World's first 'spinal transplant' carried out

Here's the story, from the Daily Mail.

I hope that politicians on both sides of the Atlantic, law enforcement officials, and liberal and conservative media figures will soon be lining up for this surgery.

There won't be enough spines or doctors to perform these transplants.

Ah ha! :)

I wouldn't hold my breath, Mr. Spencer. The people you mention are hopeless.

If you believe in the theory of evolution, most of our leaders evolved from jellyfish (no spines), not apes.

Along with spinal transplants - males will need transplants of some other vital parts.

Buchsbaum's classic "Animals Without Backbones" was long ago re-filed, taken out of "Zoology" and placed, more appropriately, under "Government and Political Science."

Invertebrate outrage!
Invertebrate slither in protest over disrespect joined by cave men in a show of solidarity.

For them to get those spines, Muslims would have to be donors. For the politicians to get to ask the Muslims for their spine donations, they'd have to develop... never mind!

Now all I we have to wait for is:

Worlds first 'brain transplant' carried out.

Thank you Robert. I needed that.

How does this have to do with Islam Robert?

Spine transplants? Pioneered by China no less?
Hmmmmm. The spine of a tough Chinese hoodlum or Uighur jihadi dead by a legally administered 9 mm. cerebral hemorrhage might be just what the doctor ordered for the typical Western leader. After all, you sure need spine to stand up to a totalitarian regime.

A creature does not need a spine to be intelligent, just look at the octopus.

Spinal transplant, all you need is a broom stick and lot of vasaline
