Attentive Jihad Watchers will notice the absence of the banner for the DVD "Islam: What the West Needs to Know," which had been graciously sandwiched between Robert's latest book and the picture of Oriana Fallaci, RIP. Never fear! The DVD (which I produced and directed along with Bryan Daly) has been picked up by a distributor and will be available online and in stores this summer. I will be sure to keep the JW faithful apprised of future developments.
Great news Greg. Let me know where I can purchase. It'll make great Christmas/Hannukah, Ramadan (like I know anyone that celebrates Ramadan), birthday, anniversary, Barmitzvah etc. gifts.
Thanks Greg. Just received my copy here in South Africa. Using it to educate family and friends. They think I've got Islamisis or something, but after watching "Islam:What the West needs to Know" they start to look at things differently.
Greg
Does this mean Amazon no longer sells this?
Personally, I had bought this several months ago. It was good, although I think you could have imported more content from Jihadi rantings worldwide - be it MEMRI, Youtube flicks et al, and had your experts provide commentary on them. In fact, the only problem I had with it was that there seemed to be no link between the various quotes and footages, and the commentary that your guests were making. I'm not suggesting that it should have been flashy (although it looked to me like you went out of your way to ensure that it was anything but), but some direct commentary by Trifkovic, Shoebat, Spencer, Yeor and Araby would have been in order.
Are you looking to producing a sequel, or maybe another one like Obsession, sans its disclaimer about the majority of Muslims being moderate?
I bought 3 copies.
Its the best. Its the real inconvenient truth
I'm very glad to have my own copy. I've shown it to everyone in my family. I'm also glad to see that the Hilali-Khan Qur'an was the Qur'anic source for the documentary. It is criticized as a Wahhabist fraud by Islamophiles but in truth, parenthetical notes are based on Sahih Bukhari and often mirror the commentaries of Ibn Kathir. It is the only Qur'an I quote, although I also own NJ Dawood's.
Kudos to all who were involved in this. And kudos for the selection of experts. Not a drop of apologist blood in any of them.
Can it still be bought from Amazon?
I got a copy of --Islam: What the West Needs to Know-- just before the xmas holidays. I've watched more than a few times as of today.
I thought it was very well done and have ended up lending it out to quite a few friends. I think it may have opened the eyes of a few of them.
Well done, Greg!
I've bought three copies and it is amazing the stories I'm hearing from friends and family that just didn't realize what was going on. Thanks to everyone involved with it. I've been a longtime reader but this is my first post so while I'm at it let me just say thanks to everyone here who risks so much to expose the truth about the global jihad.
Oh, and what is surprising to me is how many of my friends and family didn't realize the connection to Sept 11, 1683.
I hope they are working on a sequel.
