Hamas TV broadcast today a video dramatization of the four-year-old daughter of female suicide bomber Reem Riyashi singing to her dead mother and vowing to follow in her footsteps. The video clip ends as the little girl picks up sticks of explosives from her mother's drawer.The Al Aqsa TV children's program shows a child actress playing the daughter, watching Riyashi preparing the bomb and asking her mother, "Mommy, what are you carrying in your arms instead of me? A toy or a present for me?" She later sees a TV news story about her mother's suicide mission and death, and realizes her mother had been carrying a bomb.
"Only now, I know what was more precious than us . . . " she sings of the bomb.
Although she misses her mother, she vows to follow in her footsteps. The video ends as she opens her mother's drawer and picks up the sticks of explosives her mother had left there.

The minds have been poisoned in this whole group of Palestinians. Where are the Palestinian TV shows encouraging their children to work for a better life than their parents had, or urging diplomacy with Israel to end the bloodshed? There are none. The Palestinians would rather continue committing terror attacks and wallowing in their misery--and then blaming it on others--instead of attempting to better their condition. They've had opportunities to have a separate state alongside Israel, and wasted them by stubbornly refusing to acknowledge that Israel has a right to exist. And it's probably already too late for their next generation, already brainwashed by this Hitler-Youth-esque death cult. It's really hard to be sympathetic to these people, except for the brainwashed kids who never had a chance.
Why listen to those who bleat about disproportionate response? They don't care if they or their children live or die why should we?

Okay, so some people might claim that Rim Al-Riyshi's suicide attack was seen purely as an act of resistance and a desperate act of a proud Palestinian striving for the freedom of her country, I think it is important to put this children's programme in context first.

Thats pretty ironic since the Qur'an itself teaches hate and intolerence towards all non Muslims.
I have seen "300" yesterday, and my point of view is the following :
"300" is THE movie of the War on Terror so far.
Look at the characters : the Spartans are the Americans. King Leonidas said to the Persians, an allegory of the Muslim world (and actually the ancestors of the present Iranians), "you came here to promise slavery to my people, it is Sparta here !"
Leonidas cannot send his army against the Persian invaders because of a council, an allegory of the United Nations and the "Sparta's law", the so-called "international law". The United nations are represented by corrupted, rotted people, who are raping a beautiful and innocent girl, who could be the metaphor of Justice and Truth. The (UN) council refuses to send armies against Xerxes, even when Leonidas tell it that Sparta could be surrounded by the foe. Leonidas, back to his wife, asks her : "What should I do, when the the law forbids me to defend Sparta ?" And his wife answers : "Ask yourself what a free man should do." Iraq War, anyone ?
Leonidas is definitely the metaphor of President Bush. Despite the denial of the council, the King of the Spartans sends men to defend Sparta against Persians.
When his Queen is asked why she wants to send reinforcements to her husband, she answers that "freedom is not free and is paid by the ultimate sacrifice, blood." Sounds like the slogan of the War on Terror, doesn't it ?
While Leonidas is marching against the enemy, the Queen stays back in Sparta, undermined by an adversary of his husband who called himself a "realist" and refuse to hear anything about freedom. Sounds like the battle between the Clintonians and the Bushists, doesn't it ? Actually, the guy in question is a treator, paid by the Persians to undermine Sparta. It is, definitely, a metaphor of the liberals. Same ideology, same slogans, same political offensive to undermine the country during a time of war.
Xerxes, the King of the Persians, claims to be a God. At the end of the movie, when he is wounded, we actually see he is only a human. His throne is made by two golden bull, the sign of paganism in the Bible, and is crushing people with muslim dresses below. We could interpret this like Miller thinks islam is a fake religion, but a real totalitarism treating his followers like slaves. Xerxes himself is a not man, he is a half-man, half-woman, the opposite of the Spartans, whose men and women are really different like in normality. The half-man, half-woman character was already used by Mel Gibson to present the devil in the "Passion."
The Arcadians seem to be the Europeans "allies" like Italy and Spain who ask why Sparta is going to war without the approbation of the council (UN), and flee before the end of the fight like cowards.
The ugly monster, who appears to be the treator, is the definitive metaphor of France. When asked why he cannot join the Spartans, the ugly monster is told by Leonidas to stand up. The ugly monster cannot. Then he goes to the enemy, joining the Persians, Xerxes tells him : "Leonidas told you to stand up, I only ask you to kneel (islam means "submission" in arabic) and I wil offer you a life full of pleasures." In a tent full of homosexuals and lust, the ugly monster surrenders to cultural relativism, like France did a long time ago, and helps the foe, like France is doing during the Iraq war.
At the end, Spartans are surrounded by Persians. Leonidas tells the ugly monster to live forever with the shame of the betrayal. Then the Spartans last stand become a legend and a model of all the people of Greece. Custer Last Stand, anyone ? The narrator explains that the Spartans only wanted to be remembered. Alamo, anyone ? And Leonidas tells his men : "victory or death", like colonel Travis wrote to Sam Houston a his famous latter before the fall of the Alamo.
The people of Greece come together to fight the enemy. During the final battle, the Greeks defeat the Persians. In history, this victory saved the western civilization, because if Persians had been victorious, all the Greek culture, the basis of our western civilization, would have been destroyed (Xerxes threatens Leonidas to do so in the middle of the movie, and asks him to surrender, that he would not kill him but give him privileges, sounds like the "dhimmi" in islam).
The hidden message of "300" is all of this. America, stand up, don't withdraw if a corrupted council denies you the right to fight for your freedom. Always wonder what a free man should do in such a situation, and don't fall into cultural relativism, watch out for the treator who claims to be with you but support the enemy and don't hear the politicians who undermine your efforts in a time of war.
300 is definitely THE MOVIE OF THE WAR ON TERROR.

Can we avoid conflating Zoroastrian Persians at Thermopylae with the Iranians who were Islamized after Qadashiya? It's one thing to be anti-Islamic, or even anti-Iranian, but to slam their non-Islamic predecessors is bigoted, and pretty much sends a message that any Persians - including those who are not Muslims - are trash, and that their pre-Islamic heritage is looked at with the same jahaliya contempt with which the Arabs view it.
Iranian Muslims are our enemies. Persian Zoroastrians, Jews and Christians are not.
The enemies in this fight are those who perform atrocities such as suicide bombings, those who encourage such atrocities and those who finance or otherwise aid and abet such. Most reprehensible are those who teach little children that this is in any way an honorable thing. It is not. It is simply disgusting. The Saudi money may be behind this makes one wary of all things and all connections Saudi.
There is some reason to question our leadership in this respect. The 9/11 Commission Report takes great pains to address the issue of Saudi exits from the US, stating that there were no commercial or charter flights prior to September 13th that the commission had evidence of. Perhaps it's me, but I find the wording and the emphasis so measured as to be left with an impression that somebody there is covering their own bootie (see Section 10, p. 329 of the report). The footnotes bear the same guardedness in style, as if the precise wording would protect the authors if in case, for instance, somebody would later say "But I have evidence that PRIVATE flights were permitted during that time." Of course that's just being silly. Important Saudis would never stoop to using their own private aircraft but would prefer to use commerical or chartered flights, egalitarians that they are.
Isn't it just possible that Saudi money is funding the suicide bombers, supporting the indoctrination of innocent children, supporting the construction of one Islamic information center after another where none were desired or required and perhaps purchasing influence where their influence shouldn't be present at all?
The nut doesn't fall far from the tree. Prescott Bush, Dubyai's Granpaw, was hauled before Congress in the Second World War for trading with the enemy, to which he plead no contest. He was let off easily, but don't tell me he didn't know what he was doing.
Start dealing with the Saudi problem. Saudi Arabia is the engine behind all of these abominations.

Well said. One of the people in my office is Arab. And she is a Copt (Christian).
The Copts are heavily persecuted in Egypt by the Muslim majority.
A day or two ago, I was listening to a program where the 2000 people of the Bahai faith are denied identity cards in Egypt. They have to lie to get a card. There was a case in court where they were refused by Judge (and many men celebrating afterwards with shouts of "Allah Akbar").
