VIENNA (AFP) - The UN watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency has asked Iran to reverse its ban on 38 IAEA inspectors from working in the country, a spokeswoman told AFP.The IAEA "requested Iranian authorities to reconsider their decision," spokeswoman Melissa Fleming said.
Fleming said the IAEA sent the letter Wednesday to Tehran, two days after an announcement in Iran that the Islamic Republic was blocking 38 IAEA inspectors from entering the country.
Alaeddin Borujerdi, the head of parliament's national security commission, told ISNA news agency on Monday that "the committee (in charge of implementing parliamentary legislation) decided not to allow 38 inspectors to enter Iran and this restriction has been officially announced to the IAEA."

As much as I didn't like the harm that was about to come to the people in Iraq during the prelude to the invasion , I still blame the U.N. and Saddam for creating the situation that prompted an end to the useless U.N. Resolution

The US has been financing and hosting the UN buiding for decades. It has been an effort in futility. The UN may have been a good idea on paper, but in reality it has been smoke in the wind. It is time to move the UN building to somewhere else (maybe Tehran, Gaza, or maybe Paris). The UN building is nothing more than a den of spies anyway. Unless the UN can show some backbone, the US should withdraw from this worthless entity.
When I see the situtation in Iran developing, I get a sense of deja-vu. Haven't we witnessed this senario at a time in the not so distant past?
