A firebrand Islamic leader who urged young Muslims to become holy warriors and labelled Jews as pigs could face charges of incitement to violence.Australian Federal Police are looking into DVDs featuring Sheik Feiz Mohammed, the leader of the Global Islamic Youth Centre in Liverpool, in Sydney's west.
NSW Premier Morris Iemma today accused the sheik of inciting terrorism in the collection of DVDs, called the Death Series.
The Federal Government said the sheik's DVD preachings were "reprehensible and offensive", Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd said they were "obscene" and Mr Iemma labelled them "disgusting".
If it is found the sheik's comments breach sedition laws and incite acts of violence, the AFP will launch a full investigation and he could face charges.
NSW Jewish Board of Deputies chief executive Vic Alhadeff said the sheik was inciting racial hatred.
"It is of great concern when people in positions of influence abuse that power to incite racial hatred," Mr Alhadeff said.
In the DVDs, which are on sale through the youth centre's website, the Sydney-born cleric urges young Muslims to be prepared to sacrifice themselves for Islam.
The sheik, who has spent the past year living in Lebanon, also talks of a Muslim killing a Jew and ridiculed Jews as pigs.

Apparently John Howard is a bit of Quadrant Magazine fanfan, addressing the Qudrant magazine 40th anniversary dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, on 03 October 2006.
He described Quadrant as,

I think that all Jihad watchers should grant themselves a quiet moment of celebration. Although news broadcasts in the Great South Land might not be perfect, they are beginning to highlight what 'might' amount to a prevailing attitude within the Ummah, one inferring that Moslems grow impatient to 'introduce' to the lands of the Kafirs the true wonders of the Religion of Peace. I believe that the self-appointed leaders of Islam (leading straight back to the mighty of both Sunni and Shia Islam) are starting to read the writing on the wall. Huh, wot? (Australian for wtf?)

What Moslems today need to understand is that it is their very dependence on the false teachings of a false prophet, who was a severely limited Arab desert raider, and of the Hadith that emanated (most probably out of Persia!!!) that will be their undoing. Mohammed did not have to deal with nations far more sophisticated than his, whose heritage is based on the Books that Mohammed failed to study in full because he couldn't read (what irony!) and so could not utilize to the full extent possible so as to refine his version of 'god' ie Allah ie il Illah (of the black rock in the prehistoric Ka'aba fame).
The short version is that Islam cannot become sophisticated. Cunning (otherwise spelt CAIR) does not replace genuine knowing and wisdom. If Moslem leaders had even the remotest hint of true love for the many hundreds of millions of 'devotees' to Islam, they would work desperately to integrate Islam with 21st century Western society, where they can receive the best of all good things. Nuff said!
