Obama: "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people"

Never mind the victims of the "Palestinian" people who were killed while going about their business in buses and restaurants. Nobody is suffering more than they are. Nobody. Never mind the non-Arab Muslims who are being killed by Arab Muslim jihadists in Darfur. Never mind anyone else. No one is suffering more than the poor, pitiable Palestinians, who have turned greenhouses into terror tunnels and synagogues into jihad bases.

Hmmm...

Much was made on Daily Kos of Obama's speech to AIPAC. How the USA is being influenced by foreign interests, and similar things bordering on the Stormfronters' ZOG (Zionist Owned/Occupied Government) Hypothesis.

But now... if AIPAC is so powerful--how can Mr. Obama even say such things as the above?! If the "Israel Lobby" is so adept at "silencing all dissent to the Right-Wing Zionist Party Line(TM)", how did it let such a thing leak?

It's the wall of reality all conspiracy theories run into: the inability to explain why the conspirators have done so little, relative to their power, to silence those who have unmasked their conspiracy. Those "martyrs for the truth" fail to explain why they have not actually been martyred. If "Bushitler" were just half as bad as the moonbats routinely say he is, we wouldn't hear them every day say how bad he is. If Israel were so evil, powerful and merciless as portrayed, the world would be buying Israeli oil from Arabia, not Saudi oil from Arabia.

"The world wants to be deceived; let it, then, be deceived." But I add: I'm not going to be taken with it if I can help it.

Barack Obama, like his mother, never met a Muslim he didn't like or didn't sympathize with.

The obvious Darfur omission on his part should be rammed down his throat by everyone who can read, write and speak. At the rate he's going, he will be completely irrelevant in a matter of months.

Clinton need only keep her mouth shut 'till 2008 to secure the Democratic nomination.

I dont. I dont want a single cent from the European Union (or the USA for that matter), going to help these Arabs who invaded Jerusalem in 637AD. So, never their land - a lie.

Bleed them to death, the parasites.

Israel should wipe out the Palestians in the West bank and Gaza strip.

"Obama: "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people""

Obama: I am not a Muslim, I just play one in DC.

...Obamas Muslim heritage is starting to ooze out (even though he may deny it)....

...If the Palestinian people are suffering, it is because they choose to do so....just as they have done since they have been around....

....perhaps Obama should spend some time in one of the villages that receive Palestinian rockets...or he should walk along the Gaza checkpoints with a jacket with a big America flag proudly embroidered on the back....or he should wear said jacket in Gaza without an armed escort....while he is there, he should visit the recent Israeli repair job in Jeruselam, wearing the same jacket.....and shout out "USA USA USA"
...he is sure to see some Palestinian love...

well well... looks like the muslim in obama is starting to show through huh? that's a good thing -- show the American people what you're REALLY about obama. might win you the fruitcake nutbat vote, but there is no WAY it'd win you the presidency.

Barack Hussein Obama,

I have read that when you were teaching law you used to open up each class with a phrase something like: "What's this case really about?" Maybe it is time to examine "palestine", taking such an approach?

Why don't you start by opening up that Koran you've got hanging around somewhere, Barack? And the other Islamic texts? Why don't you review sharia law and observe how it is implimented in various countries? Why don't you compare these things to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?

Then examine historical facts and, most importantly, the case regarding Islam versus the United States in all its historical and current reality? From Thomas Jefferson and the Barbary Coast on forward?

And once you've done that, ask yourself: "What's this case called palestine really about?"

I challenge you to do so, so that you might have an actual informed position.

Abe

So nobody suffers more than the palestinians,eh?
Why is that? Could it be it's because since 1948 they have stubbornly refused to admit that they lost a war to Israel? Could it be that they have allowed themselves to be puppets, stooges and flunkies for their Arab and Persian neighbors? Could it be that the "leaders" they have had since day one have been nothing more than criminals, thugs and parasites on a colossal scale? If the answer to any or all of these questions is yes than the palestinians have only themselves to blame. Rather than integrate into the ummah or live peacefully in Israel these poor, suffering victims have made themselves a disrespected rabble that kills, burns, bombs and rapes with impunity-even when given territory like in Gaza look what happens-a disaster. Please, let us not shed any tears for the supreme losers of the ummah-not even their "brothers" have much love or respect for them. Why should we?

This is disturbing, but it disturbs not merely because of his misappehending the nature of the dispute, and his apparent ready acceptance of the notion that the local Arabs (many of them exactly one or two generations away from descendants in Egypt, Iraq and present-day Jordan who entered Mandatory Palestine, in far greater numbers, as unchecked and illegal Arab immigrants, all through the Mandate and even in the decade before the Mandate was established, drawn by the new economic activity that came from the enterprise and industry of Zionist pioneers, than did Jews for whose "Jewish National Home" the Mandate for Palestine was created in the first place (as other mandates provided for the Arabs, already bountifully provided for -- and partly as a result of which the Arab League now has 21 Arab members, and does not need another).

It disturbs because it shows an unwillingness to stand back, and take in new information about the nature of Islam, new information about the observable behavior of Muslims, not merely against the West, but against Christians in the southern Sudan (with 1.8 million victims), or against Buddhists in southern Thailand, or against Hindus in Kashmir, as well as in India itself, and within Pakistan and Bangladesh. It means that Obama apparently has not grasped the nature of Islam, the nature of the duty of Jihad, nor has he thought he has a duty to study the nature of Islam, as do all the Presidential candidates, and not to be satisfied with pious wishes, or sentimentality of the People-Are-the-Same-the-Whole-World-Over variety.

He disappoints, terribly. And if he further reveals a misunderstanding about Islam, whatever his personal appeal, he has to be opposed. For it is precisely that personal appeal, if yoked to the wrong wagon, that could make him more dangerous. Bush is also yoked to the wrong wagon -- the wagon of nonsense about a "war on terrorism" and about a "religion of peace" that has been "hijacked by extremists" and so on, and about the need for Americans to sacrifice to bring peace and prosperity -- two impossible goals, but in trying to obtain them the American govenment is squandering lives, money, materiel, morale -- and two goals not worth attaining, for it is the very opposite, the sectarian and ethnic fissures, that if they remain untamed are the best way, at present, to divide and demoralize the camp of Islam.

He has either been ill-advised, or has not taken the trouble to study, or perhaps that Muslim father, of whose existence one did not wish to make much, assuming that perhaps he, Barack Obama, was in fact more like Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Ibn Warraq or Wafa Sultan and had thought deeply about what is wrong with Islam, and gave some promise of being able, as others might not be, to articulate the goals of those who wish not to be victims of an Islam, and a Jihad, on the march, and not only or mainly through that "terrorism" about which so many prate, and overlook the Daw'a and the demographic conquest.

It's a bad sign.

'Obama backs relaxed restrictions on Palestinian aid.' Well sure, I too think the Palestinians should be able to help those it finds deserving and in need.

Whats' that, they want to GET aid? Lets take a look here.

Kassams still being airmailed to Israel;

No apparent shortage of suicide suspenders;

Not much action in Paliwood so the extras for the 'cast of thousands' may be having trouble making their Actor's Guild dues;

Didn't the 'House of Saud Benevolent and Explosive Testing Division' just slip them a couple of million not that long ago?

Sorry boys, better check back when 'Bama is prez.

As with most government/political organizations, on a balance of probabilities they would just spend it foolishly anyway.

Obama's full name is Barak HUSSEIN Obama. His father is a Muslim and he himself grew up as a Muslim.

Well, this brings up two questions:

Is Barack "Ears" Obama merely parroting the expected Democrat line?

OR

Is Obama speaking from his sub-concious Islamic heritage?

CONSCIENCE

I'm not really a bad speller, just a hurried writer.

Here's to hoping that Obama and Hillary both destroy each other by the time the primaries arrive, so that a saner Democrat can rise to the top. Maybe Richardson, or someone like that.

And while Tancredo seems to be getting nowhere, hope that Newt gets to the top, although Rudy ain't bad either. Just sink McCain. Romney, with his surveillance of mosques, isn't too bad, but he could easily be a mediocre prez, if the Salt Lake Winter Olympics of 2002 was anything to go by.

I think Mr. B. Hussein Obama understands Islam juuuust fine.

I'm wondering, does he get the Presidential nomination (and Presidency, since Bush and his team have demolished the Republican base), or Vice Presidential nomination?

Either way, Hillary better stay alert. I can imagine Obama nominating Ellison to fill the "untimely" vacancy.

Barak Hussein Obama is unelectable on the basis of his name alone -- and the Dem leaders know this. (Assuming they aren't too much dumber than I think they are).

So if the Dems can concentrate the entire debate and voter base into a contest between Obama and Hillary, Hillary inherits the Obama crowd by default.

I don't even want to speculate about what a Hillary presidency would do to the world with this war in progress.

Gives me the chills.

Can Obama clear this comment up for me?

Is Obama talking about 'ALL' Palestinians?

Or, is he talking about the Palestinians that were kicked out of Jordan when King Hussien took their land and assets?

Or, is he talking about the Palestinians that are in refugee camps in Lebanon that were created by the Lebanese and Syrians and are not allowed to work, go to school, or vote?

Or, is he talking about 'only' the Palestinians that are around Israel that the world wants us to focus on and forget the rest?

Afro-Americans are so BIG on heritage, I find it surprising that Afro-Americans can call on 'their' heritage but another country and people like the Israelis are not allowed to have a heritage to keep and to claim as their own.

"although Rudy ain't bad either"

Guliani is weak on immigration and second amendment rights, both of which are major national security issues.

Duncan Hunter has a much better track record on both, plus he has a son who served two tours as a Marine in Iraq (one tour in Fallujah).

Those who control the Republican party - who are old-style liberals - posing as conservatives - support "moderate islam".
Those who control the Democrat party - who are old-style leftists - posing as liberals - support "radical islam".
The USA is doomed...

Hugh: "He has either been ill-advised, or has not taken the trouble to study, or perhaps that Muslim father, of whose existence one did not wish to make much, assuming that perhaps he, Barack Obama, was in fact more like Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Ibn Warraq or Wafa Sultan and had thought deeply about what is wrong with Islam.."

What does that mean - "one did not wish to make much"??

Why on earth would one "not wish to make much" about the likelihood of something that you yourself have practically made a household word - namely the issue of "filial piety"?

Obama is proud of his Muslim brother. Both his father and grandfather were Muslim. Can one even imagine how emboldened and invigorated Muslims would be if the son and brother of a Muslim were actually elected to the White House?? Why would one not wish to "make much" about something like that while we are in the middle of a likely decades long war with Islam? Are we not to appreciate the psychology of the enemy at all?

And where was there ever any evidence that Obama was even remotely like Ali Sina? What has the man ever accomplished that could possibly override the most glaring fact that we are barely a few years into a decades long struggle with Islam and for some totally inexplicable reason, Americans are losing their collective minds over this man just because, as Bush so refreshingly said, he happens to be black and "articulate"? It's insane. I'm sure he's a "nice guy" (oh - and articulate!). But what does that have to do with this life or death civilizational struggle that we find ourselves confronting?

I think you are overboard on Hillary.
She will have a pass from the media to open up a can of whoop-@$$ on any threat to the US, including militant muslims (moderate or fanatical). The media will have to sit on their thumbs and announce the body count.
Hillary is twice as smart and ten times as vicious as her husband, and we already know she can dispose of her enemies...I think one of them ended up dead in a D.C. park, didn't he?
I think we could use a mean-spirited lady like that in the White House, especially since she can show how compassionate she is and shed a tear just before she vaporizes Mecca.

W.C.

Feel compassion for these pals? You got to be joking, Obama. I feel nothing for these pals I feel more compassion for the pigs and dogs, who must endure living in west bank and Gaza with these so called Palestinian, savages. No, Obama the only people I feel compassion as refugees is for the Tibetans who were forced to leave their own country, the Armenians, who faced genocide from the Turks, the Hindus who were forced to leave the Kashmir valley, the Bhais, Jews, and Christians of Iran, the Assyrians of Iraq, the Christians of Nigeria and Sudan, and many more refugees from Islam and dictatorships. Pals have not proven them selves worthy of any compassion or monetary aid.

The media loves him. When he was at 15% in polls he was being interviewed about everything as if he was already the winner. The news media reporters love his charm. His wit. They elected him already.

His record? Did they look? He didn't vote for the war? Did he vote at all against it? Was he present when the vote happened? What about that church? Any media look into it? Is he even a US citizen? Does he have citizenship in and loyalty to any other countries? He lived for years overseas, his formative years. Did he receive the education needed to love the US? Beyond all other countries? Hold it's interests higher?

All of the speeches I've heard make him sound like a socialist.

His church makes him sound like a Black Panther wanna be.

An his name makes him sound like a muslim. Still. When did he leave that faith? He has high regard for his father, a muslim? His father must look at life differently than most in the US if he is muslim. His mother obviously had no qualms with islam. Does he? How could both parents be OK with islam and he not be also?

Plus his experience?

Plus his first book. That alone is enough.

Reject.

Reject.

Reject.

Caroline, according to Joe Biden, he's 'clean' too.

W.C.

Interesting take on Senator Clinton. If it is at all true, that would put her well ahead of the curve in my book. It is entirely possible, given the fact that she will have the opportunity to correct all the "mistakes" made by Bill's administration, mistakes as pointed out in hindsight by the conservative base, in retrospect of course. I agree that we should never underestimate the value of the "Monday morning quarterback".

At this point, could she really be any worse than Bush has systematically proven himself to be? We shall see, because the nomination is her's to lose. Obama is a "dead man walking" already, and thankfully so

Only time will tell.

Regards,

awake

That Hillary may be more vicious than Bill is a plausible notion. That she is smarter seems less likely, frankly, rather unlikely.

Be that as it may, regarding the war, a commander who is single-mindedly in pursuit of their own personal power is a very different thing from a commander who is in pursuit of national predominance.

Hillary has, as far as anyone can tell, always looked overseas for her inspirations in political matters -- as is characteristic of her generation and background.

And her track record of political utterances suggests that she will act however she thinks she must to win approval -- i.e. to gain power.

Finally, she has made her distaste for the military very explicit.

Those factors, coupled with her enthusiasm for socializing the American medical industry, in the teeth of all the evidence that it would be catastrophic to do so, strongly suggest to me that Hillary's response to foreign aggression, particularly of the covert sort practiced by the islamists, would be very hard indeed to forecast.

What she might see as conducive to consolidating and enjoying her own personal power might have very little indeed to do with the interests of America or the rest of the free world, in confronting the islamist threat.

One must remember that there is little, if any, reason to believe that Hillary considers the free world to actually be free, or to place much value on freedom per se.

How such a mind set would understand the islamist threat is far from clear.

Hillary has already expressed a desire to place restrictions on what one can make available (and I'm talking political commentary here, not child-porn) on the internet. What does she really think about the Danish cartoon riots, or the appropriate answer to them?

I fear the worst.

There is in Hillary's history nothing that I have ever heard of that suggests that she is an advocate of freedom as such.

No. America, in fact the world, needs leaders who, whatever their limitations and deficiencies, are committed to the value of freedom as such, and are willing to take up arms in its defence. Even the crudest most naive forms of American patriotism coupled to a bit of common sense will serve us well.

At best we need true lovers of freedom.

Freedom.

That is the core of the conflict.

Hugh, I liked Obama. He speaks well, opposed the Iraq war before the first shots were fired because he felt it could turn into a civil war.

He does have personal appeal, but I don't this he is misguided. I think he believes what he's smoking. From the psychological perspective, perhaps his upbringing has created a 'soft spot' for Islam and Muslims. He may have heard the endless litany of grievences from his ind hearted Father and Gramps. He could therefore be philoislamic.

Great. It wasn't a difficult diagnosis to make. But it is dangerous. Perhaps he looks at Islam as you would look at a child who is soft hearted but sometimes 'mis-behaves.'

You look at all of the canidates: from the right to the left, and only Osama speaks of the Palestinians with such softness. It is telling. This is no 'realistic' of the Hagel varient. Nor is this a Wilsonian Bush. Obama appears to be quite sympathetic to the Muslim plight. He was recently chastised by a Palestinian activist who chided him for his "conversion" to the pro-Israel cause. Perhaps his "zionist conversion" was a ploy to ingratiate himself in the election.

He is dangerous, blaming Bush for not spending enough time on solving the Israel-Arab dispute, blustering that he would have the time and would make the effort for "peace." Presumably, the first effort would be to ease the "travel restrictions" on the sainted Arabs.

There is a little seen picture on the net of Obama dining with the late Edward Said. Obama patiently listens at the foot of the Mr. Said. It's enough to turns one's stomach.

I'd rather vote for Hilary than Obama. Of course, I would only vote for Clinton on an empty stomach. Then I would have to be drugged.

What a lineup of dreadful pols we have. Draft Fred Thompson. Obama is dangerous exactly because he is smart enough to 'mostly' cloak his philo-Islamic bias.

This is not a message of hate towards Obama. I like and respect him. He 'appears' broad minded, but I'm convinced my curbside psycological profile is correct. The only difference in opinion between Obama and the King of Jordan is that Obama must cloak his beliefs to get elected.

Obama: "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people"

Try Darfur, numbnuts.

Before anyone blames Israel for Gaza's plight and that of the Gazians, we should question why the countries supporting terrorists with weapons and training haven't instead poured that money into housing, infrastructure, jobs, hotels, and health care in Gaza?

Is it perhaps that they don't really care about the people, but solely about stifling them in suffering until they become human bombs against Israel? Gazians are a pawn in the Middle East game and it's not because of the US or Israel, but their own compadres who could care less about them.

Gaza could have been a haven for tourists, a place of prosperity and health. Saudi had the money to do it--why aren't they building there, instead of Mosques and Departments of Islamic studies and preschools and the CAIR and senators in the US?

Hillary Clinton is Satan in drag. She is a Marxist witch who will implement, with the help of the Democrats in Congress, every socialist policy imaginable. Read her stupid book "It Takes a Village". It's all about GOVERNMENT raising your children. She wants GOVERNMENT to provide substandard health care to everyone, everyone except people like herself; to provide daycare/indoctrination for your children (to prep them for the really good stuff that they'll learn in inferior GOVERNMENT schools.) She wants to redistribute income and punish profitable corporations by confiscating "excessive" profits. She is a race-baiter, a phony, a despicable hypocrite and GOVERNMENT is her god. She wants everyone but the elite class to be equally miserable, just like in the USSR.

God help us if Hillary becomes president, especially if Congress is controlled by Democrats. I shudder to think of the irreparable damage they would inflict on this country besides higher taxes and much, much bigger government. What qualifications does Hillary have to be president anyway? No more than Obama, she's just older and more obnoxious. I hope the next president is not named Clinton or Bush; I've had enough of both.

ARE THERE ANY BLACK AMERICANS WHO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE ISLAMISTS ?

Surely the black churches speak out.

There are some very good candidates for President.

Fiorello La Guardia.

Millicent Fenwick.

Henry Jackson.

Unfortunately, they are all dead.

.....and those in Darfur are for the most part....Black....

....come to think of it, I see no organizations purportedly around to support the issues of Black people crying out for those in Darfur..

...Once again Obama shows where he would place his support, if elected....

...He will drop out before the General election....

Obama is no Muslim. Obama is a member of the United Chuch of Christ, which means that he belongs to a modernist body that loves feminism, goddess worship, and homosexuality, and sees abortion as a sacrament.

Kepha Didn't you see that link to the church he attends?

The United Church of Christ
http://www.tucc.org/about.htm

Nobody suffers more than the believing women. - Aisha

It's the religion, stupid.

IF that is not his church, as was stated, please let me know.

According to this Obama did not vote against the war BECAUSE HE DID NOT VOTE at all.

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&session=2&vote=00237

biorabbi - great post. "Philoislamic". That's the word. And Kepha - no one said he was Muslim. That's not the issue. The issue is what biorabbi has most likely accurately diagnosed (and he's a bona fide doc from what I gather) as at least a latent propensity towards philoislamicism (something which is quite understandable also in terms of the tendency towards "filial piety" that Hugh has so frequently pointed out). Absent any other evidence that he he more along the lines of an Ali Sina or Hirsi Ali (and there has been zero evidence of such to date), the question is, to borrow from the title of another of Hugh's recent posts, "Why should we take a chance?" There's got to be some other good reason, in terms of substantive experience in executive matters at minimum, of which there is none, besides the superficial fact that he speaks well or appears earnest, to warrant electing him to the presidency of the United States at an historical juncture like this. This seems like a no-brainer to me. The fact that anyone actually thinks differently I actually attribute to a form of racism (in the sense of selecting on racial grounds), so that people would overlook something so ideologically critical in his background, merely because people would be so eager to see a black man elected to the presidency. There seems to me to be something unseemly in the undeserved adulation with which Obama has been embraced by both the MSM and the adoring crowds. It seems even weirder by contrast, that Mitt Romney is being simultaneously subjected to a great amount of suspicion on ideological grounds on the basis of being a Mormon, which is actually a variant of Christianity and whatever the historical association with polygamy, Romney has actually been married to the same woman his entire life, unlike Guiliani or McCain or Gingrich.
