Barghouti, who serving multiple life terms in prison for involvement in attacks that killed Israeli civilians, says that the kidnappers of Alan Johnston has not chosen their target well: he's on their side.

Jailed Tanzim head Marwan Barghouti called for the release of kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnston, who was abducted by gunmen in the Gaza Strip over a month ago. “I call for the immediate release of the journalist in the name of 10,000 Palestinian prisoners. Johnston is a friend of the Palestinian people,” Barghouti said.
Alan Johnston is an infidel, so therefore he is not to be trusted by muslims, but then like so many reporters from BBC he his a dhimmi. l say keep the
reporter, one less walking around the Gaza is one less lier reporting
Marwan Barghouti has been referred to by more radical Muslims as not being "muslim enough"....although he has participated in attacks on Israel, he has advocated not attacking Israeli civilians beyond the Green Line.....
..be that as it may, a murdering terrorist claiming a western reporter "is on our side" says a lot....
Is Johnston thought to be alive at this point?
I read on the BBC, not long after he was 'taken', his family and friends telling us how he had really wanted to go to Gaza, how important it was to him to 'tell the Palestinian story', so he lived full time in Gaza.
I remember thinking, shouldn't opinions like those specifically disqualify him from being a news journalist there? Apparently not for the BBC.
Anyway, perhaps he has a real 'Palestinian story' to tell now, if he' still alive.
If he isn't, the BBC will certainly find a way to blame Israel.
At this point, I couldn't care less if he is dead or alive. I have the same level of sympathy for him as I have for the drunken fool who dies at the zoo after deciding it would be fun to climb into the orangutan cage.
After all this the media still doesn't realize their just a tool for the jihadis?

Well, I guess if we had any doubts about Johnston's allegiances, Barghouti has laid that to rest.
As if we needed any confirmation that ANY media or thier reporters are on thier side.
This Kidnapped fellow is probably helping his "captors" in any way he can....abligingly.

off topic, but....In America, things seem to happen that defy logic...
...In Atlanta, a black ghetto (hate the system, hate whitey) rapper (T.I. born clifford harris)was in the Fulton County Jail for a number of charges...somehow he arranged to be freed from his jail cell and was able to record a music video inside the jail....
...what an insult to the taxpayers and those trying to live a crime free life....
