UK: Schools allowed to ban face veils

Well thank God.

After many years of opposition, I am now in favor of school uniforms.

Good for the UK but Islam wont stop. They will keep trying until it suceeds.

I don't understand this. Surely full-face veils DO allow eye contact -- that's the only contact they do allow, isn't it? What is needed is human contact, which requires visual (full-face) contact, not just eye contact. I can see Islamic lawyers having a field day with this.

I know that your government minsters will talk about communication and security concerns as the primary drivers for this decision.

While I accept that there a sandgrain of truth in what they say...can you imagine the devastation on young muslima schoolgirls.

There will be muslimas...who's face will have never been seen by a teacher.

The teacher will think that this is a new pupil in the class...and the humilitation of being stared at by other pupils...I mean it's like being undressed in public.

The girls may lose all self confidence ....plus the freedom of not being stared at...this is a travesty.

I know that Allah SWT wants to test us ...but to be undressed in public in this way...I mean it's appalling.

I think muslims will want to appeal against this decision.

You want to cover your face? Move to an Islamic hellhole Naseem. Why do Muslims insist of destroying other people's values? No one is forcing Muslims to stay. Leave if you want to cover your face. Is that asking for too much to ask?

If we are to avoid another Lebanon on U.K. soil action needs to be taken now.
Strengthen the treason/sedition laws making it impossible for future coup attempts.(this will happen if critical mass is reached)
Stop all welfare benefits to non indigenous peoples.(I can't go to Paskistan and get my rent paid by the state why should they expect it here?)
Halt all immigration from Islamic/sharia states and make it very clear to existing muslim immigrants that if sharia is desired then the Umma is the place best suited for them.

There is a simple solution. Let the Muslim school girls move to a country that values covering their faces in school. They can vote with their feet. And why worry about their loss of self-confidence? What on earth would a Muslim woman ever need self-esteem for?

Also I was born on the wrong side of the wrong tracks.
The class system is alive and well in the U.K.
It's no where near as much a meritocracy as the U.S.

No matter what measures the government bring in to combat creeping sharia(which already exists in my wahhabi controlled area,see Dispatches-Undercover mosque in Derby,the state within a state shithead is literally 2 streets away)
Most politicians are oblivious because they live in Ivory towers and when they visit these ghettoes they think it's some sort multicultural disneyland..they gasp at the diversity and coo at the local imams.

I never thought I would say it but I think the BNP need a few seats in parliament to shake things up a little.
