Venomous propaganda indeed

In an article called "Venomous propaganda" in Pakistan's The News (thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist), Burhanuddin Hasan discusses the America's Truth Forum Symposium that was held in Arlington, Virginia last April, although he thinks he's discussing the America's Truth Forum Symposium that was held in Las Vegas last month. And that's just the beginning of his errors, which I bring you for the record.

A think-tank in the United States called America's Truth Forum is in fact an "untruth" forum, meant to spread hatred and spit venom against Islam and the Muslims. In a recent seminar in Las Vegas, a group of so-called scholars and journalists were invited to speak on the subject of roots of terrorism and its threat to world peace. But the underlying purpose of the moot was to abuse and malign hundreds of thousands of peaceful Muslims living and serving in the US in various professions as American nationals or as 'Green Card' holders.

The President of the forum Jeff Epstine gave out the information (without proof no doubt) that since 9/11, there have been over 4,000 terrorist attacks around the world by Muslims, who have also been waging economic and political jihad against the "civilised" world under the banner of Islam.

Actually, it's Epstein, and there is plenty of proof. It is exceedingly ironic that a writer in Pakistan, of all places, would have us believe that there is no Islamic terror activity going on.

A Lebanese Christian, Brigitte Gabriel, spoke of her childhood, living as a Christian in Lebanon. She said, "We had multiculturalism. We believed in diversity… but the Muslims had different plans. Once they became the majority, they declared jihad on Christians. The Muslims consider us infidels. That's why they want to kill us. Media wrongly reported this conflict as a civil war. Only Israel understood the evil we were fighting."

Absolute trash. It is a historical fact that Muslims and Christians have been living in Lebanon in perfect religious harmony under a constitution which guarantees equal rights of governance to both Muslims and Christians. Israeli attacks on Palestinian refugees living in the camps of Sabra and Chatillah had nothing to do with the Muslim-Christian conflict.

Tell that to my Lebanese Christian friends whose homes were bulldozed -- and not by the Zionists, either.

A Hindu speaker, Babu Suseelan, who provided a Hindu perspective on Islam, said that Islam indoctrinates violence.

One Robert Spencer, who claims to have studied Islam for 20 years and is the author of several books, raised the issue of "moderate Muslims." He talked about what is a moderate Muslim and where do we find one? According to him, "After 9/11, we were told that most Muslims shared our values and deplored the killings. Media hasn't had much success finding examples of that viewpoint to present to the public. The best definition of a moderate Muslim is the one who is not exploding a bomb – at the moment!"

I did not offer that as my definition of a moderate Muslim. I said that that was apparently the definition being used by the government and media elites, since they seemed to assume that any Muslim who was not engaged in violence acts or planning for violent acts in the name of Islam was opposed to violent acts in the name of Islam.

Anyway, this fellow also apparently thinks that the "Director of CAIR" spoke at the Symposium, unless this next paragraph is also meant to refer to what I said:

The Director of CAIR (The Council on American-Islamic Relations), a sensitive cell which trains FBI and other law enforcing agencies on "how to deal with Muslims" said Islam can spread in the US only through peaceful means and not through terror preached by Osama bin Laden. He said all Muslims are not terrorists. Moderate Muslims have no way to make a case for peaceful coexistence on equal terms with non-Muslims based on the Quran and the Islamic tradition. You can't have a free society in which people of different faiths can live together and allow Islamic law.

Anyway, this article is on the level of other critics of mine who have recently claimed that I must not mean what I say and then proceeded to excoriate me for not believing what I say I believe -- that my courtesy is discourtesy, and that my affirmation of a position actually means I oppose it. Neither are worth replying to. However, this one is noteworthy because it appeared in the Pakistani press. It is interesting that anyone in Pakistan would take notice, or think others should take notice, of the America's Truth Forum. It is hard to get the truth out in America today, and when someone succeeds in doing so, it apparently makes others exceedingly nervous.

A little OT, but this article has me ruminating about something.

Due to the Islamic violence level in the world today, people are actively seeking knowledge of the Qur'an, Hadiths, etc. In a weird way, that's a good thing. Had Muslims remained fairly "peaceful", and concentrated only on the demographic spread of Dawa, Islam would probably be far more entrenched in the Western world.

Fighting the PC fog against a truly non-threatening religion would have been so much harder. By the time they had the numbers to vote in Shar'ia, it would be too late.

And yes, Robert, Hugh, and all at JW, please keep their feet to the flames.

Yeah, I had read this report before and kept thinking, "No WAY would he say that!"

I'm glad Robert clarified things.

Cheers,

This idiot must have gone to the Pravda school of journalism-his article reads like it came right out of that rag from the Cold War. But then again, Islamania never lets the facts get in the way of its triumphal march to glory.

AIG...I have wondered the same thing...'what gives', with these people(MSM and our 'fearless leaders'). Are they "THAT' stupid or are they getting something for their appeasements, denials, outright disinformation and lies...? I vote for 'THAT STUPID', however I dont discount 'payments under the table for some...

What gives?

The almighty dollar. If someone digs deep enough they will probably find a whole lot of people and organizations bought and paid for by the Islamaniacs. Those Saudis have plenty of dough and they love to spend it to advance their insidious cause. Even the supposedly rightist Fox News has some Saudi ownership-their tentacles reach in places we probably can't even conceive of. Getting off oil would bankrupt these fat cats-only then will we make some noticeable progress in fighting Islamania.

From the horse's mouth:

C.A.I.R. = "a sensitive cell".

What kind of "cell" is this "sensitive cell"? Is such a "cell" one which expresses is sensitivity to Islam? Is such a "cell" one which extolls the virtue of Sharia and the 'holy' Koran, and places Islam, as Muslims are required to do, above all other laws?

And how is a Muslim "sensitive cell" different from a Muslim sleeper cell"?

What gives?

As Hugh says: timidity, stupidity and cupidity

to remember the Middle East and Muslim countries among Muslims the most popular book next the Koran is a book by the master lies hittler mine kamph
who was a master at the big lie i.e. propaganda so it's not surprising that Muslims were his allies are also good at propaganda

Mr Spencer, you have Lebanese Christian friends whose homes were bulldozed by Hizballah.

Maybe you can explain why so many Lebanese Christians have allied with Hizballah, or the Sunni's.

And what is with that Christian Emile Lahud, he kind of reminds me of another supposed Christian..Michel Aflaq, co founder of Ba'athism.

What's with the Christians of the mideast, are they thoroughly dhimmized after 1,000 years of oppression?

That they even identify as Arab is proof of the extent of the Stockholm Syndrome.. Arab is not a race or nation, but it is a self designation based on enculturated brainwashing and the nature of one's native tongue.. and the native tongue of "Arabs" wouldn't be Arabic if it weren't for the conquest.

Taking the justification for Arabness and applying it to the Americas, then English speaking Americans including Running Bull, Samusi Yakahoma, and folk with names like Soprano,ONeill, McDougal, Leibkowsky would be Englishmen, and all persons south of our border would be Spanish, save the "Portugese" that live in Brazil.

Utter nonsense I tell you.. do the Copts consider themselves Arabs? I think not, but Egyptians do, do the Marionites consider themselves Arab.. maybe, I don't know.

There were never Israeli attacks on (so called) Palestinian (so called) refugee camps. These attacks were done by Lebanese Christians on Arabs who used to live south of the border but were not assimilated by and/or chose not to assimilate into Lebanon. They had been there a long time, too long to be considered refugees by any standard. The killings, though gross and inhumane were reprisals for similar ethnic clensing perpetrated on Christians.

CAIR wants to spread islam peacefully in the usa. Then, once that is accomplished, sharia law would replace the us constitution. Folks in america think that that could not happen here in the us.

Americans need to wake up. Forget about political correctness. The enemies of the us come in many disguises. Some claim to be peaceful, but they support terror organizations like hezbollah and hamas directly or indirectly. Others are more vocal in their apparent hate and want to destroy america directly.

The pakistanis have always been viruently anti western. They want the rest of the world to be as miserable as they are. The spread of islam has only brought more misery and despotism in the world. Look at all the countries who are predominatedly islamic. They are dictatorships.Adolph Hitler would be so proud of the islamic world..
