I can't believe what I am reading, the leaders of Islamic nations are fighting out fictions in real! They are a bunch of crazies. They are going to destroy all of us. Lets get them before they destroy everything that we bulilt.

Jesus wouldn't Destroy anyone. That's allah and Muslim work . Jesus would lead by example and give people a CHOICE.

G-d willing, Jesus will return with Imam Mahdi, Buddha, Abraham, King Tut, Huitzilopochtli, the Tooth Fairy, Aegir and Hermes and wipe away stupidity.

Sahih Muslim, Bukhari and Abu Dawud are solidly in the Sunni tradition, so this mytholatrociny of Jesus is not merely a Shia thing, but a Muslim thing. Having Jesus return to fight for Muslims and against Christians has got to be the most brazen act of chutzpah in all of history!

If President Ahmadinejad *really* wants to know what Jesus would do, then he should read the Book of Revelation, particularly these passages:

19: 11-21: "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. Translation: Ahmadinejad, your ass is God's. You and your fellow Muslim idolaters are going to spend eternity with your so-called prophet -- in a place where air conditioning does not exist.

All kingdoms and dominions on earth belong the the Devil. That includes our own. Scripture is very clear about that, and on that all informed Christians agree.

These nations are thought to be the western powers. Note the Lion nations. Britian and the other English speaking nations. And it looks like they are powerless to stop this?

All these nations are Muslim, turning Muslim or support the Muslim nations.
Notice also the verses say that this will happen in the latter days. I think we are well along on this point.

I'll be the first to admit I don't know as much as I should about the Religion of Peace(TM). At first, I thought many commenters here were just teasing and making fun. But the more I read this site the more I understand what a perverse belief system this is. This article is a case in point. Clearly, they truly are clueless about Christ. If this had not been written in their "holy" texts I would have just brushed it off as Ahmadinejad trying to divide Christians and Jews (which somebody here warned about).

But I'm beginning to understand how depraved various teachings from the Religion of Peace(TM) is.

The Jews didn't kill Jesus -- He laid down his life willingly. There was a reason for that. Gentiles had to be brought into the fold, grafted into the root of His people. Jesus was a Jew and yet He is going to kill the "pigs?"

Not only is this perverse and sickening, it's also very dangerous. Dangerous not only for us infidel westerners but also for those who hold such hideous beliefs.

Ugh--"Isa" is not Jesus--at least, not a Jesus that many Christians would recognize.

The virgin birth *is* alluded to in passing, and Isa is refered to as the Messiah--but this just seems to be an honorific. There doesn't seem to be any real understanding of what "messiah" means.

Isa spends most of his time in the Qu'ran castigating Christians for their error in believing in the trinity, and denying that he is the son of God, or anything more than an apostle. The oddly koan-like phrase "God forbid that He (God) should have a son!" is sprinkled throughout the text.

The shortest chapter in the Qu'ran hammers home this point. The entire chapter, "Oneness", reads, "Say: God is One, the Eternal God. He begot none, nor was he begotten. None is equal to Him." When Ahmadinijad and people like him talk about "monotheism"--even to the Pope--they mean Islam alone. They do not consider Christianity to ba a monotheistic religion.

Isa is also a "prefiguring" figure, who announces the coming of Mohammed. He says, "I am sent forth to you from God to confirm the Torah and to give news of an apostle that will come after me whose name is Ahmed (Mohammed)".

Isa is *not* a redemptive figure. Not only does he not die on the cross, he tricks a follower into dying in his place. In some traditions this seems to be Judas, in some it is some poor unknown schmo.

Isa's main purpose (besides correcting erring Christians) seems to be as an apocalyptic figure in the last days, where he is a "killer of swine" and a "breaker of the cross and spiller of wine"--basically, he is going to kill a lot of Christians.

And on that note, President Ahmadinajad wishes all Christians a Happy New Year!

Speaking of what Jesus would do...I wonder what he would have to say about the three ring circus that Moamar Qaddafi runs over in Libya. Several Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor were sentenced to death (but not before the requisite torture in prison) because about 400 kids turned up with HIV in Libya. The doctors and nurses were part of a big CIA/Israeli plot, don't you know. Now, I've seen the medical practices in that part of the world and I have to tell you that the HIV infections were undoubtedly a result of rank negligence which is an overriding characteristic.

The mother of Prophet Isa (pbuh) was called Maryam. Some peoples also call her Mary . She was a very pious woman and once, an angel of Allah (SWT) Allah (SWT) came to her and said:

”Soon you will have a son”. “But how can I have a son?” Maryam asked. “I have no husband”. The angel replied: “Allah (SWT) is almighty, when He wishes something, then it will happen. You will have a son, and his name shall be Isa (pbuh), and he will be a great prophet of Allah (SWT) (SWT)”.

Later Maryam returned to her family. They were very curious about the child and asked: “How did you get him?”

But Maryam did not answer. Instead, she just pointed to the child. Don’t be silly, Maryam! the peoples admonished her. “How can we ask a child, who is still in the cradle?”

But just then, to their amazement, they heard the child say: I am the servant of Allah (SWT). He has given me the scripture and made me His prophet. We, mankind, should worship only Allah (SWT) and help the poor and give them some of our money. (in the form of Jizah)..

Years passed and Isa (pbuh) grew to be a man. Often, he spoke to the peoples and told them what Allah (SWT) had revealed to him. He told them too of the earlier prophets of Allah (SWT). He told them: I am also a prophet of Allah (SWT) and I am also a man like all the other prophets of Allah (SWT). You should believe in Allah (SWT) and worship no-one apart from Allah (SWT). You should be good to one another and help each other.

Some peoples have given Isa (pbuh) the name Jesus. They say that Allah (SWT) is the father of Jesus. We don’t know if this is true. Allah (SWT) has no sons. Only human beings have sons and daughters.

Isa (pbuh) brought a book to mankind. This book is called Injil, and Allah (SWT) gave this book to Isa (pbuh). In it there are many stories and it is also stated there that mankind should worship only Allah (SWT).

Prophet Isa (pbuh) had many blessings from Allah (SWT). He was able to perform many miracles with Allah (SWT)’s help. He could cure the sick so that they would be grateful to Allah (SWT) and obey and pray to Allah (SWT) alone.

Prophet Isa (pbuh) told the peoples of another prophet who was going to come later, whose name would be Prophet Ahmad. It was Allah (SWT) who had sent Prophet Isa (pbuh) to the peoples to tell them that Prophet Muhammad would come.

There were many peoples who listened to Prophet Isa (pbuh) and worshipped Allah (SWT), but here were some who refused to listen and wanted to kill him. Evil peoples have always tried to persecute and kill Allah (SWT)’s prophets.

But when the evil peoples were just about to kill Isa (pbuh) Allah (SWT) came to his rescue. Some peopless say that Prophet Isa (pbuh) was nailed onto a cross by his enemies and that he died in this way. But we don’t know if this is true? Allah (SWT) protected Prophet Isa (pbuh) so that the peoples could not carry out their evil intentions. Allah (SWT) said to Isa (pbuh):

Go to Kashmir I will let you die in peace after the age of 128 and then you will come to Me and be with Me. Those who had been following you and prayed to Me and did good will be brought to Me. They will receive the best rewards, because they have been very obedient.

The problem here is not religion - it's political ideology. While Christianity is a religion, Islam is more of a political ideology and a fascist one at that. They fight in the name of God because...well...who hasn't. But fighting is ordered by the religion.

There are individual Muslims who reject that part of the doctrine, but in doing so are no longer considered Muslim by their fellow Muslims and their lives are in grave danger.

Mohamed WAS illiterate. This is part of Islamic doctrine. This is why the early Arabs were so amazed that Mo came out of the cave speaking in poetry (the Quran is basically bad poetry). The stupid thing is that you can verbalize poetry without being able to read and write a damned thing. So, how this poetry was a miracle is a mystery to me.

However, Mo was a trader and, thus, had a lot of contact with both Christians and Jews and he obviously started out bringing Christianity to the Arabs. However, by this time, all Christians believed that Christ is the son of God (and is God himself God - which is something not all early Christians believed). How could Mo compete with that? So, he had to de-deify Christ and foretell of his own coming. As Mo got more powerful, he also became more corrupt and blood-thirsty.

And, yes, he always knew that Christ was Jewish. When the Jews refused to accept him as a prophet, Mo started receiving all these messages from God about how evil the Jews were (convenient, no?). The fact that Christ himself was a Jew is not worked out in Islam - as logic itself is not present in the religion/political ideology.

Let's see now...the documents upon which we rely for Jesus' life story were written by his own apostles. And the determination of the verasity of stories included cross checking those documents.

The documents upon which the Islamic account relies is....well, there aren't any. In fact, Islam relies on no documentation at all. Not one word of the Koran was written down until 65 years after Mohamed's death. Not one word of the Hadith was written down until 250 years after Mohamed's death. In addition, Mohamed couldn't have read any Jewish or Christian texts (and, thus, got the story wrong) because he was completely illiterate.

So, you now come around telling us that Jesus' life story is all messed up based on the unsubstantiated accounts of an ancient Arab trader?

On this topic overall, it is patently absurd to think that the Son of God incarnate, Jesus, would have brought a description of a loving and forgiving Father God to us all, only to then say essentially, "But just wait for the last Prophet to come, who will advocate intolerance, murder and intimidation in the name of God, to attain peace."

The account of Jesus (Isa in the Koran) fails completely to mention His resurrection, His appearance to many of His followers, and His ascention into Heaven...a Divine example of how we all should live our lives.
Rather, the world should be driven by Threat and Insinuation, promoted by Mo(the)Ped.
Yeah, if I were illiterate, and Dumb Like Stump, I'd prefer thinking that I could kill indiscrimantly and receive praise for it from my god, too.

Ahmadinejad is a wily, calculating leader, no doubt about it. Associating Jesus and the 12th imam, their return, with world-wide peace...but only after Israel's annihilation.
Not a chance.
What would Jesus do? Now? He'd forgive Muslims for their blindness and ignorance, their error in adhering to Islam.

The Bible foretells many prophesies concerning the Messiah, and Jesus fulfilled them all. Kinda hard to figure out how Jesus did that if He was just another guy like us.

Also, the Bible accurately describes the human condition. We are all sinners in need of redemption.

Lastly, Islam is just another of those religions that believes a man can pray enough, do enough and perform enough rituals to make himself acceptable to a holy God. Only Christianity teaches that God had to come down in the form of Jesus to pay for all of our wrongdoing. It's a gift from God,, done by God and human beings certainly can do nothing to raise ourselves up on the purity scale.

It seems so much more logical and reasonable than Islam, a hodge-podge of platitudes and blithering effusiveness.

I totally understand where you are coming from. Indeed, much evil has been done in the name of religion. The early Crusaders, for example, had a very imperfect understanding of Christianity. By misinterpreting scripture, based on the limited knowledge they had at the time, they killed out of the name of religion. As has every other major religion that I'm aware of.

However, awhile back here at JW, someone mentioned something about a "3rd extreme position" i.e. assuming that all religions are evil and form the basis of human suffering. Communism seemed to thrive on this belief but we see where that lead. In fact, more people have been murdered under atheistic belief systems than any organized religion. I take it The Religion of Peace(TM) might seek to break those records?

Religion is intertwined with culture and not all done in the name of religion is evil. Far from it. Children have been fed, the naked clothed, and the suffering administered to in the name of religion. And while we don't want a theocratic government in the western world, we can recognize that many of our formal western laws were based on religious beliefs as is our culture to some degree (much less now than in the past).

Someone once said, "Yes, but you can't legislate morality." Contrare, we do it every day with, for example, the 10 commandments -- "Thou shalt not murder" "Thou shalt not steal" etc. etc.

And no, that doesn't and shouldn't have to threaten non-religious folks.

Anyway, I got your point. Any "religion" that commands its followers to go out and murder infidels, to me, is a cult. And I don't mind offending them either. ;)

I also did not want to Imply Christians were in any way similar to Islamists in ideology or actions . Unlike the Islamic conquests, the crusades were not a drive to control the world, but a limited endeavor with specific goals. Today they make great propaganda for Islamists, to the point that the very word "crusade" is offensive, but then again Muslims have a deep persecution complex. It's what keeps them going.

The words of a Spanish scholar of the time are revealing and should be presented to any Muslim living in the West:

The word "oppression" has an entirely different meaning to muslims than it does to the rest of us. In fact, all words have different meanings to them and us. This may sound ridiculous, but it's a fact. For example, to defend oneself against jihad is considered "aggression against islam." When the jihad advances to the point of armed conflict, you either convert, die, or become a slave. God forbid you try to defend yourself and you are captured. If you are a male, you'll either be executed or enslaved. If you are a female, you'll be gang raped and become a sex slave. If you are a child, you'll be gang raped and enslaved.

From a muslim perspective, muslims will be oppressed as long as non-muslims exist. As long as anything stands in the way of a worldwide islamic caliphate, muslims are "oppressed." There is simply no logic or reason in islam.

The islamic indoctrination process is almost foolproof and by the time muslims are adults, the programming is all but hard wired in their brains. Think about it---ritual prayers 5 times a day, every day, seven days a week, from childhood to death. Rules that control every minute aspect of life, twenty-four hours a day, even one's thoughts! Absolutely no spontaneity whatsoever---there are rules for how to eat, sleep, dress, have sex, use the toilet, bathe, cross a threshold, how to think, how to speak, etc., etc. etc. No free expression, creativity, independence, freedom. Islam regulates every moment of a person's life. People who submit to slavery to a medieval ideology and a malevolent, cruel, capricious, unknowable deity are hardly logical or rational. Only fear could inspire such devotion and irrationality, fear of allah.

Do they ask 'Why is he an unbeliever?'If they did it's because the world is not just about Islam maybe, they don't understand that Islam is a minority number to the rest of the world's population and other cultures and beliefs exists. It's not like the West teaches Islam like they do and then they have freedom to not believe.

If Muslim countries were to open to freedom of choice then Islam would cave in and people would not run to the West to get away from it. It's a sad situation and I also think they should know who Jesus of the Gospel is rather than have a one way view of him.

I think that you will see more clearly what is really happening in the minds of the 'messianic' leadership of Iran, Saudi Arabia et al if you take one step back from the original question. Crusades not only helped saving what was left of eastern Christianity (which, being a Maronite myself, I can confirm), they are the reason why Europe was not completely enslaved by the armies of Islam. Stop insulting these heroes who sacrificed their lives for our sake, for freedom's sake, for Christ's sake, because "greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13).
These true heroes went into untold dangers, going into an unknown land, to protect their families, their countries, their brothers. They were not afraid to put down their lives for the sake of others. They are true heroes, but the West, engulfed in its unbelief and historical coma, refuses to give them their due honor, because these brave Crusaders embodied almost everything that opposes the current values that the West now espouses.
When I read such ungrateful words that unjustly humiliate such heroic men, it makes me see that the West really deserves to be enslaved by Islam.

A person can spend Years on just one small part of history, yes? If I may ask, how many years have you put into the Crusades? you will find in the different translation of the qu'ran used in america the word "womb" in this ayah has been changed to sleeve or body, however; the original word used in arabic is "farjarah" which means "private parts"!

First, allah claims all he needs do to create life is utter the word "be" and he creates life!

This makes an angel equal with allah . thats called "shirk" in islam!giving associates or partners to allah!

now this ayah and the tafsir to it is quite interesting. they admit the perfect man muhammad was decieved by satan into accepting satanic revealtion and adding them to the qu'ran.
notice in the ayah above allah claims these satanic revelations are permitted to remain in the qu'ran as a temptation to hypocrit muslims!

However i take it from your reply there is no sharing of the words love in islam between husband and wife and therefore the children either.

according to many islamic scholars today there are scientist who have stated they have read the qu'ran and because of the science withoing the covers of the book they believe it did and is indeed the revelations from G*d!
they can even cite you the names of these scientist!
Never mind scientist spend their lives seeking to prove there is no G*d!
but the muslims "pay" these scientist large sums of money to scream to the world they believe the qu'ran are the revelations from G*d.
The same with Doctors, there have been doctors who have recieved large sums of money from muslims to state they have read of the embroyonic stages of a baby in the qu'ran and now they are convinced the qu'ran is the revelations from G*d!

This is dealt with in Islam (sort of). Muslims just conveniently consider all prophets--Adam, Abraham, Jesus--to be Muslims, and the monotheistic religion they practiced to be Islam.

So what about all those pesky Jews and Christians? They are all basically apostate Muslims--either in error or hypocrites, not following the "true" monotheistic religion, which is Islam.

This is why the "interfaith" approach will never work, although a lot of earnest Jews and Christians so fervently hope it will.

Let me correct a statement I made in my previous post. Although not apparent in the link I provided (for obvious reasons), the Lebanese Christians fought alongside the crusaders, and took the brunt of the backlash when the crusaders fell or left. In fact, they have been fighting to maintain their faith in Christ in their native land long before and long after the crusades. In the last century, they tried to erect a free, tolerant and peaceful country, but the Islamists tore them down. They were devastated both in WWI, in the civil war, and constant terrorization; today Lebanon is a terrorist host.

Holy war is for Judgment Day. In the meantime, we can help our allies fight the Islamists. And I'm talking about Thailand, Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, soon France, etc.

The fact that it does not suprise me that all that Jews and Christians hold dear would be thought of as being Muslim. All I can say is that the Muslim comunity must get its facts straight, the Jewish/Christians were around much, much, longer.
