Sheesh, are Muslim women so invisible that a MAN has to write what they (supposedly) feel?

Actually, I hope that this poem and a few more like it, insulting to the West and touting Muslim superiority, are widely published. This is a quick read. This poem is not one that a person has to sit in a classroom and workshop about for an hour. For people paying only slight attention to what is going on and to the constant assault by Muslims, this poem could be like a light bulb turning on in the head.

You have to remember muslimas are under enormous pressure ...from Islam to remain just where they are ...and from the West to "modernise". Peoples please remember ...in the eyes of many , modernisation means slutty..and in essence is what this poem is afraid of.

Actually I cannot see much wrong with the poem.

The vast majority of us are not promiscuous, disease ridden, childless sluts, but loving wives and mothers, intelligent, hard working, and faithful to our beliefs. I was listening to "As It Happens," the radio show produced by the CBC, yesterday evening. I happened to hear part of the interview with the author of this work of art. I didn't hear his explanation of why he wrote a poem from a woman's point of view. I did hear that he wasn't intending to impugn the morality of all Quebec women, just one particular woman, one that he must have had difficulties with.

First of all, the interviewer seemed less than satisfied with his answer. This is a small victory, when CBC puts aside political correctness in favor of pursuing the truth. However, secondly, there was no follow-up on why he would have used a poem to vent his disappointments. Did this young man pursue some wild, Western slutty womans, only to have her turn down his fragile sense of manhood? Poor snookums. Didn't he know that there are so many Moslem women at his disposal and that they wouldn't be caught dead even being accused of not being interested in him?

Maybe this whole incident could be made part of the next episode of CBC's "Little Mosque on the Prarie," where the morality of the entire town's womenfolk is called into question, with hilarious consequences of course.

In truth, Naseem, such stereotypes are absurd. Don't judge western morality from Hollywood. That's just fiction. Although I do lament the loss of faith (and some morality) in much of Europe, the situation is not like you describe at all. It's true that the divorce rate is way too high but compared to Islam where a man can put away any of his wives (plural!!!) with just three sentences AND keep custody of his children, even if he's abusive, I'll still prefer even the modern secularized West.

From my own experience, the easiest women are rich Saudis. They get on a plane in Riyadh in full hijab. By the time the plane stops in Cairo, the the abaya comes off to reveal western clothes. When they land in Rome or Paris, they're in miniskirts and putting on makeup and lipstick in preparation for their night clubbing and picking up Western men for anonymous sex while thier husbands or brothers are in the casino gambling away countless dollars. This is the reality.

I even know of one Saudi princess (the daughter of a now-dead king) who tried to seduce her Lebanese Christian doctor. He refused. Islam is profecient at driving immorality into the shadows but like most sin, in the shadows is where it thrives.

I am a mom too...I have two childrens, My son 23 now, recently graduated from the UK (wanting to marry Sarah , an infedel) to become Sara and a muslima.

I trust that Quebed Human Rights has been given a great number of complaints about this ant-Quebec poem.
