ONE of the alleged 21/7 bombers told a friend to "give us a ring" if he wanted to join a holy war, a supergrass witness claimed yesterday.The man, identified by the codename Bexhill, said "fanatical and radical" Muktar Ibrahim and Yassin Omar tried to recruit him to fight jihad.
He told Woolwich crown court: "He said if you would like to go for jihad, think about it and if you want to go, he said give us a ring."
He said Ibrahim claimed he had jihad training in Sudan, learning to fire a rocket propelled grenade.
Bexhill said Omar "was trying many times to convince me for jihad and that those people doing suicide bombings are right.
"I was trying many times to convince them it was wrong."
