Iranian general supervised Hamas arms, source says

Iranian agents supervising the jihad in Gaza. By Ali Waked in Ynet News, with thanks to Kemaste:

A Palestinian source has said that the Iranian general nabbed in Gaza by Palestinian security officers supervised the manufacturing weapons and explosives for Hamas. The source told Ynet on Friday that the expert was in charge of several labs in the university, mainly chemistry labs in which he trained Hamas activists, most of them women, manufacturing the explosives.

At least five Iranian citizens were arrested during a raid at the Islamic University, a Hamas stronghold in Gaza City. One of the Iranians committed suicide during the raid. Six to nine Palestinians were killed in the raid, sources said.

The raid on the Hamas-linked university in Gaza was carried out by national security forces affiliated with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Hundreds of weapons and a lathe for the production of Qassam rockets were seized in the raid.

Can someone get Ikhwan to prevail on Hamas not to be the puppets of those Rafidite dogs?

We need Hamas vs PIJ/Fatah/Al Aqsa riots in Gaza.

Ah yes, the hallowed halls of higher education, where impressionable, eager, bright young minds yearn for an education that will instill them with values and learning that will equip them to be valuable members of society and to help their country as a WHOLE and to help all mankind better themselves, have a vibrant economy, and help bring the disadvantaged up to a better standard of living.--------------------------

Oh, I forgot, its an ISLAMIC University, where all they will learn is how to end up scattered around a burnt suicide bomb HOLE!

From WHOLE to HOLE in one easy lesson.

How sad.

Isnt it wonderful that IRAN is SO concerned with the higher education of these precious Palestinian youths that they would send one of their top Generals to teach the valued ideals of their nation and society. Valued education like this will surely lift all Palistinian peoples to a much higher standard of living.

NOT!!! DONT THINK SO! AINT HAPPENING!

AGAIN, SAD, SO SAD!

Shi'ite or Sunni, they're against us.

Islam must be defeated.

Islam CAN be defeated.

How?

I just wonder how much of this Fatah effort against Hamas is pure power-play, and how much targets terrorists (which Fatah is full of).
The answer is probably that they made this raid to weaken Hamas and were happy to embarrass them with news about the Iranians since Iran supports Hamas.
I'm still trying to figure out why the US and Israel think it's worth shipping all those guns and millions to Abbas and Fatah. The main benefit seems to be that it's helped stoke a civil war.

he main benefit seems to be that it's helped stoke a civil war. Jewdog that is probably a good enough reason. l hope the US and Israeli govenments did not actually believe otherwise.

I'll tell you, Princess, I just hope that some of those involved were canny enough to realize that a civil war would ensue, though I doubt Condi Rice was one of them.

Entirely possible. Or entirely possibly, a fabrication, designed to present Fatah as bravely preventing the spread of dangerous Iranian influence -- useful when you are trying to extract or keep support from the generous Infidels in Washington, or from the so-far-not-nearly-as-generous fellow members of the umma in Riyadh and Cairo.

So much for the intransigence of Sunni-Shi'ite hostility.

"Of course, actually they don't screen for that at all."

Nor is telling the truth a policy. Funny how not screening and not telling the truth about who gets in unscreened go together.

Virgil Goode told the truth and Begala played the bigot card on him and indirectly on Bay Buchanan.

"Paul Begala should apologize to Bay Buchanan, Pat and Virgil Goode"

Above posted on wrong thread.

Just goes to show, our intentions and their intentions are not one and the same. We see the world through corporate achievements and capitalism, whereas they see the world through conquering domination and control. Just give them the ultimate; the A-Bomb, and you'll see more of their intellectual achievements across the Middle East ! Ka-Boom !

Hisbolah, Hamas, Fatah, they all want the same thing. It is just a matter of who in the end gets credit.

All this peace talk needs to go on if only for Diplomatic show. Ultimately showing the whole hopelessness of the endeavor. We in the West cannot possibly accept the consept that Diplomicy failed. Reason has not prevailed. Admitting such would require action counter to the main stream Ideological mind set.

It is obvious that the Muslims will never, ever, ever let Israel exhist. Will Never let it be held in Christian hands either.

The Diplomacy really keeps preasure on the Muslims to make them do something they will never do. So the Muslims fight over who gets credit for the do they want to do.

All I see in this "peace process" is our side bending over backward to acomplish the impossible. If the Diplomats ever decided to stop trying to kiss their own behinds by standing up and declairing the impossable to be so. There would be a dramatic Howl by the deniers and appeassers.

The only thing that makes sence to me as to why the "left" downplays the conflict is wealth. A war with Islam would cost trillions of dollars. The loss of futher revenue flows as a result of infrastructue dammage and diverson of other assets to more basic human needs. Why would any self respecting Socialists want this level of asset management to slip through their fingers?

Look at Venezuela. The poster child of the American Left. The birth of a Socialist Dictatorship through the Demoncratic principle of a free Vote. Jimmy Carter even stamped it with his seal of approval. Hugo plans to remove 2 Billion dollars from Verizon. Nice of him. So if the Poster child can do this in his Country. Just how much plunder is there in Our Country for our own Socialists?

Were less than 2 years away from a Hugo... Clinton style.

Unless Condi is allowed to stand up of course.

The really big picture that is developing before our very eyes, is that this is becoming more of a war with Iran than anything else. Hezbollah,Hamas, and Syria have become financially and militarily supported proxies for the Iranian mulluhocracy. The 20,000 extra troops in Iraq are probably the first ground front against this ever encroaching Iranian military where it is time to deal head on with the Mutaqh Al-Sadr Mahdi Army who is also getting its support from the Iranians. I think where going to see many more procurators captured or killed over the next year by forces that are confronting the evolving Iranian connections who are pulling the strings of these groups and Syria.

Let me step way out for a moment; I think we also need to be very concerned about our southern borders and the Hugo Chavez, Venezuelan connection to Iran as well, as it becomes a Cuban type dictatorship where we may expect to see executions, and or imprisonments of those in Venezuela who have opposed Chavez over the years. These events cannot be ignored when it comes to the fanaticism that reigns in Iran.

ElderlyZionist says,

"I see the US and Israel playing war-of-nerves with the Persians. I don't believe either state will start a war with Iran. The only way to prevail would be by a mass nuking of the Islamic Republic, killing 20 or 30 million Iranians. The fallout from that scenario would be extreme."

If no one satrts a war with Iran, Iran will start one. then we will have a choice:

1. Do what we did in Iraq. worry more about killing the enemy than about our own troops.

2. Destroy Iran's war capability with overwhelming force--fast and uncaring for how many of the enemy die. We cannot put the welfare of the enemy--military and civilians--above that of our own people (as we did in Iraq). You fight wars to win, not to shore the enemy up for another crack at us, and another, and another . . .
