A British Muslim has been found guilty of soliciting murder during a London rally against cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.Umran Javed was also convicted of using words likely to stir up racial hatred at the February 2006 protest by the jury at the Old Bailey.
Javed, 27, of Birmingham, had said: "Bomb, bomb Denmark, bomb, bomb USA."
Javed had claimed his chants against the two countries were "just slogans" and that he "regrets" saying them.
Remanding him in custody, Judge Brian Barker said he would not pass sentence until several other trials relating to the protest had concluded - expected to be in April.
The maximum penalty for soliciting murder is life in prison.

The penalty should be whatever the max allows.
When the "youths" or "asians" destroy public and private property, they too, should be arrested, convicted, and taken off the streets.
If you have to do this every day, then, so be it.
You condone bad behaviour by not prosecuting bad behaviour.
If you go around town, smashing windows, toppling mailboxes, or vandalizing cars; would you expect to be arrested?

.........Certainly sounds like solicitation of murder to me.....Usually, when one Muslim cries bomb, bomb, bomb, there usually is one listening and plotting to do just that.

Workers from Birmingham City Council are removing the posters
Posters have appeared around Birmingham describing the September 11 hijackers as the "magnificent 19."
The posters, which have been branded illegal by Birmingham City Council, also feature Osama Bin Laden, the twin towers on fire and advertise a political meeting to be held on the anniversary of the attack.
Birmingham City Council has already removed dozens of these posters but said they had been put up again.
West Midlands Police said that special branch officers are investigating and with the Crown Prosecution Service, are considering whether to bring charges against the organisation behind the posters.
A small radical Islamist group called Al Muhajiroun are featured on the posters.
Al Muhajiroun spokesman Umran Javed said: "For us to air our views with regard to this issue, should in fact fall into the category freedom of speech.
"I don't see how people should have a problem with it.
"We believe what these individuals carried out on September 11 was an extraordinary event."

Any detemined investigation by the West Midlands Police would trace the perpetrators using DNA and fingerprint technologies. If this were a 'white on ethnic' race crime or so-called 'homophobic' incident, the force would not spare one penny in bringing those to justice.
If you watch the video of this rabid dog foaming at the mouth and screaming his hatred and death wishes it is no wonder he was convicted. But what about all the other MORONS who were chanting too why haven't they been charged? Also what worries me is that his 'Human Rights' will prevent him from being deported back to the Islamic cesspit he or his family originated from. If somebody says "Bomb bomb Mecca! Bomb bomb Iran!" on a radio talk show (or internet posting) should they be prosecuted for "inciting racial hatred"? Prohibitions against "hate speech" in practice usually become prohibitions against speech that the prosecutor hates.
I think this guy Javed is clearly a jihadist. He wasn't guilty of "inciting hatred" he was guilty of inciting acts of war. If he is a citizen he is guilty of treason in time of war and should meet a war-time traitor's fate unless he opts to renounce his citizenship and be deported like the undesirable alien that he is.

if he is the same Umran Javed we have been reading about in the past, he has been asking for it for years, now he needs to be given it.
Umran Javed, in reality, is guilty of Hate Speech in the first degree or in Infidel terms "Jihad Speech", which should carrying a mandatory sentence of "expulsion", of the convicted individual and his/her entire family, to Saudi Arabia, cost of which to be recovered from the Royal embassy of Saudi Arabia.
Given Jihad is important to Islam, Saudi Arabia will have no problem paying the "pocket change" for "expulsions".

Are these the same values that make places like Highfields in Leicester a virtual no go area for me, a white male, when I have been visiting friends and relatives? What about when I go into a predominantly Asian pub in Bradford or Southall – am I welcomed by these fantastic values of yours? Am I bollox, at best I am tolerated because I with my Pakistani friend in Southall or, when in Leicester, with my Indian relatives. On enough occasions I have been verbally abused in the street, intimidated and made to feel unwelcome in these areas to make it an issue.

With reference to the opinions posted above I have two comments:
1. Malta 1565 has said it all. Prosecute the idiot under the correct legislation and not allow the government to introduce more and more hate-crime, religion-crime, non-freedom of speech-crime restrictions on the British public. The hate-crime, etc. laws, I guarantee, will be implemented more against non-muslims than the islamofascists. The left-leaning atheists in goverment who seek to destroy the British way of life will see to that.
2. Concerned Canadian is misguided if he thinks that the Metropolitan Police deliberately allowed 'the scumbags rope to hang themselves'. The police had NO INTENTION OF DOING ANYTHING until PUBLIC OPINION FORCED a reactive prosecution. All that the police forces in Britain today do is victimise the motorist, avoid no-go-areas, use Human Rights legislation as an excuse for doing nothing, take long sick leave, sue their force if they have to face any degree of so-called trauma, viciously pick on upper and middle class protesters such as the Country folk, use any fabricated incident to accrue massive overtime payments, and so on. The police HAVE LOST THE RESPECT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC but have no hesitation in showing their polical correctness at each and every opportunity. Individual policemen and women may be decent people but as a group the police as uselessly self-protective, and seeing them armed at every whipstitch frightens me to the core.
