AN ice cream vendor was killed and his headless body left sitting on the bicycle seat of his cart in Thailand's rebellious Muslim south today, police said.The vendor, a 45-year-old Buddhist originally from the country's northeast, was shot three times in the back of his head while riding his cart into a Muslim village in Pattani, one of the three provinces hit by the violence, police said.
"They chopped his head off and walked away with it, leaving his body sitting on the ice cream bike's seat," a Pattani policeman said by telephone.
"Under current circumstances, he shouldn't have ventured into such a village," the policeman said.
Right. Not "Under current circumstances, we must step up law enforcement efforts to neutralize people evil enough to behead an innocuous ice cream man," but "Under current circumstances, he shouldn't have ventured into such a village." And that is emblematic of the worldwide reaction to Islamic rage -- it's the same thing Dinesh D'Souza is advocating now: we shouldn't call Muslims to acknowledge and reform the elements of Islam that give rise to violence, because that will just anger them. Instead, let's tiptoe around them and hope they don't hurt us.

When I lived in Philadelphia, the black muslims would not eat ice cream because it was made using pork by-products. (urban myth??).
Well, there's nothing more deadly than a Buddhist ice cream man so this was just a justifiable case of self defense from the religion of peace. No big deal.

Has anybody heard or read about the bomb that went off in Chiangmai? It was clearly a burmese muslim carrying the bomb into the mosque. No more reports ever again since then.
The news is, that some of the authorities are coming back to that claim and it will be further investigated.
