti-Semitic incidents and said that some forces "verge on the complacent". The Acpo directive was ignored by most forces, whose systems are not designed to record religion, though they routinely record ethnicity. Acpo said large organisations take time to adjust to new systems.
The Sunday Telegraph has obtained information on faith-hate crimes from the Metropolitan Police, Greater Manchester, South Wales and West Mercia forces. In London and Manchester, where Muslims outnumber Jews by four to one, anti-Semitic offences exceeded anti-Muslim offences (see table). The figures do not record the faith of the offenders.Rabbi Alex Chapper, 33, was the victim of a "faith-hate" crime in July last year. He was returning from a synagogue in Ilford, Essex, with three Jewish friends after conducting a service. All were wearing skull caps. Seven Asian teenagers followed them down the road shouting "Yehudi", which means Jew in Arabic. One of them shouted, "We are Pakistani, you are Jewish. We are going to kill you", before punching Rabbi Chapper in the face and hitting one of his friends over the head with a bottle.
"It was very frightening, we were all very shaken," said the rabbi. "I thought we were going to get seriously hurt but someone threatened to call the police and they ran off.
"We identified the youths and told the police but they were never prosecuted. They just did not seem interested. I feel very let down."

Mister Harvey DID NOT offer any sort of comment in regard to Muslims OWN violence against non-Muslims, which is ALSO ever increasing.

You read this, the real persecution of a people and then you get that crap from the EUMC, are these idiots even on the same planet.
Have they stopped going to the centre of their city as they get barged by gangs of Muslim youths or find themselves in a mini-riot in a metro station caused by these same youths.
I really hate these people from EUMC, I hope they meet one of the self proclaimed peace loving brothers as soon as possible.
And let's not forget that the average "attack" on Jews is probably more serious than the ones muslims report. Heck, if they can threaten to murder left, right and centre over a few cartoons, they probably get offended at the drop of a hat and claim that as a "racist islamophobic hate crime".

According the event brochure Livingstone envisions London as "a multicultural city...creating a new concept of world civilization that corresponds with a globalised world."
Dr. Pipes views the fault lines of the current conflict "not so much a clash of civilizations as a clash of civilizations v.s. barbarism." (2)
Livingstone, with his track record of ad hominem, anti-Semitic and physical attacks, appears to be engaging in a colossal act of hubris, hoping to best Dr. Pipes' dispassionate intellectualism with his own brand of ideologically bound, vocal excess.
This is not to diminish Livingstone's rhetorical skills which have been honed throughout his political career.
Last year Livingstone caused an uproar when he responded to a Jewish reporter's question by telling him "you are acting like a concentration camp guard..." He successfully turned back calls for him to resign in the wake of this outburst on the grounds that he made the remarks while leaving a private party.( 3)
In 2002 he was accused of pushing a man off a balcony and "manhandling" a pregnant woman, fleeing the scene before police arrived
According to the victim's account of the balcony toss, "Ken...was going ballistic...we were trying...to restrain him...the last memory I have is of Ken lunging toward me...I came to briefly in the ambulance..."
Despite accusations of having lied about the incident in a nine page statement he delivered before the 25 member London Assembly (a mayoral monitoring body) Livingstone ultimately emerged unscathed. (4)
In 2004 Livingstone stoked controversy when he invited radical Islamist cleric Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to London. A photograph shows him gazing adoringly at the sheik - who is known for issuing a fatwa sanctioning female suicide bombers and explaining why Muslims must wage jihad against the West. (5a)
When presented with the evidence of Al-Qaradawi's support of terrorism, Livingstone blasted the information "as coming from the Mossad." (5b)
Instead, the Mayor's office issued an official 50 page report portraying Al-Qaradawi as a moderate and defending his visit.(6)
Nothing demonstrates Red Ken's identification with radical Islam as well as his response to the London bombings which he blamed on the foreign policy of the UK, saving his outrage for the fact that the targets had been workers instead of "Prime Ministers and presidents." (7)
Livingstone's ability to blend support of Islamism into his own socialist ideology has earned him the adoration of his radical Muslim constituents. As evidence of this consider that at an "ask the Mayor" Q&A event last March an audience member who identified himself as a "member of the Central Mosque at Wembley" gushed:

His remarks were greeted by applause.
The January debate should therefore prove raucous if not informative. Dr. Pipe's, whose scholarship on the Middle East is internationally renown should prove a difficult opponent for Livingstone, whose style of argumentation is limited by rigid Marxist constructs and strewn with personal invective. All of which might suggest that considering the London Mayor's wake of excess, the event may simply descend into bad political theatre
Dr. Pipes should probably make sure that Livingstone is not in charge of choosing the moderator for the debate. Or of the security arrangements.

Not only are jews more likely to be victims of hate crimes than muslims. The real question is who is the most likely to be on the offending end of a hate crime when considering all religions. And the answer is the religion of peace islam.

I read that article and had to laugh, I went over to to the EUMC site and read some of the report on their earlier anti semitism report........
in most countries anti semitic acts were increasingly (as raz has mentioned) being carried out by muslims (though they wouldn't say the word "muslim").
What struck me was why don't they make a stab at identifying the attackers. Surely this would be the first thing to record to address the problem.

This is bad news, although not unexpected. Since anti-semitism is at the very heart of the Islamic 'religion', it is hardly a newsflash that Muslims are going to commit crimes against Jews.
Muslims have always played the 'victim' card here in the UK, and will continue to do so. How are they victims when Muslims asylum seekers get it all for free, and when employers BY LAW have to employ quotas of ethnic minorities which are misrepresentative of the actual percentages of different races in society. If anything they are at a distinct ADVANTAGE when it comes to employment because they scream racism and kick up a stink (and everyone believes them) if they don't pass the interview. Many of these people can barely speak English! Also, in our law, criticising the Koran would be considered an 'incitement to racial hatred' and therefore be a criminal offense. How DARE people say that Muslims in the UK are discriminated against when they get above and beyond what everybody else gets. Why should they get special treatment?
I only hope that sometime soon we get our shit together and stop Islam before it kills Europe completely.
