Hizb ut-Tahrir, a jihadist group that is banned in many countries, is holding a conference on restoration of the caliphate in Australia. Authorities can do nothing about it, because H u-T advocates peaceful means.
This is something that is going to have to change if we wish to resist the Islamization of the West. Sharia supremacism must be recognized as a goal that is being pursued by non-violent as well as violent means. It must be exposed as at variance with Western principles of freedom of conscience and the equality of dignity and rights of all people, and resisted as such no matter how it proceeds.

AN ULTRA-radical Muslim group banned in many countries will promote support for an Islamic superstate in a seminar in Australia this month.Christian critics claim that the seminar, to be conducted by the group Hizb ut-Tahrir, will be a recruiting ground for extremists.
Hizb ut-Tahrir believes that the caliphate — a part of the world under Muslim rule that, at its peak, ran from Spain to Iran and beyond — is about to be re-established.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is banned in Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia and most Muslim countries in the Middle East because of alleged links to terrorism, including the bombers behind the 2005 London attacks.
It is not banned in Australia but is controversial because it opposes democracy and Muslim integration, has tried to recruit young Muslims and ran a lecture last year titled "Israel is an illegal state that Muslims will never accept".
A promotional video for the January 27 Sydney conference on the internet site YouTube.com claims the world was "plunged into darkness" on March 3, 1924, the date when Turkish leader Kemal Ataturk ended the Ottoman caliphate.
l am sure the Aussie undercover agents will have video of all who attend this conference. it is probably going to lead to other radicals, and they will be able to find them and deport them at the right time. this will be a magnet attracking islamists.
The Aussies need to stand up to this. Change laws if needed!

I have a question for you guys. One of the arguments muslims use to support their "peacefull" religion is that during the time they (claim) they reached the climax in their civilization (Caliphate, Al-Andalus, Otoman) it was a time of great culture and scientific discoveries. Well, I am not aware of any scientific discovery coming from these time periods. I know they were great "compilers" of pervious discoveries, even they got the credit for transmitting to Europe the Hindu numbers, which we ended up calling Arab numbers.
Then, my quesiton is: are you guys aware of any scientific discovery during the "golden age" of islam?

I don't have a lot of facts at my disposal, but in my 'net travels' have seen many items saying that muslims stole a lot of ideas and then took the credit for them.
I am sure Hugh or Robert, or many of the other posters here will be happy to give you a more detailed answer.

The question I'd have about this is, how many caliphates have been instituted by "peaceful means?" If the answer is "zero," then the Aussies need to take that into consideration before they allow BS like this to occur. What they are really advocating is "forceful subjugation of the entire human race to a caliphate through peaceful means."
What if the Nazis had advocated this "peaceful means" too? It would still have been tyranny. Peace at any cost will be the death of all that is good and decent in human culture. It will produce a humanity of servile robots.

Ask a question like yours and the next thing you know, muslims claim heaven abd earth, Islamic. muslims have no ontegrity consceience or shame in declaring that zeto was invented by Arabs, where as in reality zero was invented by Indian mathematician, Aryabhatt... and just yesterday, Naseem claimed Jesus to be an Islamic prophet. The only thing Islam discovered was the cure of humanity off the face of the earth. Thanks a lot for all those who answered my question and for the useful links. I know for a fact from the history of my field of expertise, geodesy and geophysics, that there were no inventions per se under Islam. Not a single one. Even the determination of radius of the earth was done by the Greek Erastotenes around 200 B.C. (yes, the Greeks knew already the earth was spherical) was ignored. It would probably be considered a blasfemy. I am curious to see what happend to other fields of knowledge.
Last year I went to Istanbul for a conference and while visiting Topikapi (where the sword of the false profet is by the way) my host, a Turkish university prof, was telling me how much the Otoman Empire lagged behind from Europe due to Islam. The clerics even forbade the use of the press for a couple of centuries because they considered that anti-islamic.
It may seem odd that I asked this question under this caliphate conference in Australia, but the point is that Islam represents, among other things, scientific retrocess.

You are definitely onto something. Whoever it was who put Islam together as we know it knew the limits of our species very (frighteningly) well. That they knew us so well and how to manipulate the human mind indicates that its origins are earthly.
There is another possibility- Islam could have been hatched by a similar species of hominid here on Earth, a species that spent several eons on earth with us. You will note that there are structures on earth that pre-date civilization but are indeed the work of one civilization or another. There are also in the Bible references to the presence of hominids (as in the parable of David and Goliath...Goliath was no homo sapiens). There is therefore proof that other species of intelligent hominids have existed on earth. In fact, it is just possible that they exist to this day in the Middle East--some of the imams pictured in "OBSESSION: Radical Islam's War Against the West" look so much like apemen that I was virtually driven to this conclusion!
I suspect it is possible that another species of hominid is responsible for creating Islam. The reasons: to enslave us and ultiomately exterminate us. And it is doing exactly that with great efficiency.
Islam, in my view is an inter-species extermination campaign. And the tenets it uses were in evidence in babylon and the pre-Columbian Americas.
The seminar has been cancelled by Bankstown Council on the grounds that the group promotes hate.
The council members are brave to take this stand, Bankstown is jihadi territory, so maybe there will be some reprisals.
The group has already 'demanded' an 'explanation' from the council and threatened legal action.
The council has publicly declared that constructive political discourse is only acceptable when islam is removed from the national conversation...

However, there was one other important detail I inadverdently omitted--the Islamic calendar follows the MOON, as did the Babylonians' calendar. This leads me to suspect that there was a NOCTURNAL, predatory species of hominid (other than homo sapiens) that is responsible for the Islamic "religion" and the Babylonians' (which shares much in common with Islam, including the moon-god). Why would a species like man that lives and works by day utilize a calendar that follows the MOON??? It really makes no sense when you think about it.
