Jihad group says Musharraf won't be allowed to end Kashmir jihad

"If somebody does not want to be a slave and wants to live a free life, what wrong is in it?" This is why the Bush Adminstration's rhetoric about bringing "freedom" to Iraq will never work. Sure, everyone wants freedom, but Imran Khan thinks that freedom equals life under Sharia law, not life in a Western-style democracy.

"MMA says Musharraf won’t be allowed to end Kashmir jihad," from the Daily Times, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

ISLAMABAD: Speakers at a rally to mark Kashmir Day on Monday rejected President General Pervez Musharraf’s four-point proposal for a resolution to the Kashmir dispute, and said the president would not be allowed to end jihad in Kashmir.

Participants in the rally, organised by the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) from China Chowk to Parliament House, branded Musharraf’s four-point proposal a “conspiracy against the ideology of Pakistan”. The protesters shouted slogans against the president, US and India.

MMA President Qazi Hussain Ahmed accused President Musharraf of conspiring to divide Kashmir, and said the MMA would not allow this to happen.

“Musharraf assured the nation that he would not reverse the Kashmir policy when he took a U-turn on the Afghanistan policy and joined front ranks in the war on terror, but he is now changing the Kashmir policy as well,” said Qazi.

He said the president was visiting Muslim countries to urge them to recognise Israel because he wanted to be an Israel and US ally. He called the US a “terrorist killing Muslims in Afghanistan and Palestine”, and said the president and the Pakistan Army were serving US interests.

The MMA chief accused the president of demolishing mosques and seminaries in the name of targeting terrorist hideouts, and said, “I salute the female students of Jamia Hafsa who stood against the government.” The seminary’s students took over a children’s library following the demolition of a mosque in Islamabad.

Qazi said army generals did not know how to fight the enemy, because they had become “property dealers”.

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said the president was not mandated to resolve the Kashmir issue. He alleged that Musharraf had become a “private secretary to Condoleezza Rice, the US secretary of state, in a bid to resolve the Palestine issue”. He claimed that the president’s idea of enlightened moderation was a means to get closer to Israel, and said the president did not know that the US was now moving away from Israel.

He said Musharraf considered all those who voiced concern over his idea of enlightened moderation “extremists”.

“If somebody does not want to be a slave and wants to live a free life, what wrong is in it?” he said.

He alleged that the president had excluded jihad from educational curricula under pressure from the US.

Would that this were so.

The only solution to the Kashmir issue is total destruction of Islam. Even if India gives all of Kashmir to Pakistan, the moslims will just find another chunk of land to fight over.

Complete and total annhilation of Islam is the answer.

"...the president [Musharraf] had excluded jihad from educational curricula under pressure from the US."
-- from the article above

He can exclude all he wants. But the Qur'an remains, the Book of Life and Death, for all Muslims. The Hadith remain, in the authoritative and deadly (for Infidels) collections. The example of Muhammad, uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil, Muhammad who, like Lenin for the convinced and unreconstructed Bolsheviks of a later day, remained after his death "zhivee zhivykh" or "more alive than the living," remains as the model of the Perfect Man, necessarily to be emulated, in every respect, by Muslims who wish to be true and good Muslims.

The only thing the Infidels can do to change the nature of Islam is to stop helping, stop trying to help Muslims in every way. Show that you know what Islam is all about, in theory (the doctrines in the texts) and in practice (the 1350-year history of Islamic Jihad-conquest and subjugation of non-Muslims, either killed, or converted, or reduced to a status of humiliation, degradation, and permanent physical insecurity). Then do nothing to help Islam: diminish all transfers of wealth, from Infidel states (end all Jizyah-aid, diminish as much as possible the OPEC revenues by crash programs to find other sources of energy, new ways to save energy, and deliberate encouragement of non-energy-reliant ways to amuse or entertain ourselves -- less NASCAR racing, more chess games and reading, less mass tourism, more mass cultivation of minds, and so on).

Force, force, force Muslims to confront the sources of their own political, economic, social, intellectual, and moral failures: Islam itself. But to do that, Infidels have to make the connection first. It requires a little study, and the leisure to engage in such study. But it is not an impossibly difficult matter. Not at all. In fact, it is hard, once one has properly informed oneself, not to make that connection.

Freedom and Sharia Law can't be combined - they're opposites. Until Islamic Sharia Law is no more in Islamic countries, no freedom for them.

Assalamau Laikum all,

Qazi said "army generals did not know how to fight the enemy, because they had become “property dealers”.

I can certainly agree with this sentiment...we had plenty of open space around us in Lahore...but now you can just about swing a cat.

Many army types have moved into our area...mysteriously getting plots of land which were "reserved council property".

Invariably the best and biggest plots tend to be...yes you guessed it...retired army generals.

The price of proprty has simply skyrocketed in Lahore these days.

Our own neighbour's wife...comes and parks her self in my house "what is the point of fighting India now...they are too powerful...much better to have peace and live in comfort, forget about Kashmir...(and then laughs)...well perhaps not"....well they do have one of the best houses ...so I guess she would say that. They are sunni and I never talk about religion with them.

Lahore though has a newfound urban cleanliness and much more to attract tourists. Peoples, let me tell you...in all of South Asia, the cuisine of Lahore and the Lahori spirit is difficult to beat, “Food Street” is on every tourist’s mind in Lahore these days.

There are lots of forts and The Lahore Fort in its present form was started by Akbar the Great in the late Fifiteenth Century.

Due credit must go to the current prime minister cum financial engineer who has turned the paki economy around with the KSE jumping 380% in last five years and the economy generating the new found cash that is driving a thriving local economy.

So in Lahore anyways...Kasmir is over there somewhere and on the back burner. The more economic success we have ...the less we will think about Kasmir....only the bloody MMA won't let us forget about it.

Imran Khan thinks that freedom equals life under Sharia law, not life in a Western-style democracy

Imran Khan, the ex-Pakistani cricketing captain, with his clean-shaven suave looks and a clipped British accent, may not appear at first glance to fit into the typical image people have of jehadists and, yet, he is as jehadist as they come.

It seems to me that there has been miscommunication between these jehadist groups and Mush (who is as jehadist as any of them). Mush has no intention of stopping jehad in Kashmir, his remarks were pure kitman or taqiya meant to lure Indian politicians to grant him even more concessions than they already have. Looks like he fooled not only the Indians but the other jehadists as well. That India would take anything from Mush seriously is only a sign of severe dhimmitude from the Indian politicians. It was Mush who, as the commander of the Pakistani military forces, so stealthfully had his troops cross Indian borders and take strategic positions on Indian mountaintops all the while when the then PM of Pakistan (Nawaz Sharif) was feting the Indian PM (Vajpayee) in what had been termed as a great peace overture between the two PMs.

The only way to stop the Islamic aggression is to beat them down to a point economically and physically that these Islamist nations no longer pose a threat. You most certainly do not open your borders and your schools to these cultists like we have done. You most certainly do not live in a state of denial, political correctness and fear, as we have done.

And you most certainly do not keep treading water on the same mistakes until the next 9/11.

At least, that's how I approach the problem.

There isn't a need to add more to that solution. We either have the resolve and the wisdom to do what is right and necessary in the next 20 years, or we can kiss our asses goodbye.

Due credit must go to the current prime minister cum financial engineer who has turned the paki economy around with the KSE jumping 380% in last five years and the economy generating the new found cash that is driving a thriving local economy.

No, due credit should go to the USA which has pumped billions of dollars to prop up Musharraf in his supposed fight against the jehadists. Its a pity that the US government is feeding the very hand that will eventually bite it.

I seem to have really mixed up my metaphors with my last comment. Sorry about that... but you get the point I'm making, I hope.

We don't have a choice but to support the few sane minds in the Middle East -- especially when nukes are part of the issue. The problem is Islam, not the US government.

Today Kashmir, tomorrow the rest of India? Wouldn't be surprised if they want the rest of the country. They can take Uttar Pradesh though. S***iest state in the country.
