This court, of course, would complain about alleged human rights abuses against Muslims in non-Muslim states. It wouldn't say a thing about the discrimination, harassment, and worse that non-Muslims and women must endure in Muslim-majority nations all around the world today.

KUALA LUMPUR - Iran has mooted the idea of an international court focussing on Islamic human rights issues, a report said on Tuesday.Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroud, Iran’s chief of judiciary system, said during a visit to Malaysia that his country has formed a secretariat to look into the matter, the New Straits Times reported.
Mahmoud said discussions had also been held with Saudi Arabia.
“I am confident the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will also agree to the idea,” he was quoted as saying after his Iranian delegation met the Malaysian Chief Justice Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim.
Malaysia chairs the 57-member OIC.
Unlike the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, the proposed Islamic International Court would focus solely on human rights issues involving Islamic nations, Mahmoud said.
He added the court would also hear cases between Islamic countries and the West.

...what is disgusting is that none of them are protesting or supporting either the police or the military...they just show up every day , maybe hoping they get to go home in one piece...
.....just imagine such murders happening the Britain,Japan,Brisbane or such, people would certainly be patrolling the streets and would not stop searching until the killers were found...but the Muslims just seem content to show up every day and warily eye all moving and parked cars...but doing nothing...

The court was rejected for the wrong reasons. However, there are good reasons for rejecting "International" courts: They wouldn't work, and for the same reasons the UN doesn't work.
There are places on earth that call themselves 'nations' or 'states' or 'civilizations' that have no reasonable right to do so. No Islamically dominated region on earth is entitled to designate these names for themselves, since Islamic regimes do not rise to the definition of any one of these terms .. not to Nation; State or Civilization (which strictly speaking, is reliant upon a 'civil' domain .. a condition remarkably absent in totalitarian Islam.)
A civilized West came up w/a working civilization and the terms used to describe a civilization. A degraded Western p.c. enforcement has had barbarian hoards - quite wrongly - addressed as "civilizations".
Forget about "International Law" .. without nations - without civilization, it's a dangerous fantasy.
This would be the first internationalization of the ummah and islamic law. It would be the islamic counterpart of, and in contradistinction to, the International Court of Justice.
This will be the source of much grief for the West, as pronouncements, fatwas, judgments, decrees, and similar utterances will be given great and official weight in the islamic community of subscribing nations.
There will be a lot of mischief, all posing as legal and equal.

Someone needs to do a documentary like Al Gore's academy award winning fluff piece: Islamic America. It came to me as I was in Costco yesterday...if America was Islamic all of the women in Costco would be in burkas, accompanied by their sons,there would be no women working here, and none of the SUVs and mini-vans in the parking lot driven here by women would be here...and how many fewer vehicles would be on our roads, if under Sharia women couldn't drive? Imagine how our economy would shift, the products that would no longer be viable because women couldn't use them. And women couldn't take those Somali cabs in Minneasota because a woman can't be alone with a man...
