The US-based human rights group International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned a mob of 300 Muslims killed six Christians in early October while 15 others were left seriously wounded by the attack during a midnight worship service in Beshasha, a town located in the Agaro province in Ethiopia.On 14 October, a group of three hundred Muslims, carrying guns and knives approached the church where the Orthodox Christians were holding a midnight worship service. When the locked doors prevented the mob from entering the church they forced the congregation out of the church by pouring gasoline around the building.
The men of the church came out first and attempted to defend the men and women but because they had no real weapons in comparison to the guns and knives used against them they were attacked by the mob.
Fifteen individuals from the church suffered severe knife wounds and six people died as a result - two priests, two elderly women, and two men.
Two weeks later, the Ethiopian media announced that the police had arrested the leader of the massacre. But ICC warns that the violence against Christians continues to increase steadily despite the arrest.
Disgusting. Yet STILL no aid for Ethiopia. This will be repeated many times over when the crazies invade in full. Another ancient nation about to be destroyed by the supreme agent of destruction, thanks in part by the West.
I've been hoping that covert military aid advising has been going on for some time in Ethiopia.

The ridiculous squandering of men, money, materiel, in tarbaby Iraq, when the deployment of 5,000 men to the southern Sudan could do so much good, save so many lives, damage the Camp of Islam (not least by putting the oil wealth of the south in the hands of the non-Muslim southerners) is shown up yet again by the situation in that country, all the way down to Kenya (where Saudi-financed mosques are doing their predictable stuff).

Often when I hear about that evil book I think of a movie called "The Gods Must Be Crazy", where an African bushman stumbles across a bottle of Coke and all kinds of funny things ensue. We each have to answer that question to ourselves. Obviously, we all are concerned about Islam and its unbridled wickness, or we would not be cruising the JW site.
If I may rephrase the question: To whom should we express our outrage to? The media? Our local communities? To fellow JW posters?
The most important Person, I think, to express our outrage is the one true God, who superintends all of His creation. He sees the injustices, in fact, He providentially allows all the injustices.
But, He also HEARS the prayers of His peoples, whether they are on the front lines being martyred for His Name's sake or from us who reads of these atrocities. He is definitely the primary One that we should address our outrage.
But does prayer alone totally satisfy our responsibilities? That is a daunting and sobering question. Perhaps, there is more that we should do before we and our children will be forced to fight these devils ourselves in our own streets. Expressing our disgusts in this forum does help as a catharsis, but...

I have been told by a friend of mine that this sort of thing is happening on a daily basis in nearly every single African nation. The under-reported war going on in the Congo, for instance, I have been told is being waged and directed by Middle Easterners with sub-Saharan Africans carrying out much--but by no means all-- of the foot work. This conflict in the Congo has taken many more lives than even the ongoing, better-publicized jihad war in Sudan. By some estimates the loss of lives in the Congo by jihadists is well over four million.
The entire continent of Africa has become a battle zone against Islam, with Ethiopia one of many battle fronts. It is not a given at all that the United States (even with help from other allied nations) will be able to reverse the damage being done in Africa by the Middle Eastern jihadists.

There is no christian outrage because this news was never covered the us media. It was never on cnn, msnbc, fox, abc, cbs, etc.

We wont hear anything about such incidents on the BBC and the MSM till Ethiopian Christians retaliate. Then we will hear a great deal about the Muslim minority being attacked by fundamentalist Christians.
The Muslim world will be calling for action from the UN, and the US and its allies will rush to defend the Muslims. Soon there will be no Christians in that part of Ethiopia.
How tragic. This could have been resolved with just a cell-phone, and 100-200 well-armed infidel friends standing by. I am thinking of the micro-loan programs in the Third World, how a tiny investment can yield huge results.

VOM is providing aid for Semu Hailu and his family after he was imprisoned on November 5. Hailu, an elder of a Mennonite Church in Jimma was imprisoned after a group of Muslims accused him of insulting the Prophet Muhammad. Hailu had refused to move out of his house and sell his property to a nearby mosque. The Muslims responded by telling him that "kafirs" (infidels) should not live around mosques and threatened him repeatedly, demanding that he leave his property. When he refused, they eventually accused him of insulting Muhammad. During Hailu's November 9 court hearing, Muslims brought in false witnesses to testify against him. The court ordered him to be imprisoned for an unspecified period of time. In another incident, November 17, the house of Jemal Tasisa was burned by Muslims in the village of Tongo. By the mid-19th century Kashmir had passed from the control of the Durrani Empire (see Ahmad Shah Durrani) of Afghanistan, and four centuries of Muslim rule under the Mughals of Delhi and the Afghans, to the conquering Sikh armies. This process began in 1819, when 30,000 soldiers of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore attacked and annexed Kashmir as a part of Ranjit Singh's empire. Then, in 1846, the British rulers sold Kashmir to Maharaja Gulab Singh as part of the Treaty of Amritsar. Finally, during the latter part of the 19th century, Kashmir came to be ruled by the Dogras, a predominantly Hindu people in the area around Jammu, who were installed as rulers by the Sikhs.
The Treaty of Accession which shows Hari Singh's accession of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to IndiaFollowing the independence from British rule in 1947 and the partition of India and Pakistan, individual princely states in the subcontinent were given the choice of joining either of the two countries. The strategic value of Kashmir meant it was important for both countries to have it join their side. Pathan tribals covertly supported by the Pakistani army invaded Kashmir and overran the Kashmiri army. The Maharaja appealed to India for help, and India refused to send its army as long as Kashmir was not a part of the Indian Union. The Maharaja then signed the Instrument of accession to the Indian Union. Regular Indian forces then entered Kashmir and pushed back the invading forces. Prime Minister Nehru (himself of Kashmiri lineage) of India then took the situation to the United Nations Security Council and a ceasefire was implemented. The ceasefire line gave Pakistan control of about one-third of Kashmir and India the remaining.
The situation considered by the UN Security Council, which established a special commission was described in UNSC Resolution 39, passed on 20 January 1948. Subsequent to the recommendation of the commission, the Security Council ordered in its resolution #47, passed on 21 April 1948, that the accession of Kashmir to either India or Pakistan be determined in accordance with an internationally supervised plebiscite. In a string of subsequent resolutions, the Security Council noted that the UN supervised plebiscite required by resolution #47 had not been held. Notable resolutions reaffirming the requirement for the UN supervised plebiscite include UNSC resolution #80 of 14 March 1950, which established a ceasefire line after war between India and Pakistan, and UNSC resolution #122 of 24 January 1957, which condemned the establishment of a replacement legislative assembly in Kashmir.
The Government of India holds that the Maharaja signed a document of accession to India in 1948. Pakistan has disputed whether the Maharaja actually signed the accession treaty before Indian troops entered Kashmir. Furthermore, Pakistan claims the Indian government has never produced an original copy of this accession treaty and thus its validity and legality is disputed. However, India has produced the instrument of accession with an original copy image on its website. Alan Campbell-Johnson, the press attache to the Viceroy of India states that "The legality of the accession is beyond doubt." Stupid MAHARAJA!

So why is the Palestinian Christian community on the West Bank being decimated by the Hamas controlled PA while Abbas does nothing to stop it.
If "the jewish governement is the real terrorist here!" then why are more Bethlehem-born Palestinian Christians now living on the Israeli side of the green line than in Bethlehem. Why is the land in Ramallah, 100% owned by Christians a mere two generations ago, now 98% controlled by Muslims. It wasn't the Jews who transformed the beautiful and prosperous Christian cities of Ramallah and Bethlehem into Muslim ghettos (although the Israelis are culpable for not stopping it when they were in control), no! it is Muslim rapes, murders, and other violence that is forcing the Christians out.
The real Palestinians are those whose family roots go back to ancient times. These are almost exclusively Christians, Jews, and Samaritans. The vast majority of "Palestinian" Muslims have only been there for a few generations. Before the 1930s, the term "Palestinian" meant exclusively a Christian, Jew, or Samaritan native to the Holy Land. Local Muslims were called simply "Arabs" or "Turks" until the Mufti Faisal Husseini took Hitler's advice and expropriated the name "Palestinian" for himself.
