Proud Infidel, I am reading 'Legacy of Jihad' and have found writings of muslims throughout the ages who say it is just a form of jihad if other muslims within dar al islam get killed.
This is why I say that islam does nothing but breed sociopathic murderers. Most civilizations take steps to set up laws, to capture, give them a trial and mete out justice accordingly - not islam. They write it off as jihad. And the 'moderates' are as quiet as can be about this. No riots, no marches, no nothing - not even from the 'moderates' that don't reside in muslim lands since they are more likely to be killed by jihadists in those lands, I suppose, if they make a peep.
They are more concerned with making sure the women are covered and controlled, and the women are more concerned about the prospect their husband might have, or meet, another woman who could be another wife. And they say we have a decrepit society.

All I wanna know at this point is when are westerners going to just accept that encouraging the breaking up of Iraq along Sunni-Shia-Kurd lines is a very good thing. The republicans are still delusionally trying to get the groups to play nice with each other and the deomcrats are acting as if splitting up iraq would be catastrophic, proof that it was terribly wrong to ever bring down Saddam in the first place.

It means all these nations are much less of a threat to the kuffar and it some cases, i.e. Nigeria and Pakistan, the remaining islamist entities would be just a laughingstock, so ineffective as to be inable to bully a country like Tahiti.
Equally important, some REAL humanitrian causes will be pursued. It begs the question what could be more satisfying than empowering Iraqi Kurds and Christians, Darfurians, Igbo Christians, Iranian Persians (REAL persians, not the mullas who abuse their heritage), Southern Sudanese, Sindhis (including exiled Sindhis) and Balochis, Indonesian Christians and Balinese, Malaysian Chinese and Orang Asli and the Algerian Amazigh. When giving all these peoples their freedom and basic human rights becomes more immportant than "aid to africa" and "aid to the middle east" bullsh**, to Westerners, then we can claim to be making a real difference in the world, and protecting ourselves from jihad at the same time.

You may be right they will be ordered to do that it first but most of our military has spent time in the box and have a much different view of Islam than our DC based PC leadership. They may “accidentally” leave gaps in protection if it ever comes to that. Personally I don’t think it will. In a few short years our young soldiers will be the leaders. What's to like? I won't waste time and space listing the reasons I hate islam, but I imagine I hate it for the same reasons you hate it.
How many horrifying stories to we need to hear from Muslim countries -- from schoolgirls forced back into an inferno because they fled without their abayahs, to bombings and burnings of girls' schools, through all the beatings, hangings, and honor killings -- before we stop being surprised that Muslim ideology views women and girls as livestock? Honestly, even those Muslims firmly planted in secular Western countries will look at this incident as no more worrisome than an unfortunate accident in a feedlot.

I read that outstanding book by Dr. Bostom and completely concur. It's really a must read because there you read it as the Muslim religious authorities wrote it themselves, as well as historical accounts of those who witnessed it back then.
Nothing has changed, still the same intolerant cruelty Islam has always been.
