The students and clerics of Islamabad's Red Mosque and associated madrassa have been operating increasingly outside the law. Emboldened by the lack of response from the Pakistani government, Maulana Abdul Aziz now issues an "ultimatum."

Islamabad (AsiaNews/Dt) – It [is] an ultimatum not a request: if within a week Sharia law is not enforced throughout the country than [sic] true Muslims “will islamify society on their own”. Maulana Abdul Aziz, Imam of the Lal Masjid Mosque and director of Jamia Hafsa Madrassah has said.
Speaking after Friday prayers to thousands of faithful, Aziz clarified: “If the government ignores our requests than we will have to enforce them ourselves”. The man then asked for the closure of “all brothels and gaming houses as soon as possible”, also adding in this case that “that aim may only be achieved thanks to the help of the Madrassah students”.
The Imam’s threats must not be ignored, because just days ago female students from the Madrassah directed by Aziz attacked a suspected brothel taking the women who lived within the house hostage.
Sources say that the Madrassah religious leaders are preparing a “list of impure places” to be forcibly shut down. The plan concluded Aziz, “is not limited to Islamabad. We will meet April 5th to decide on an line of action together with other good Muslims”.
Islamabad is such a hell-hole. It ranks near or at the absolute rock bottom of urban areas ever to exist over the course of world history.

Force is not peace. Naseem's remarks, or parts of them, are often revealing. Because they are not spoken, but written, we can ponder them at our leisure. And the same is true in corrupt Pakistan, with the rule over primitive millions by the zamindars (including Radcliffe-trained Pinky Bhutto, or others among the rich anglophone elite, who at first glance seem to Westerners to beoutwardly rational but upon closer familiarity turn out to be inwardly islamically-cripppled souls, such as cricketer Imran Khan),and again, for these people, the "answer" to their woes is in fact what, if they could only be made to understand aright -- but they won't unless we the Infidels understand aright first and do not cease to tell them of our understanding -- they would see as the cause of those selfsame woes -- Islam.
Now look at the second part of Naseem's remarks. They repeat her theme. Islam could, she thinks, be wonderful, but only if Western Man becomes gently islamized and manages -- how she does not know -- to somehow tame Islam, domesticate it, gentle it, make it what it has never been under the rule of real Muslims. Naseem is a racist, who thinks that Europeans, white people, advanced people (these are her thoughts, not mine) can bring to Islam something it needs. And this allows Naseem and the other Naseems of this world to think that the probem is not with Islam, but just with the dark-skinned non-Europeans who happen to have been islamized first. In Naseem's view, the Pakistanis, and the Afghanis, and the Iranians, and the Arabs, and all the others, just aren't the right people. What Naseem dreams of are, no doubt, blond and blue-eyed wuslims, accepting the Truth of Islam (could there, for Naseem, conceivably be another? could she ever come to believe that Islam itself, in its encouraging at every level and in every way the habit of mental submission, is the problem to which the only "solution" is less Islam, an Islam trimmed of everything that really makes it Islam, and for people such as Naseem, the only real solution are not her race-based fantasies of being rescued by whole populations of white European rescuers, knights in their shining armor, but rather in going beyond Ahamdi Islam and out of Islam, and its nonsense and confusion and contradictions and inculcated aggression and violence toward Infidels, toward in the end all those with whom Muslims may disagree and considre to be less than Muslims (as the Sunnis with the Shi'a, as the Sunnis and Shi'a with the Ahmadis, who in Pakistan are, officially,, not considered to be true Muslims).
Naseem will never be able to comprehend or accept this. That's fine. It is up to us, the Infidels, to comprehend the psychology of Muslims. And Naseem, the Ahmadi, and Abdullah, the Sunni Muslim who has been dropping in here recently, are two specimens, and their mental states laid out here for inspection and dissection.
To me it seems the Muslims only know of one type of pond to live in that’s a muddy one as long as all the people are muddy in its equality, guess its better than living in a dry pond. Sometimes tribes in Jungles feel the same, they might not have TVs,shoes or shops but they are happy with their lives even if it shortens their life span.
There are other ways to build a society you can still believe and have faith and stick to your own principles outside of a democracy. But because this region is only good at being Islamic that is all that is understood that is all the people understand. Even when the Pakistani’s arrive in the UK or have lived here for some time they still make a fuss about democracy and other religions because that is what their system and beliefs taught them, their attendance to Mosques does not help it only further calls for separation instead of integration, especially how they are taught if not radicalised.
Sometimes the people who don't listen should build their own ponds and stop building bridges to clear ones and dragging the dirty water across when they do and the clear pond species should close the path before they start thinking its acceptable to all live at a lower level as long as everyone is in the mess.
Let me see - gambling and brothels are bad, yes, but is it worse than murder? I would say - no. And what does sharia law give to these groups of muslims - it gives individuals the ok to murder those who do not meet their idea of what should be ok and not ok. So they just want the ok (in their little minds) to just go out and murder those who are not meeting their idea of what is ok and not ok. The taliban did the same thing - individual men just meting out justice, 'honor killings', so the men did not have to pay the price of murder. All they have to say is 'honor killing'.
What I didn't realize is that there was any change in the laws over there in Pakistan. They have always just shrugged off the torture and/or murder of women by saying it was an 'honor killing'. They probably just want to include some men in these murders so they can write it off as the men not obeying "god's" law.
I read through the posts on this board and notice the great amount of disgust towards this and knowing that this is just more of the same. Why is it that so many of our citizens are 'getting it' while our politicians are not? It is our politicians that will gleefully hand over some more millions to this crap hole of a country, along with other muslim countries, while at the same time trying to hold back money to our own troops over there.

I'd bet any amount of money I'd ever make the Paki leadership wants desperately to enforce shariah law throughout the whole country and in India as well. Thy just can't comply with the Imam coz the Imam is calling for jihad too quickly; they need more jizyah before they can meet his expectations.
What's shocking is that the West is trying to coddle Pakistan despite the fac t that they don't have the oil weapon. Closing down brothels in Pakistan isn't going to solve their problems. The problems of Pakistan, as with all Islamic socities, is spiritual bondage to the twisted ideology of Islam. Brothels are the least of their problems.

I think Aziz will succeed. Thats an original and very scary thought. Whatever Germans do, they carry out thoroughly, and way beyond the doctrines assumptions. I can visualise the German army rolling over the ME, destroying and killing all those they consider as not 'True Muslims', ie ethnically pure German Muslims.

I doubt that Mr Spencer or Mr Fitzgerald are putting them up. But I do partly agree with you - they're tough to believe, but the 'non-crackpot' Muslims you allude to only seem to be that with us, but internally, there's not telling where they're coming from. And given the number of terrorists who were always thought to be 'nice guys', we shouldn't be assuming that the average Muslim we run into is actually opposed to the supremacy of Islam.
There have been other Muslim posters here, but generally, they've been taquiya and tu quoque practitioners, which is why they got banned pretty quickly for derailing threads. Even Naseem is somewhat of a pretender in stating that she opposes Jihad, but her statements that she wants Islam to peacefully take over and us to peacefully convert is revealing enough. Abdullah is a fresh exception - he openly advocates beheading apostates, and waging war on the Kuffar - unlike other Muslims who try and deflect attention towards the persecution of Muslims by Israel, the Timothy McVeight Christian terrorists, et al. Which is why there have been so many here, myself included, who've appealed to Hugh never to ban him.
