Still not turning their rifles against Israel, as our Friend and Ally The Moderate Mahmoud Abbas exhorted them to do. From AFP, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
GAZA CITY - Clashes between rival Palestinian factions continued through the night and into the morning Saturday, leaving eight people wounded and shattering an infant ceasefire, doctors and witnesses said.Fighting between the ruling Islamist Hamas and the Fatah faction loyal to president Mahmud Abbas raged across Gaza City with some of the fiercest fighting occurring near the headquarters of the Fatah-dominated security services, where five people were wounded, medical sources said....
On Friday, Abbas, the chief of Fatah, and Hamas’ exiled leader Khaled Meshaal in Damascus, agreed to a ceasefire after 25 people died in 24 hours of clashes.
That accord has become the latest in a long series of truces in recent weeks to fall apart soon after they were agreed.
The two leaders have agreed to meet in the Muslim holy city of Mecca next Tuesday on the initiative of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
Ah. A veritable Hitler-Stalin summit.
if Abbas and hammas leader think they can patch up the love between their factions, they are even more stupid. each faction who has lost a member from the other side will never give up revenge, its arab culture and not easily erased. oh some will remind that the jooos are to blame, but getting back revenge will never leave their minds. the way they are fighting its like shooting in a fish bowl, you just never miss.
Perhaps giving weapons to Hamas and Fatah was not such a bad idea after all, as long as they continue using the ammunition on one another.
There isn't enough dead to declair the cease fire "shattered".

And I hope this summit goes as well as the Hitler-Stalin summit. After Hitler betrayed Stalin and attacked Russia anyways, I believe the Soviet army killed the most Nazis of any of the Allies.
All the more reason why we should support Israel's wall.
