Students disrupt Ahmadinejad's speech

Iranian students staged a rare demonstration against President Mahmamoud Ahmadinejad on Monday, lighting a firecracker and burning the head of state's photograph as he spoke, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
Ahmadinejad tolerated the students, who called him a dictator, the agency reported.
"We have resisted dictatorship for many years - from before the 1979 Islamic Revolution - and nobody can bring back a dictatorship even in the name of freedom," the agency quoted the president as telling the students at Amir Kabir Technical University in Tehran.
The disturbances began when a group of students started chanting "Death to the dictator!" during the president's speech in a hall at the university.
Next the students held up a picture of the president, upside down, and set it alight, the agency reported. Finally, the students set off a firecracker.
Ahmadinejad kept his cool and finished his speech, the agency said.
There was no report of the authorities arresting any of the protesters.
The president has not always tolerated criticism. A few months ago his government banned a newspaper that had depicted him as a donkey in a cartoon.

A few facts you are blissfully unaware of:
1-)India has been repeatedly targeted by islamic-jihadist terrorists over the past twelve centuries. Yet India due in part to its vast human overpopulation, and weak economic conditions remains a center of global poverty. India, impoverished and overpopulated has little if any indigenous terrorism-related movements. Nearly all religious violence involving India is Islamic in origin and emanates from either locations outside India or transplanted Middle Eastern islamic sources (the Sikhs seem to contribute a very small amnount of terrorism, but it is really only a small 'blip' on the screen compared to what the mosques and madrassas in India turn out). This fact undermines your central assumption that Islamic terror is fueled by poverty--if it were, then why aren't poor people all over the world practicing terrorism?? No other impoverished societies rely on terrror tactics to the extent or degree that Muslims do despite the fact that there many other impoverished societies besides islamic and Indian ones. AND---if wealth disparities truly fuel terrorism why, then, do Islamic terrorists attack India which is hardly wealthier (and possibly, in fact, even poorer) than most Islamic states??
2-)Many Islamic terrorism ringleaders are extremely wealthy even by western standards; Ousamah bin Laden came from one of the wealthiest families in the world. Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri came from a family of priviledge and means yet he became an Islamic radical at an early age. Wealth does not seem to be much of a deterrent to islamic violence. Notice that few Muslims advocate NON VIOLENT means to solving economic problems (or any other types of problemes either).Muslims gravitate toward violence, even if they possess economic means--and they will use for purposes other than to end poverty.
3-)The Kuran on which the Islamic faith is derived divides the population of the world into two 'houses' (or halves would be more like it). They are the "House of al-lah" and the "house of war." Muslims are commanded by allah "fight the unbelievers til the last day." Which of course tells us that Muslims are COMMANDED to attack the inhabitants of the non-Islamic world. Terrorist attacks are part of the Islamic "religion" and have ideological origins. There is no guarantee that increased that increased standards of living for the Islamic masses will have ANY impact at all on the ideological component in Islamic terror, since it was never clear that economic impoverishment was the reason or even one of the reasons Muslims attack non-Muslims.
4-)Yasser Arafat reportedly had a net worth of over US $10 BILLION. He allowed his people to starve while he turned them into jihadist soldiers to attack Jews (and Christians)living in Israel and Lebanon. There is no reason to believe that other Islamic societies will fare any better by the enlarging of their economies--Islam's leaders are just as likely to intercept the increase of their nations' monies and continue to pressure their people into becomiong jihadist warriors. Indeed, by making Islamic nations wealtier it is very possible that the situation will get WORSE, as we saw with Saudi Arabia over the past half century: the Saudis used their petro-wealth not to raise the Arabs' standards of living but to accelerate the pace of jihad and jihad-indoctrinization of the Islamic masses. IF Saudi Arabia is even close to being representative of Islamic societies then it cannot be ruled out that the increase in economic wealth will be used to accelerate global jihad and not terminater it.

OK, fair enough, Dr. Younis does not understand, and/or did not express the causes of terrorism very well. It is also wise to be skeptical of anyone winning a Nobel (no balls) prize these days. Christ was an advocate of personal charity. Don't confuse that with communism. Communisn isn't even state charity. It is a state collective. There is no basis for charity in Marxism. Marxism is not about charity it is about a a division of capital according to usefulness to the state. No Christ-like ideals there.
Marxism eschews the profit notion as exploitation. According to Marx, the profit gained by the capitalist is the difference between the value of the product made by the worker and the actual wage that the worker receives. The capitalist mode of production therefore allows the bourgeoisie to exploit the proletariat, the worker, because the worker's labour power generates an added value greater than the worker's salary. In other words, if you hire a worker to make a shoe that you sell for $5 but pay the worker $3, you are not giving him a job, you are exploiting him to the tune of $2! Marx was a nutcase.
Without the capitalist to own the materials and machines to make the shoe, there would be no job and no wage. And no shoes. But Marxism doesn't care about that. He just doesn't want anybody making a profit from someone else's labor, never mind that the worker is profiting from the capitalist by using his capital to turn his elbow grease into a wage, which is, the definition of profit, the very capital which the owner himself had to labor to produce previously. The worker shows up with nothing, and leaves with money in his pocket by exploiting the owner's machines. That is profit. But Marx didn't like the idea that someone else could also profit from that labor.
Communism is based on class jealousy. Indeed, Marxism was motivated only by a notion of class struggle between the workers, meaning people without capital, meaning savings, and those who managed to save to make something better of themselves, those derided as "capitalists". Humans are born ignorant. Some of us remain that way, either as a result of having no opportunity to learn or having no incentive. The poorest of the poor in the slums of Calcutta or Rio de Janeiro might be examples of the former. Osama bin Laden and George W. Bush are examples of the latter. The former are to be pitied for their haplessness, the latter are to be feared for the mischief they might wreak.
Yunus states that poverty is the cause of terrorism, whereas the cause is actually ignorance, the thrill of "knowing it all" when actually nothing of value is known. Yet he is on to something. In addessing poverty in such a humane way, he enables women in particular in the overwhelmingly male-dominated Moslem society of Bangla Desh to make a living. This undercuts the standard Qur'anic description of women as needing male "protection." This flies in the face of Islamic fatalism. This teaches the invaluable lesson of the work ethic, something that we in the West are in danger of losing sight of and which the likes of OBL and W never had to trouble themselves with.
I think Yunus can be excused his attempt to link poverty to economic status during his Oslo speech, for all the faultiness of that connection. His work has rendered a huge service towards the discrediting of traditional Islam by empowering women in Bangla Desh. And he even avoided linking terrorism to the continuing existence of the state of Israel! Let's see what happens in Bangla Desh.

Poverty was the excuse the Islamists used in Lebanon to empower themselves for a jihad against the Lebanese Christians in the mid-twentieth century. When the Islamists protested that the division of power in the Lebanese government was unfairly divided between Christians and Muslims, the government responded Christians paid 80% of the taxes. But they wouldn't go for it, and they brought down the government (and the country with it) over 20 years of war against the Lebanese Christians.
But that was only an excuse they used. After they got the war ball rolling, they wanted to wipe out all the Christians from Lebanon. They didn't care what the Christians accomplished, represented, or rights were; the Islamists just wanted them ALL dead and Lebanon for their own.

Just look at what’s happening in France. Muslims are using their claim of poverty and discrimination to cause riots, disrupt the peace, and reject the authority of the central government. What do you think would happen if the Muslims were 30% of the population? What do you think will happen if the Muslims become 30% of the population? An outright war, that’s what. An outright mass massacre of the non-Muslims! France will be another country where its citizens will be under daily attack by a disease of humans called Muslims.
