Ok...I know you're all going to lash out at me for this, but I do think we need to have dialogue with some of these rogue leaders. I'm sure Syria would prefer to be in bed with us, rather than a third world country like Iran. Chavez hates us because Bush won't invite him to the White House. Regardless of our stance on various issues, if two leaders get along and like each other, it would enable us to have better relationships with these rogue countries and less chaos within our world. Part of the reason we are so hated is because Bush is stubborn and refuses to have anything to do with leaders or countries he doesn't approve of. I voted for him, but he has screwed up in more ways than I can count.

We also have a history of policing ourselves and many of us have a healthy suspicion of organized law enforcement as well as guvment. I think the events we have seen since 9-11 show that our suspicions are and have been well founded. I have been listening to police spokes mouths for decades and they always say they can’t comment on an ongoing investigation that is unless an islamist is involved, in that case they rush right out before an investigation has begun to tell us what it isn’t. I'm trying to say that I think we should attempt to form some sort of relationship with these rogue countries to keep them away from each other. I'm not saying we should be best friends with them like we are with Israel and the UK, but have a working relationship like we do with Saudi Arabia or Egypt, etc. We don't necessarily agree with the regime of Saudi Arabia, but we aren't enemies either, thus keeping them more on our side than Iran's. It would be better for us to have a stable relationship with some of these countries than to have all of them joining together and ganging up against us like Iran, Syria and Venezuela. Now do you see what I'm trying to convey? We can't afford another war until we pull out of Iraq.

That would have been an act of great courage and an act in the interest of the free world. However, it it is becoming apparent that she is on a partisan trip that is not in the interests of anything.
