ISTANBUL, February 22 (Compass Direct News) – Police detained Christian families in Upper Egypt and forced them to deny arson attacks on their homes during a spate of anti-Christian violence last week, the families said.Two Coptic Orthodox families said police detained them for 36 hours when they attempted to report a February 13 assault on their homes in Armant, 600 kilometers (373 miles) south of Cairo.
The fires came five days after Muslim groups set four Christian-owned shops alight on February 9.
International media reported that rumors of a love affair between a Christian man and Muslim woman sparked the violence, but local papers said hostilities began over accusations that Christians were blackmailing Muslim women to convert.
In the wake of the violence, police detained eight Muslim young men and Copt Ramy Ishaq, whose relationship with a 19-year-old Muslim woman was the basis for the romance rumors, sources in Armant told Compass.
According to the sources, Ishaq and seven of the Muslims remain in police custody.
Two Copts said that on the evening of February 13 unknown assailants threw burning, kerosene-soaked cotton onto their houses on the outskirts of Armant.
The Christians, who requested anonymity, said that they were able to quickly put out the fires and then went with a group of six family members to report the attack at the police station. Upon their arrival, officials refused to investigate the report, saying that there was no evidence and the damage was minimal.
“Police asked them to sign statements that they had attempted to set their own homes on fire to claim that they were being attacked by Muslims and to demand police protection,” one source told Compass.
If you have no police cooperation, vigilante justice will occur....

This occurred naturally to the Muslim Arabs of Egypt: to accuse Christians of having deliberately set fire to their own houses.
Now where have we seen incident after incident of crying wolf, and of people setting fire to their own houses or stores, and claiming victimisation -- not truthfully, as these Copts were, but falsely? And then CAIR adds them to its jimmied statisticis on "Hate Crimes Toward Muslims" and when the police investigations show these charges to be false, neither CAIR nor anyone else appears to pay attention, and the truth is reported on the back page, if reported at all.
You know that what the Muslim police were insisting the Christian Coptic victims of Muslim violence do came easily to mind, because that kind of thing comes naturally to Muslims living in Infidel lands. Look at the record of false claims, and feigned outrage over imaginary victimisation, all over the Western world.

This is absurd! Muslims in Egypt… and anywhere else, DO NOT… I repeat, DO NOT have any problem with Muslim women getting their hooks into a Christian man!!!
The fact is that it is the duty of any “good” (and I use that term VERY loosely) Muslim to convert an ‘infidel’. If a Christian man wishes to marry a Muslim woman, he MUST convert to Islam… mission accomplished.
Unless the Muslim woman is a prostitute (oh yeah… they do exist = / ), the chances of her (especially in Upper Egypt) of having a pre-marital “affair” with a Christian is slim to none. If she is a prostitute, then her “profession” is without doubt, well known to all, and therefore, would not be subject to “blackmail” from anyone, least of which, from a Copt.
Furthermore, conversion from Islam is NOT permitted nor recognized in Egypt (or any other Muslim nation)… in fact, the only conversion a Copt can do in Egypt, is conversion to Islam… they are not even allowed to convert to say Roman Catholicism… their conversion to anything but Islam is forbidden by the authorities and thus, not recognized… they exist in a true state of dhimmitude.
A Muslim CANNOT convert officially to anything… for any reason. Since this the case, to what end would say a “secret” conversion serve? Her I.D. would still state she is “Muslim”. Anyone wishing to marry her would also have to be “Muslim” whether born or converted.
This is simply another example of Muslim mob rule. The Muslims (especially in Upper Egypt and Alexandria) NEVER hesitate to attack the Copts for ANY reason real or imagined (more imagined or concocted).
The Copts are genuinely very good, decent, hard working and well educated people. They are in a very bad way in Egypt and what they really need is international support, not the international MSM covering up for Islam.
The authorities in Egypt will assign blame on the Copts or cover-up this incident as they always do by stating that it was perpetrated by a single “mentally disturbed” individual… and that the Copts are loved and valued members of Egyptian society.
I know many may say that the Copts are to blame for their fate. I would remind those people that the Copts have stood up many times, trying to break the yoke of their Islamic oppression. The last time, their rebellion was brutally crushed with the help of the British… yes, the British!!!
The Copts have found that their only hope lays in immigrating to western country’s… leaving their ancestral homeland of more then 5000 years. There are now far more Copts living in the west, then in Egypt… a very sad state of affairs.
We in the west, should look at the fate of the Copts as an ominous omen as a fate we ourselves may some day face if we fail to wake up and deal with the enemy that is no longer just at our gate, but well within, and we are inviting more and more to follow.
Political correctness has not served the Copts, but has doomed them to diaspora. It shall not serve us either, it will only serve those who seek to dominate us. So we have a choice, it is not too late for the west to act.
