A New York Post editorial calls upon the Democrats to cut all ties to Dhimmi Carter. If only they had the integrity and courage to do so. "Jimmy For Terror," from the New York Post (thanks to all who sent this in):
January 15, 2007 -- Has a former president of the United States - a Nobel Peace Prize winner, no less - given his blessing to wanton murder and terrorist assaults against Israel?Sure looks that way.
How else to read that astonishing statement on page 213 of Jimmy Carter's new anti-Israel screed, "Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid"?
To wit: "It is imperative that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for Peace are accepted by Israel." (Emphasis added.)
You don't have to read between the lines here.
Carter isn't calling on the Palestinians to give up terror and murder now as a way to convince Israel they are serious about peace. Rather, he says they can wait until they've achieved their goals at the bargaining table. No need, says Carter, to give up terrorism until then.
Certainly, that's how 14 members of the Carter Center's advisory board read that paragraph. Indeed, it's why they angrily submitted their resignations last week.
Read it all.
Why does Israel always "have to" accept policies of others.??
How about other accepting the policies of Isreael???

"Jimmy Carter: Most of the condemnations of my book came from Jewish American organizations, which think that I believe there is racial segregation inside Israel. I don’t base it on that. My whole book is written about Palestine and its lands, and about what is going on against the Palestinian people, which is, in my view, very similar, and in some cases even worse, than what happened to the blacks in South Africa."
"which think that I believe there is racial segregation inside Israel. I don’t base it on that."
So, he doesn't base his book on Israeli racism. Right.
What a damned one trick weasel.

With this assertion, history will remove any kindness it would bestow on ex-president Carter for his work in the Camp David accords. That was the only meaningful legacy Carter had and now he's destroyed that.
Perhaps Carter should go to Gaza and build some affordable homes for widows and orphans of shahid. That's all he will be good for now.
I've said it before and I'll say it again-peanut brain needs to be checked out for every age related problem of the brain. Something is clearly wrong even by his past dismal standards and statements. The man is simply embarrassing-must he soil himself before he gets the medical attention he desperately needs?
And Dhimmi Carter also gave the Panama Canal away for free.....The the Chinese took over....Dhimmi Carter ... what a dolt...
I'm starting to wonder if the guy is even aware of the criticism that is coming his way. Let alone that the criticism sinks in.
I don't know, but I get the feeling that his attitude is somewhat autistic, but maybe I'm reading this wrong.
So Dhimmi Carter is a nazi then?

Let's just say if Israel disappeared and the palestinians built a new Auschwitz peanut brain would probably enjoy a tour of the place at the rate he's going.
Hang Carter!
Has anyone looked into the mental health of Carter? He sounds insane to me. Or is he on the payroll of the Palestinian Authority?
Why did Billy have to be the one that died?
Hang Carter!

Second that! After all, Dhimmi Carter is as brain-washed and dangerous as his terrorist buddies.
Has anyone looked into the mental health of Carter? He sounds insane to me. Or is he on the payroll of the Palestinian Authority?

Yes to both probably. I am pretty sure he commands some hefty speaking fees.
to carter & to many other leftists the golden rule is that there is no such thing as a bad underdog & no such thing as a good upper dog
moral. we should all become underdogs so we can enjoy the status of being good. jimmy should give up all his wealth & his nobel & should grovel in the dust to become good. hes a sick puppy. imagine the torment in his divided brain
Anyone who pays Carter a speaking fee higher than two cents also is in need of mental health exams.
Not insane. Evil. And a megalomaniac. I would think that he was delusional but he can certainly still count...
Dr. Jihad:
"How many petro-dollars am I holding up, President Carter?"
Carter is obviously not a lot brighter than his late brother Billy, just more inclined toward sobriety and self-aggrandizing piety, but what about his editors and the publishers' laywers letting that one get by?
I'm not a betting woman, so I will leave it to those so inclined to figure out how quickly this book is going to get pulled from the bookstores and library system.

Why the jihadists will win.
Christians are taught to forgive, be kind, we are all equal in Gods' light. It's the backbone of the United States. People that constantly put down America don't realize that the comfortable life thay are currently living was created because of the Christian values that held us together.
But let me give you anarchists a warning. Once these Christian values are brushed aside, where churches no longer bring people together to remind them of the values they should strive for, then you will be whining like a baby 'cause life will get a whole lot worse.
People, wake up, this life is not a joke, stop taking it like it is. All I've got to say is project this current situation in your mind out 10,20,30 years from now. Is that where you want to be. Please help the dumber, violent people to stop acting stupid.... and beat the sh*t out of the instigators.
Carters behavior recently has reminded me of a personal encounter with him while he was running for President.
I had landed a cushy job as a caretaker of an Audubon Nature Center on an old estate. The big house was used for meetings of environmental organizations.
Now understand, this was in the early 70's when a lot of very smart non-America hating, non-capitalism hating people were aware of the need to be better stewards of our planet. Many of these people were very bright scientists who understood that the need to grow our capitilistic society was not in oposition to caring for the environment. At that time the wackos, lefty maniacs who took over later were in the minority.
There was a meeting at which my only function was to make sure there were refreshments.
I walked into the living room as a heated argument was taking place. Mr. Carter and a chemist were discusing the merits of energy production.
I know this will be hard to believe but the Sierra Club guys were for Nuclear Energy and Carter was for Fossil Fuel! It has bothered me all these years, until I heard about his Petro-dollar financing. I remember having this creepy feeling as I looked at him that "this guy is lying about something".
You are right in your suspicions about his mental capicity now though. All one had to do is watch him at Pres. Ford's funeral. I took care of my Mother when she had severe dementia and he's going fast.
I've heard this before,

Evil? demented?
Carter,Clinton,G.H.Bush,G.W.bush, theyr'e all the same, They have all sold U.S. out for the petro dollars.....We need a president that already has plenty of money so he/she can work for americans not

Exclusive: Jimmy Carter Interceded on Behalf of Nazi SS Guard
01:28 Jan 18, '07 / 28 Tevet 5767
by Ezra HaLevi
A former U.S. Justice Department official disclosed to Arutz-7 that former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s advocacy extended beyond the Palestinians, when he interceded on behalf of a Nazi SS man.
Neil Sher, a veteran of the U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Special Investigation, described a letter he received from Carter in 1987 in an interview with Israel National Radio’s Tovia Singer. The letter, written and signed by Carter, asked that Sher show “special consideration” for a man proven to have murdered Jews in the Mauthausen death camp in Austria.

I do not understand the surprise. Carter has exhibited, did exhibit at Camp David, an antipathy to Israel, a cruel indifference to the past that every Jewish Israeli carries around within him, that were dead giveaways of the classci antisemite. Yet some are now horrified, and resign noisily from the Carter Center (some who, back at Camp David, were among those taking Carter's side against Begin).
Carter has not changed. He is just freer now, or thinks himself freer, to be more openly vicious. Anyone who failed to recognize that in 1979, 0r 1989, or 1999, should bethink himself.
Looks like Dhimmi Carter is going for the Trifecta Dhimmi of the year award!!
He is WAY ahead of the field. For such an old guy he's really smoking the competition!!
You don't have to read between the lines here.
Just like the Koran.
When Carter finally passes away, and goes to meet his Allah, we can rename the S.S. Minnow in his dishonor.
You are right in your suspicions about his mental capicity now though. All one had to do is watch him at Pres. Ford's funeral. I took care of my Mother when she had severe dementia and he's going fast.
And a hearty good riddance to him.
But give credit where credit is due: He distinguished himself as our worst President, but topped that by distinguishing himself as our worst, and by far our most dishonorable, ex-president.
But why are his eyes so glassy?
Jimmy Carter-former nuclear physicist...
carolyn2, I know these aren't your words but the words in the article behind your link, but a clarification:
ex-Prez Jimmy was a nuclear engineer, not a nuclear physicist.
My ex-father in law was a nuclear physicist, and he was no Jimmy. Physicists break ground on the outer edges of human understanding of the physical world. They do this by combining measurements of physical reality with theorems that are best described as long-chain mathematical algorithms.
ex-Prez Jimmy was a nuclear engineer, a naval officer who operated equipment designed by engineers with a support staff of nuclear physicists who designed the reactor system based on the theoretical work done by the serious nuclear physicists at SUNY, Princeton, MIT, X, Heidleberg, and any number of public/private labs like the Lincoln Labs.
In other words, he watched the dials and pushed the buttons of a system put together by much more serious men.
ex-Prex Jimmy couldn never wear the jock straps these scientists wear, but he would probably sniff them.
ontheleftcoast,
"Evil? demented?" Demented by practicing evil?
The clown's in the pocket of the Saudis. The only good thing that this book does is that it encourages more people to look at Dhimmi's Saudi connections, and might result in more people realizing that the Saudis are funding this insidious Islamic expansion everywhere in the West.
Daisytoo, you had me at "From Al-Jazeera interview w/Carter".
I believe that calling for, even in jest, the demise of an American President or former American President is a felony in the US. Be careful.

Perhaps too much medical mari-jew-wanna? Or in his case, mari-zionist=racist-pig-wanna.
Let's face it! If Dhimini Jimmy was commanding the revolution, this would still be a British Colony. If Dhimini Jimmy was President instead of John Adams, we would still be paying tribute to the Barbary Pirates. And apologizing for the defenese of Vienna and the crusades. If Dhimini Jimmy was President instead of James Polk, California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and other parts of the West would not be U.S. If Dhimini Jimmy was President instead of Abraham Lincoln, this country would have split apart. If Dhimini Jimmy was President after Custer's Last Stand, we would have unconditionally surrendered to the Sioux. If Dhimini Jimmy was President during the Spanish American war, Spain would have held onto Cuba and the Phillipines much longer. If Dhimini Jimmy was President during World War II, the Germans and Japanese would have split the country. If Dhimini Jimmy was President instead of Truman, the Russians would have invaded Europe and North Korea would be all of Korea.
This 'Daisytoo' quote from the al-Jazeera article, "[m]ost of the condemnations of my book came from Jewish American organizations, . . ." says it all. This paranoid, 'Jews under the bed', doddering former president is a bigot siding with muslim bigots. To think that "most of the condemnation of [his] book" is coming from only Jewish American organizations shows his escape from reality that started, for the public record, in 1979. The American people rejected then his bid for a second term, just as Americans reject today his myopic, terror-supporting world-view. I'm not a Jewish American, nor a member of any 'Jewish American groups', and I reject Carter. But with Carter thinking his speaking tour as a result of this book being published is a 'conquering hero returns' Jimmypalooza, we see how detached from reality his brain has become. He needs to get away from the safe college campuses and mainstream media interviews to find out what we think of his stupidity. It would really open his eyes for a half a second, until his supercilious arrogance kicks in again.
". . . which think that I believe there is racial segregation inside Israel."
Jimmy's right on this one, there is no 'racial' segregation inside Israel. But there is religious segregation inside the Palistinean Terrortories committed by those poor refugees he so much adores. and who have been refugees longer than any other group on this planet. Perhaps 'Palestine' should be named Refugeeland?
Good job, Jimmy. You are securing your 'legacy' as the most inept, bigoted, and insipid president of all time. That you managed to get elected president even once still scares the hell out of me.
"...that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear..."
Err.. has anyone noticed that not only does Carter seem to give the green light to continued terror attacks until such time as Israel gives in at the bargaining table, but that only SIGNIFICANT Palestinian groups make it clear ...
So, 5 guys from Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigade today form the "Al Goza Martyr's Brigade" tomorrow (ie: after Israel caves in at the table) and continues to commit terrorist acts against Israel. Since the new group is/was not a significant group (by Carter's words), I guess they don't need to abide by what Carter suggests... This is taqqiya wrapped in a hudna sandwhich that has not even the pretense of hiding what will become the facts on the ground in any circumstance...
Gadzooks!
I think I've developed an allergy to 'peanuts'!!!
Carter believes all kinds of things. He believes that the 1949 Armistice Lines became permanent borders, even though they never did because the Arabs kept refusing the Israeli offer to make them so (and he appeared to know the truth back in 1974, but has forgotten it in the intervening years). He believes that Resolution 242 is to read to mean withdrawal from "all the territories" won in the Six-Day War, when it not only says no such thing, but Lord Caradon and others carefully crafted the document so that it would NOT mean that. And the statements of both Lord Caradon, the British ambassador to the U.N., and of Michael Stewart, the-then British Foreign Minister, make clear that Resolution 242 did not mean what the Arabs, who failed in their attempts to change the wording and the interpretation at the U.N. itself, then went off and insisted, without any justification, it did mean -- the meaning which Jimmy Carter, Arab stooge, now blithely gives it.
It was Jimmy Carter who wrote speeches for Yassir Arafat so that he could make a better impression (see Douglas Brinkley's biography of Carter). It was Jimmy Carter who hectored and bullied the Israelis incessantly at Camp David, and caused them to finally sign that terrible (from the point of view of Israel) agreement by which, in three tranches over a very short period, the entire Sinai, with its oil and critical airfields and infrastructure all put in by the Israelis, was handed over to Egypt, and in return nothing tangible at all given, mere promises to discourage hostility toward israel and to encourage a "peaceful" attitude. The antisemitism of Egyptian television, and its press, that is so reminiscent of Der Stuermer in its depiction of Jews lying in wait to snatch a child in order to use his blood for some ritual, has not exactly been an example of what the Israelis had in mind, and what, under the Camp David Accords, was the only thing that they had a right to expect, and even that was denied them.
Shall we go into Carter's credulous acceptance of the "Palestinian people"? What about Carter knowing -- the doctuments have now been released, and it is clear that the American government knew all along, but was hiding it in order to protect Arafat -- that Arafat himself signed the order for the seizure and killing of two American diplomats in Khartoum by Black September? How could Carter, knowing that, proceed not merely to protect Arafat by not making this information public, but increase his efforts to help Arafat improve his image, and polish his sinister message?
And finally, what does Carter know -- what -- about Islam and the doctrine of Jihad? Do you have the feeling he's been studying up on that, reading the Qur'an and Hadith and Sira, figuring out why it is that the size of Israel does not make a whit of long-term difference to the Arabs and Muslims, and that they differ only on the time it will take to achieve their ultimate and unswerving goal, whether they are like Fatah and support the Slow Jihad and lying or fudging about their objectives or like Hamas and support the Fast Jihad and telling the truth about their objectives?
He's a guide to nothing. And an obvious antisemite. Not only in his indifference and cruelty toward Israel, demonstrated on so many occasions. No, that antisemitism is also demonstrated in the sympathy he gave to a self-serving letter from the daughter of a Nazi concentration camp guard and murderer, who had been found out and was in the process of being expelled. Carter found the daughter's letter one worthy of sypathemtic consideration, and wrote on her letter to him (how often, by the way, does any President ever read any of the mail sent to him? And of that tiny percentage, how often does he feel compelled to write on that mail a hand-written note to someone urging that the letter's contents be favorably considered? and how often is that letter's contents about a Nazi murderer who is being expellected by the Office of Special Investigations after a thorough and meticulous study?
There's a lot to say about Carter. He was, in both domestic and foreign policy, our worst president. Under Carter Iran was lost, and Khomeini replaced the Shah. Under Carter, nothing was done, save that witless fireside chat, without any attempt to educate the public, about the need to get off oil. Under Carter, so many things went wrong that even Gerald Ford, so mediocre himself, later described Carter as a "disaster."
But one did not know, or few did, that he was morally so vicious, morally so unacceptable.
And now everyone knows, or should, and not merely the few who took his measure thirty years ago, and did not like what they saw.
