Muslims protest outside airlines headquarters over imams' removal

The latest in the US Airways/Imam Rage controversy from AP, with thanks to Twostellas:

...Yesterday, about 100 Muslims gathered in front of the airline's Tempe headquarters to appeal for equal treatment and justice.

The group protested the removal of six Islamic spiritual leaders aboard a flight from Minneapolis to Phoenix last week....

A spiritual leader of the Islamic Community Center of Tempe says the imams (IH'-mahms) are likely to file a discrimination lawsuit against U-S Airways next week.

A U-S Airways spokeswoman says the pilot "absolutely made the right call" in having the men removed from the flight after at least two people complained about their behavior.

These people are arrogant to the point that they think they’re scoring points. Keep it up guys. You might present your arguement more clearly if you set something on fire.

I’m all for their lawsuits. Sooner or later a good judge will set precedent by declaring portions of the Qu’ran incompatible with the Constitution. And then things will get interesting.

US Airway's and all right thinking American's, face these enemies of freedom down.

Let them file, let them have their day in court and when they are found to have lied and attempted to deceive then throw them out.

l do hope it goes to court and that US Airways does not settle out of court. how about the passengers who were upset at those immans, let them have a class action suit against the immans. let the tables turn on muslims for once!

Great! They want equal treatment and justice.
Considering the fact anyone else would of been arrested for disrupting a airliners flight and charged with a felony, I say arrest them, so justice can be served and their equal rights can be exercised!

A letter I just sent to homeland security!

My security is being threatened.

Why?

National threat advisory elevated to orange. Why?

Race neutrality, no profiling.

What! Come on.

Being muslim is not a race, its a religion. Muslims by the thousands
are threatening to destroy America
and we cant profile them? This is sheer lunacy.

Why is it that white Americans that cause a disturbance on a commercial jetliner are arrested and have to go to court but those six Imams are let go?

My safety is being compromised by political correctnes.

We are supposed to be at war. Dont you think it would be wise to
profile our enemy that is in our midst?

If green martians were here to destroy the world dont you think green martians would be profiled?
Well maybe in the rest of the world but not in America or France!

If those Imams sue the DHS needs to be in court to counter the charges. Why?

Because my security is being threatened and I'm offended that our Gov. is not properly profiling our enemy. Oh, I forgot, I'm not Muslim so its OK if I'm offended!

Yours truly, (until I get blown up)

ISLAMOGNOSIS, NOT ISLAMOPHOBIA -- ISLAMOGNOSTIC, NOT ISLAMOPHOBE!!

CAIR and all the other Islamic apologists lining up to sue U.S. Airways for their prudent but controversial action to remove the six imams have been screaming "Islamophobia"!!!

According to Webster's Dictionary, a phobia is "an irrational, excessive and persistent fear of some particular thing or situation." It appears to be the consensus of most posters on this website that "Islamophobia" is neither irrational nor excessive, but is indeed a rational, appropriate and potentially life-saving response to Islam and the kinds of provocations initiated by the six imams.

Therefore, to avoid the negative connotations which CAIR and other have managed to attach to the term Islamophobia, I would propose that we substitute the terms Islamognosis for Islamophobia, and Islamognostic for Islamophobe and Islamophobic. Again according to Webster's, the suffix -gnostic is "a combining form meaning knowledge, recognition." Thus, an Islamognostic is a person who knows what Islam is and recognizes the threat it presents to the non-Islamic world, and Islamognosis is the result of the pursuit of knowledge about the true nature of Islam.

The next someone throws the epithet "Islamophobe" at you, correct them and tell them that you are just an Islamognostic.

I'd love to hear one of those Imams stand before a Judge and claim that if a child was choking to death right infront of them that they would let them die if it happened during their prayers to the gracous merciful Allah .

We have Laws in canada that hold Citizens responsible for not taking any action when witnessing a crime or person in a medical emergency , how about Muslims taking the time to learn about islam and the prayer times so they don't have to book a Flight during that period and screw over all the non-Muslims forced to practise islam by-proxy .

Better yet , start up a website petition to boycott as much as possible the Airports that give Muslims a special dispensation to be afford the luxury of a Mosque to pray in before boarding a Plane.
Yes , a Mosque , because we all know that this is a foot in the door to laying claim to the room for Allah by being offended from the non-Muslims in the room or the passengers that may have touched pork earlier .
CAIR-Canada is trying the same scam at Universities , first the Muslim males allow themselves to be caught washing their feet in the mens room sinks wich is a health hazzard and forbidden , so to appease the law breakers that soil the sinks to foot germs the University overlooks praying in stairwells that is now a violation of the fire escape laws for blocking exits, next a small room is found to shut them up , but when the room is needed for something else which they were warned about, CAIR screams islamophobia and demands a Mosque on the campus so Muslims aren't forced outside in the winter.

The Human Rights Commission is brought in and we all know they will side with the Muslims rather than risk riots and death thread by these peaceful followers of islam.

I'm still looking for the radio archives for the Imam that told a different story up here in canada , he called the passengers and crew Liars and implied racism from ignorance , he also asserted they 6 of them were never asked politely to exit the plane, 3 times he was asked by the radio host to clear that up and each time he repeated it and said they were dragged off the plane with no warning and it was humiliating.
He also said they never spoke any other than english because one imam didn't know their other languages , then he claimed they never said Allah or spoke of Iraq .

Image that , 6 imams , one doesn't know arabic , and all 6 do their prayers but don't mention God or Allah.

I really wish the word " spiritual leader" was not used to describe these muslim men. What an insult to our intelligence !
There would not be a peep out of them if they were really spiritual. There would only be acceptance, and respect fot the human race, and the laws which are in place for the protection of us all.

Someone could use a hug right now, or at least a show of support. Here is the form to send a message to US Airways.

Good reminder Special Guest...

US Air;

Thank you for removing the Muslim Imams. They were using your airline and the passengers on your flight to advance some kind of agenda.

I am a frequent flyer and will make it a point to fly on US Air more often. Please stand strong for what is right-keeping your airline safe.

On Fox News last night the show Hannity and Combes did a feature on the Imams/US Air issue. Sean Hannity noted the circumstances besides their praying, such as making anti-US statements, moving to unassigned seats which blocked the exits, etc. He cited our own Robert Spencer.

It's good to hear this in the MSM!

...Yesterday, about 100 Muslims gathered in front of the airline's Tempe headquarters to appeal for equal treatment and justice.

If these people are so concerned about equal treatment and justice, why aren't they protesting in front of the Saudi Arabian embassy demanding equal treatment and justice for Christians and Jews. There are no churches in that country because it's against the law to build one. It's even against the law to holds a prayer service in a private home. Can anyone even emagine what would happen to a group of Christians who tried praying publicly in a Saudi airport? They'ed be lucky to be arrested before all those moderate Muslim passengers tore them to pieces for defiling the sacred land of the Prophet.
We'd better get it through our heads that to Muslims, the only ones entitled to fair and humane treatment in this world are Muslims. It is Allah's will. It is also Allah's will that all non-Muslims be treated like dirt.

Where's Bull Connor when you really need him?

I have been a reader of JW for a while and never commented. There are just so many things going on to be outraged about, I could comment on every one. Here's the first comment.

There is an article on fox online "6 Imams Kicked Off Plane Gave Crew Several Reasons to Be Suspicious" see http://www.foxnews.com/printer_friendly_story/0,3566,233958,00.html

I hope these points get as much or more coverage than the despicable imams and their supporters are getting.

StillFedUp has a good point above......

Those poor Muslims must be having financial trouble so what happens? They manufacture an "incident" in which they get to be victims (again). Then comes the inevitable junk lawsuit. They sure learn fast how to make a few bucks!

As Anne Coulter said- if we could only get the Muslims to boycott all airlines, then we could do away with airline security altogether- http://sacredscoop.com

One way Mel Gibson could redeem himself is by making a movie about the Islamic threat to the West. I have a feelling that he likes Muslims even less than Jews.

Of course the likes of Spielberg are too fucking politically correct to make such a movie. Mel at least has balls.

Islamisbad: oh they get it allright. You're missing the point. They're just fucking with us. One thing I learned during my stay in the ME is that Arabs have amazing chutzpa. They push and push and only stop when you slap them down.

To urbanIIredux

I disagree with your premise. I DO fear the islam, namely what it does to people. Your posted spiel on islamognosis/recognition seems to be a fancy way of simply saying:

"Call a spade a spade" (or "call a terorist a terrorist").

Yelling, "Allahu Akbar" in the boarding area of an airport is like yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater. It is not benign when it is a threat (as demonstrated by 19 Saudis on 9-11-01) in the context of an airport.

A spiritual leader of the Islamic Community Center of Tempe says the imams (IH'-mahms) are likely to file a discrimination lawsuit against U-S Airways next week.

A U-S Airways spokeswoman says the pilot "absolutely made the right call" in having the men removed from the flight
under FAA rules the pilot did exactly what the rules call for, and according to a police report you so called peacefull religious leaders apparently staged this event to try file and win discrimination lawsuit and set a precedent for Muslims to any they wantso let them protest is always water cannons

IF They are protesting, at least we know where they are, I hope someone is taking photographs and documents license tag number.

Koran mentions nothing about flying on airplaines, constructed by infidel dogs.
Mohammed didn't approve this evil zionist flying heresy.

Muslims must walk or rent a camel!
