New UN chief denounces Iran for denying Holocaust, threatening Israel

Could Ban Ki-moon conceivably be not a dhimmi? From Reuters:

UNITED NATIONS - Incoming United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told Iran on Thursday it was unacceptable to deny that the Holocaust took place or to call for Israel to be wiped off the map.

Ban was responding to a question asked at a news conference about Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who since coming to power in August last year has caused an outcry by terming the Holocaust a "myth" and calling Israel a "tumor" in the Middle East.

Ahmadinejad just ended a two-day international conference on the Holocaust that was dominated by speakers who questioned the extermination of 6 million Jews by the Nazis in World War Two.

"Denying historical facts especially on such an important subject as the Holocaust is just not acceptable," Ban said.

"Nor is it acceptable to call for the elimination of states or people," Ban said. "I would like to see this fundamental principle respected in both rhetoric and practice by all the members of the international community."

If Im right, then Moon is a South Korean. Koreans tend to be very Christian and extremely pro American and well generally sane and fun. :)

Good news from the UN - at last!
Hopefully this signals one and one very important of many needed corrections of UN policies. And hopefully S-G Ban Ki-moon will continue and expand this trend.

Who was the last guy????

lol Sarge youre kidding right? Forgetting Mr. Kofi are we?

He's got to get rid of Kofi Annan's most sinister apologist for Islam, Edward Mortimer. Mortimer was Chief Speechwriter, head of the U.N.'s Office of Communications, and according to Mortimer himself, as he swanned around the world, a "Senior Adviser" to Kofi Annan. He's also the author of a worthless book on Islam, and is most famous, among those who are old enough to remember, for his dispatches from Teheran as the Shah fell. The day that Khomeini returned to Iran from his French exile, Edward Mortimer, present head of the U.N.'s Office of Communications, wrote an article (for The Spectator or The Times, I forget which) in which he began his little report: "'This is quite the most glorious morning in the history of mankind,' to quote Charles James Fox." So the first day of what became the cruel and murderous and would-be genocidal Islamic Republic of Iran, signalled by the return of the Ayatollah Khomeini, whose denunciation of Infidels and demand for killing them was already long on record (though perhaps unknown to the likes of illegitimate Edward, Edward Mortimer), and whose recipes or rather etiquette-tips whom to serve that goat, that cow, that chicken with which, de son vivant, you have had sexual intercourse, enjoyed your orgasm, possibly asked the animal in question if it was good for him/her too, then slit its throat and cooked it -- ah, that too had escaped Edward Mortimer, as he proclaimed the arrival of Khomeini to be "quite the most glorious morning in the history of mankind."

There's a lot more one might find out about Edward Mortimer, Kofi Annan's Chief Speech Writer, director of the U.N.'s Office of Communications, and "Senior Advisor" to now- former U.N. Secretary Kofi Annan. One way to start is to google "Edward Mortimer" and "Jihad Watch" and "Posted by Hugh." Read all about it.

He should be driven out of town -- out of New York, out of London, out of everywhere in the Western world -- on a rail. Let him follow Kofi Annan back to Annan's supposed heart's desire, as he expressed it not a year ago - to return as a simplwe farmer in Ghana, far from the madding international crowd. A regular Jimmy Carter. Doing good. Let's see if Annan does that. And let's see if he can be persuaded to take Edward "quite the most glorious morning in the history of mankind" Mortimer with him. They deserve each other.

No not forgetting , just trying to!!!

could be finally be getting a UN General Secretary that will stand up to the air head and Arab nations infesting the UN his denunciation of Iran and its antics just might give us hope as the Arabs have managed on the last secretary watch to turn the UNinto a Israel bashing society all I can say is thank God he is gone

That boy reminds me of bj clinton ( i never had sex with that women or what is is)liars of a feather, how can such people get into power, are we that far gone!!!!!

Is that fresh air I smell? Koffing Anus is gone...thank God.

"Could Ban Ki-moon conceivably not be a dhimmi?"

Don't get your hopes up, folks. He's hardly likely to have risen through the ranks of the UN cesspit without being one, is he?

I wonder what Coffee Cup thinks of that? Yhe new guy's already putting him to shame and he hasn't even taken over yet.

This could be a new and better begining of the the much needed housecleaning that must start over at the UN. Also since this new leader is from South Korea and knowing that its most difficult neighbor, North Korea has been helping Iran, this new UN General could end up being a needed thorn on the side of Iran and NK.

Wow. The new guy at the UN is denouncing Oh-my-dinner-head? I feel safer already.

Carolyn 2,

Koffing anus? Now that was really funny!!!

Along the lines of Hugh's recommendations, Ban Ki-Moon could fire Morti(tian)mer, and replace him with John Bolton.

Just never thought I'd see such plain common sense out of the UN. Hope Annam, who is an infidel, gets hunted down by his countries Jihadis whenever he returns to Nigeria.

This Cartoon in the Weekend Australian says it all.

Brilliant

@Tushar Saxena:

Yeah Ban Ki-moon is a Christian.

It will be very interesting to observe Ban Ki-moon at the UN's helm. Given North Korea's cruel sacrifice of millions of North Korean lives, he may have a much lower level of tolerance for genocidal thugs than Kofi.

The world turns and sometimes it turns for the good.

Happy New Year.

i call him ack!madkneejob (to the mullahs)
