The Islamic Jihad (Holy War) movement vowed on Saturday to continue rocket attacks against Israel following reports that residents were leaving the southern Israeli town of Sderot.Islamic Jihad spokesman Daoud Shehab told reporters in Gaza quoting the Israeli daily of Maariv that some 54 families were leaving the Israeli city of Sderot as a result of rocket attacks.
"The departure of some 54 families from Sderot is one fruit of the increasing resistance against the Israeli aggression in West Bank and Gaza Strip," said Shehab.
The city lies a kilometer from the northeast of Gaza Strip and is the target of home-made rockets launched by the Palestinian militant groups.
Israel and the Palestinians agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza Strip last November, but some factions, mainly the Islamic Jihad, continued rocket attacks in response to Israeli military actions in West Bank.
"The Israeli aggression against our people needs continuing responses," Shehab said.
The spokesman also criticized Palestinian calls to stop firing rockets for fears of Israeli retaliatory reactions.
"Those who are not satisfied by the resistance acts are asked to show us how they will protect our people," he said.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility on last Wednesday for firing five Qassams in Southern Israel, two in open fields near Sderot, one in Negev and two in south of Ashkelon.
On last Thursday, The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) ended its five-day large-scale arrest operation in the West Bank city of Nablus after detaining some 11 Palestinian militants for interrogation and killing one elderly Palestinian man.

The Palestinians must be made to understand that their election of a terrorist Hamas government legitimizes any and all retaliation against them as an acceptable form of retaliation against institutionalized terrorism.
Those who support Islamic terrorism can piss and moan all they want. Supporters of jihad must be seen as entirely unacceptable to all nations that intend to maintain any semblance of moral authority in the global community.

There is no "infrastructure" for terrorism. Infrastructures are found in modern, advanced, industrial societies. What the Salafi/Wahabbi terrorism has IS the Qoran. It is the Qoran that is their infrastructure. Only when that is destroyed can the war on terrorism be won. That is why the Afghan and Iraqi and Mindanao, and Somalia wars are a waste of time. For each rocket, draw a circle with a radius 500m longer than the previous one. When the circle enters Gaza, start leveling buildings which falls withing each circle.
After 20 rockets, the circles will have a radius of 10km which essentially equals the range of the qassam rocket. No more rockets landing in Israel proper.
You're right, Patrick. The jihadist ideology needs to be defeated more than a physical infrastructure. This site and others like Faith Freedom International (http://www.news.faithfreedom.org/) are key forces in the battle.

I think Mr. Spencer has disproven the thesis that Muslim terrorism is blamable solely on those extremist versions of modern-day Islam. That's Stephen Schwartz's contention, and his aim is to exculpate other schools or sects of Islam, including of course his own, Sufiism. The majority of Muslims all over the world do not identify themselves as Salafi or Wahhabi, but they approve of the terrorism, and we should beware of letting them off the hook.
The MSM really won't make clear to its viewers is the real rammifications of Hammas' electorial victory. The Majority voted for a Party platform calling for Israel to be destroyed. Of course, this whole issue is rooted in Islamic doctrines re Dar-al-Isalm. Roughly 50% of the Jewish people in Israel are descendants of Jews who fled Muslim countries in the Mideast to be in a Jewish State. That's a no-no as per Dar-al-Islam. The truth is that if all the Jews in Israel were only those who fled from the Muslim Mideast the Jewish State would have to be annihilated as per Muslim doctrines.
The difference between Zionism and Islam is that the Jews just want a piece of real estate that their ancestors once held before Muhammad even existed, and Islam wants to dominate the whole world. Make no mistake of it, the Jews in Israel would suffer the same fate as the Negro Africans in Darfur if they did not have military force to keep the Muslim "victims" at bay.

I think that the way Israel deals with its Palestinian enemies must make the Palestinian jhadists laugh. They love the stupid rule evidently in place: Palestinians can shout “Death to Israel” and kill Israelis at random with missiles but the Israelis must try to go after only the individual terrorists responsible. What a joke to jihadist that see this as an amazing weakness and as funny as the idea of ever letting Israel coexist.
It is well known that in Game theory the best overall simple strategy for effectively deterring an adversary is Tit-For-Tat (google it). Israel need only fire missile for missile at a Palestinian city randomly directed in response. Of course, moronic Europeans – whom Muslims plan to totally dominate fairly soon - would jump up and down in outrage. Would the bleeding hearts of the world endeavor to get UN or EU sanctions against Israel? I like the way you think, Marvin. Do all the razing by walking in barrages of artillery fire so as to ensure that no Israelis are put at risk.

WHen you have terrorist prisoners, do not release any..or at least not until you get your own POWs returned....or have you forgotten about them....of course they are probably already dead...all the more reason never to release terrorists pOWs...
