A militant Islamist group linked to al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the weekend bombing of a bus carrying foreign oil workers near Algiers, and warned of further attacks.The Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) claim came after the United States urged its citizens in Algeria to review their personal safety following the attack.
It was the first attack on Westerners in the North African country in many years.
"We reiterate our call to all Muslims in Algeria to keep away from the interests of the infidels to avoid harm ... once (these interests or individuals) are targeted," GSPC said in statement posted on the internet.

I pointed my theory earlier. Algeria had a two year stint as a seated member in the UN. Their term has expired and they are no longed seated in the UN.
Algeria has a history of violence and what we are seeing may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Yup-the whole world spins on a palestinian axis. It is a palestineocentric world we live in.
I once happened to chat with an immigrant from Algeria at a gas station. She told me that once when she was staying at a hotel they came to the reception only to find all employees lying side by side, all with their throats slit by Jihadis. I thought the Kur'an says that killing an innocent is like killing humanity. But then, murderer/thief/prophet said 'war is deciet'. So, which is it??? .. not that I am holding my breath for an answer.

And hey, where are all the moderate muslim groups to explain to these guys that they have islam all wrong; that islam is a religion of peace?
Isn't it funny, though, that the muslims in the US and Europe tell us that we have the wrong ideas about islam (that it is a violent supremacist ideology) and that we have to turn our thinking around so that they don't get mad at us...and get violent to prove they are peaceful.
