Jailed Tanzim head Marwan Barghouti called for the release of kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnston, who was abducted by gunmen in the Gaza Strip over a month ago. “I call for the immediate release of the journalist in the name of 10,000 Palestinian prisoners. Johnston is a friend of the Palestinian people,” Barghouti said.
