The Islamic bookshop raided yesterday has been at the centre of controversy for seven years.The Maktabah store has been raided three times under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. It has links with several past and present terror suspects including Moazzam Begg, who was held in Guantanamo Bay, and Dhiren Barot, 34, jailed for 40 years last November for planning attacks and said to be Osama bin Laden's "UK general".
Maktabah, Arabic for library, is in Sparkhill and sells DVDs of bin Laden as well as books calling on British Muslims to rise up against the West. Titles include 21st Century CrUSAders: A War On Muslims In Iraq And Palestine and Heroes of Islam.
It also published a book by Barot which was used in evidence against him when he was jailed for planning a "dirty bomb" attack on London.
In 2000 the store, then based a few hundred yards from its current location, was raided by 60 officers, who took away books, files, computers and questioned staff.
It was owned by Imran Khan, a former stockbroker, and Begg. No one was charged and Begg later left to set up a school in Afghanistan. He was picked up by US officials and spent three years at Guantanamo before being released without charge in 2005....
In Nov 2003, both stores were raided along with an office he retained above the book store and his parents' home in Birmingham....
A website linked to the shop was still selling radical books yesterday.
If the British, or the American authorities, had behaved the way the British, or the American authorities, are behaving today, World War II might have been lost. Why has this bookstore been permitted to stay open? Why are Muslims denouncing Britain and calling for the death of Infidels -- or for disloyalty to Infidels, or hostility to Infidels -- permitted to continue to receive benefits, as Hamza was up until the day before yesterday. Why are they permitted to keep the money and houses they have wangled from governments too generous with the money of Infidel taxpayers -- too generous paying the Jizyah of foreign aid to Muslims abroad, too generous in supporting, through a transfer of wealth not unlike a Jizyah (becuause the Muslim recipients regard it as by right, and the Infidel governments are afraid to limit or discontinue payments to clear enemies of the Infidel nation-state and its people, out of fear of the Muslim reaction, i.e. an end to the "protected people" status of the Infidels themselves).
There needs to be an expression of fury by Infidels all over the Bilad al-kufr at the miserable failure of their leaders, or rather, of all those who presume to "take a leadership role" but have failed, are failing, will fail as long as they remain blithely unaware of the full meaning, malevolence, and menace, for Infidels (not Muslim women, not Muslim "reformers," not Muslim thisorthat, but Infidels), of Islam.

MIGHT have been lost? Most of us wouldn't be here today had the Americans and British acted then like they act now. The only good thing in that scenario is that Islam would also be gone too-the Germans and Japanese would have wiped them all out without hesitation.
there is a large islamic bookstore in my city 9and some tiny ones). I went in to the big one but most of the books were in arabic. Being a clever Greek Christian infidel that I am I invited my Egyptian (coptic) friend of mine one day (who is fluent in Arabic) to visit the store with me. He had them fooled (blessings of Allah to you blah blah --oh my friend here no he was born in Canada does not know any arabic --no he is so white because he is of northern Syrian blood yes and I am Egyptian yes allah be praised etc etc) and then we scanned the covers. Three books were about outer jihad one title: "THE REAL JIHAD!" We have reported the store to the RCMP (the Mounties). I know they have some arabic speaking agents --hopefully they will listen. They did take down the report and seemed to take it seriously.
We are definetely in a war like WWII yet even more insidious is the enemy this time. And unfortunately we have modern Chamberlins to deal with. Soon the Churchills will have to take over. The screaming pro-Islamic useful idiots in the West will be hiding under desks wearing their newly bought bukas (to be on the safe side of course) while the rest of us are fighting the islamic threat. Remember this followers of the corrupt prophet breed like rats and with bookstores like the above and 'faithful' imams in the West the children will be raised to accept jihad (like the 17 in Toronto here, who tried to bomb several locations in the city).

......just download the Al-Qaeda manual availiable on the internet...it gives specific instructions ..that if captured...make claims about torture...
it is what they are instructed to do.....
the claims of being tortured is just a claim...no truth to it...
i guess theres nothing we can do about it? we cannot vote in people that will save us, we cannot speak out about it, so we just have to pretend that everything is ok and pretend that sites like this will somehow save us when everyone else in europe will sooner embrace islam rather than die by the sword.
just glad that i live in the USA, at least i will have a life time to live in freedom here, but my children might not. guess its up to us all now to grow some balls and do something about it whilst we live in freedom.
