(Coral Springs, FL) Americans Against Hate (AAH), a civil rights organization and terrorism watchdog group, is calling on United States Senator Barbara Boxer to rescind the award she has presented to the Executive Director of CAIR-Sacramento, Basim Elkarra. The award, a certificate of achievement for "outstanding service," was given to Elkarra earlier this month.As Executive Director, Basim Elkarra has defended someone who trained for jihad in a Pakistani terrorist camp; he has defended an imam who urged a Pakistani crowd to wage attacks on America; and he has defended an imam who was attempting to build an Islamic school for the purpose of teaching children how to commit violent acts against Americans. Also, Elkarra has described Israel as a "racist" and "apartheid" state, and he has moderated an event that featured a Hamas operative who spent five years in an Israeli prison and who is currently on trial in the U.S.
The organization Elkarra is affiliated with, CAIR, has a number of ties to Islamic extremism. Four officials from CAIR have been charged with terrorist activity, two convicted and two deported. CAIR is currently the defendant in a lawsuit put forward by the family of FBI Agent John O'Neill for the group's role in the 9/11 attacks. CAIR solicited funds for two "charities" whose accounts were frozen by the Department of Treasury for financing Hamas and Al-Qaeda. And CAIR's parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), was shut down, shortly after it was found liable for the murder of an American boy during a Hamas attack.
AAH Chairman and founder of CAIR Watch, Joe Kaufman, stated, "Both Elkarra and the organization he represents exhibit behavior that is unworthy of such an honor as Senator Boxer has bestowed. We therefore demand that Senator Boxer withdraw the award immediately."
Even if Boxer looked into CAIR she would have handed out this award. She's just another member of that group moving us all toward full dhimmitude whether that group realizes it or not.

The message I get from all of this is, boxer is willing to spit in the faces of every young girl in her state. What do you call a person such as this? How do you deal with them? The answer is you don’t. In WWII there were Jews that worked for the Nazis in the concentration camps, hence the term concentration camp Jew. Democrats are quivering with excitement over the revelation yesterday that the top general in Iraq wants a phased withdrawal of troops. To them, this is confirmation that they have been right all along. See! Even the big cheese in Iraq agrees with our cut and run strategy! Well, not so fast.
The plan, according to the New York Times, that General George Casey is advocating calls for 7,000 troops to be sent home this September and 20,000 sent home by the end of 2007. Senator Barbara Boxer weighed in: "Here we have a situation where Democrats, 80 percent of us, voted to say we ought to start reducing our troop presence there -- and again, we got pummeled. And now, it turns out, we're in synch with General Casey." Dream on, lady. Not even close.
First of all, Casey's plan is a gradual drawdown of troops based on the conditions on the ground. That's a plan that could chance. Second, he's calling for sending home just a portion of the troops...around 22% This isn't even in the same league with what the left wants. They want a complete and total withdrawal. All 127,000 soldiers just get up and walk out of Iraq...within the next year or so.
Senator Boxer is a politician, General Casey is the commanding general in a war. Who do you want determining how many troops are needed in Iraq?

I'd like to know specifically what he achieved to merit the award, and if the award is going to him bc of his efforts as executive director of CAIR Sacremento, or if it was for more personal achievements. If she's giving an award to him as exec dir for CAIR Sacremento, then she's giving the award to the organization of CAIR--which everyone seems to know is jihadist.

Dy-Dee delivers as far south as Irvine. I live in Lake Forest, the next city down. We were so bummed that we couldn't get diapers in our area. Dy-Dee allows a work-around: Since I work in Irvine, once a week, I take my dirty diapers in my car. I leave my car alone all day, and when I return, voila!, clean diapers. I love it! Four stars since I can't always rely on when my diaper fairy is coming. A few weeks, we've missed our diaper man and we were out the money for that week.

Well , let's see:
the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which pretends to be a Muslim civil rights group, but in reality has ties to the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas. CAIR seems to spend most of its time in the US making sure that nobody says anything negative about the peaceful and loving religion of Islam.
This is a special interest group supposedly dedicated to promoting the interests of Muslims in the United States. Sort of an NAACP for Muslim Americans, if you will.
If you will research all the terror incidents (a great number of these) and compare them with the CAIR press releases regarding the terror incidents, you will find that the only CAIR press releases are the ones in which coalition troops were accused of killing civilians, or those situations in which show the coalition effort in a negative manner. You will not find one CAIR press release condemning the action of the terrorists. Someone posted a complete list of terrorist actions and matched these actions with the CAIR press releases. It is very clear that CAIR is a Terrorist supporter. I will research and post a link for the list.
CAIR is most definitely pro terrorist.Google CAIRE and review the names and history of its members. Most have ties to terrorist organizations. Birds of a feather flock together.

Well, at least we are talking about it now and we have the the internet where we can all share ideas. 1979 the Iranians were first heard saying death to America, at that time there was no internet, there were no discussions, there was no mention of jihad.
