Iran has trained secret networks of agents across the Gulf states to attack Western interests and incite civil unrest in the event of a military strike against its nuclear programme, a former Iranian diplomat has told The Sunday Telegraph. Spies working as teachers, doctors and nurses at Iranian-owned schools and hospitals have formed sleeper cells ready to be "unleashed" at the first sign of any serious threat to Teheran, it is claimed.Trained by Iranian intelligence services, they are also said to be recruiting fellow Shias in the region, whose communities have traditionally been marginalised by the Gulf's ruling Sunni Arab clans.
Were America or Israel to attack Iran, such cells would be instructed to foment long-dormant sectarian grievances and attack the ex-tensive American and European business interests in wealthy states such as Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Such a scenario would bring chaos to the Gulf, one of the few areas of the Middle East that remains prosperous and has largely pro-Western governments.
The claims have been made by Adel Assadinia, a former career diplomat who was Iran's consul-general in Dubai and an adviser to the Iranian foreign ministry. They came as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, made a formal visit to Saudi Arabia yesterday in what was widely seen as an attempt to defuse growing Sunni-Shia tensions in the Middle East.

Well, I actually begin to wonder what exactly makes Iran an anti-Western government (which I guess to underline is the author's intention), according to the same author's definition of pro-Western.
It never ceases to amaze me how muslims lie, lie, lie... always lying, right to your face, lies, lies, more lies. And what gets me is that when they lie to other muslims it's no big deal, b/c the other muslim party is lying right back.

And anyway, where the hell is the voice of the world community condemning Iran for all this aggression?

Of course, I see it now, the US strikes the Iranian nuke program and Iran 'activiates' all these terrorists in the Gulf states and elsewhere in the world, attacking and killing completely innocent people --- and the world will, of course, blame us in response, because how DARE we strike the Iranian PEACEFUL nuke program.
And all the while, inwardly they will be breathing a sigh of relief that the US took out yet another big, bad world-wide threat, thanking their lucky stars that they didn't have to lift a finger in the process.
Typical and so very sad.
At home, Ahmadinejad is unpopular across the board in almost every category. The only exception is when it comes to foreign policy. Ahmadinejad has failed as a leader and is clinging to the only issue on which he has a shred of credibility. If he doesn't get a war, he will be laughed out of office, sooner and not later.
What's more, Iran does not have the capability to inflict heavy damage on either the Great Satan (the U.S.) or the Little Satan (Israel), so why not choose a new Satan (Sunni Muslims), who are much closer and less guarded. Besides, they occupy Mesopotamia and the Levant, to which some Iranians feel they have a historical claim. (But of course, so do Greece, Italy, France, and Britain, not to mention the current occupants.)
But even war may not help Mahmoud because he is inviting a huge catastrophe for the Persian people. Fact of the matter is, the Iranian youth have given up on Islam, and pay lip service to it only because they are compelled to do so, and they risk torture otherwise. I can not see widespread support among fighting-age Iranians to fight the Infidel on behalf of Allah.
One hopes that Iranian agents will be sure to strike at those corrupt Sunni regimes, the ones that have supposedly been "collaborating" with the Americans (but the use of bases in Qatar and Kuwait is done only because the ruling families believe that the presence of Americans protects them from the bigger neighborhood bullies -- Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, and not out of any love for Americans), and that regard the long-suffering Shi'a as "Rafidite dogs." Surely the Shi'a can figure out that what they really need to do is, at lon glast, to teach those Sunni running-dogs of Infidels a lesson by attacking their infrastructure, their built-up areas, and threatening Sunni Arab intreests. Besides, it's the Persian Gulf -- not the "Arabian" Gulf. Got that, boys?
There is no downside to hitting Iran.
1. Iran’s nuclear threat is reduced.
2. Sleeper cells in America make the electorate aware of what’s going on.
3. If a regional war in the Middle East erupts, OPEC is gone and the Saudi’s starve Iran by dropping oil prices.

Scroll down to the bottom, and you will read post after post of her referring to Champ, and she just won't shut up! I refuse to engage her any further, and I was hoping you would remove her posts -- and -- that you would consider banning her from this site as she brings down the moral and spirit of why we are here in the first place.
She takes things way too far because I dared to call this woman a -- forgive me -- a "bully, and now she has bashed me up one side and down the next because of it.

Contrary to widespread popular belief, I am not the only, nor even the main, enforcer at this site. I do very little of it. But I often see people complain about having their posts removed, posts of whose existence I was unaware. This doesn't mean that I don't agree with such removals, but that since the postings were removed without my even noticing them, that I have no way of judging. There are several people who can do the removing. In this case, since apparently Robert has had some contact with the poster, he is the one to whom I would address complaints. But I'll pass this on.

Are we going to attack Iran's nuclear facilities BEFORE they get the bomb? Or are we going to wait for them to have the most powerful weapon ever invented, and then counterstrike after NYC is in rubble?
I prefer the former scenario. If you hate America you're probably hoping that we will do nothing but issue stern sanctions through the UN. The whole UN thing is nothing more than a distraction and stall tactic by our enemies. Nobody with half a brain thinks that Iran is not openly developing a nuclear arsenal, and nobody with half a brain believes that talk/negotiations/words can ever stop them.

I dunno about that one.. I for one am over it. I don't consider any of them "civilians" in the same sense as the victims of 9/11 for example.
Their "civilians" are quite happy to come to our countries and start mosks. I say they are the enemy.
Too many people died for freedom in World War II.
So why should we spare this latest enemy? Sparing them would render meaningess the deaths of World War II.
Remember.. every inch we give.. every word of their taquiyya that we buy into.. only serves to embolden them.
They are truly the BORG. They know only one thing..
Wonderful news in that this will give American pilots additional target practice after Iran is a smoking crater.

The sooner we have a real war with the islamic word the better ourchances for unmitigated success. All we must do is fight with the necessary brutality.
They speak the language of violence. That is the only language they understand.
I am not a blooodthirsty savage here but I know they read their blood-drenched manifest called the koran.
They are bloodthirsty killers. The only way to overcome them is to demonstrate resolve. Resolve means willingness to stomach brutalities committed by OUR side.
