The Palestinianization of Europe

Again, just like I said earlier, all I really have ot say is:

You know what REALLY sucks about all this? The number of Westeners who are convinced the Palestinians ar ethe way they are because the Jewish *settlers* deprived these Arab *Palestinians* of their ancestral homeland. They remain convinced Palis act like they do not because of Islamic leadership but coz the country of Palestine, their homeland, was robbed of them by the Israelis. And that the creation of Israel was reprehensible because it stole land form Arab Palestinians which was terrible because it's wrong to create a Jewish state on religous grounds as Israel was. Hence, the Middle East would be more benign and peaceful with no Israel. ANd yeah, these views are esp prominent on the college campus I live on; and no, those who object to Israel's existence on "religous grounds" don't have much of anything to say on if the existence of Pakiland was wrong for the same reason.

Oh yeah, and thank god for sites like Jihadwatch, Faithfreedom, Secular Islam, Anti CAIR, DanielPipes.org, Msulim World Today and MEMRI. And blogs like Atlas shrugs, Melanie Phillips, Fjordman and Little Green Footballs. They maybe all we have to stop us from becoming an idiot box.

Reading Bat Ye’or makes my head spin; there is no other writer who communicates so graphically, the mechanics of the Islamization process in non-Muslim lands. Part of that process is to soften up the intellectually weak and gullible by revising religious history: Jesus was a Palestinian Arab and the Jewish and Christian prophets primogenial Muslims — egad!

Palestinianism makes it possible for the Europeans to absolve themselves of the Holocaust and continue with their centuries-old persecution of the Jews cloaked behind a contemporary, politically-correct “human rights” movement. And the entire nexus is fueled and lubricated by Arab oil.

Orwell could not have dreamt up a more Orwellian scenario.

General Petraeus today, of Iraq war..

...meaning billions more $$$ at a time we need instead to be initiating the "Manhatten project" to develop new energy sources suggested by Hugh, before America too is ".. chained to the Arab-Muslim world and cannot disengage or change direction..", as Bat Ye'or says.
Our leadership, however, appears bent on Palestinianization of American policy.

Bat Ye'or's analysis on a psychological level of the mind-set of Dhimmitude is unparalleled.. she captures the essence of this (hideous) phenomenon. I think her texts are a must read.

Another chilling observation of hers: "This situation is not limited to Great Britain, but maybe because it was one of the proudest and most powerful countries in Europe, one of the three major victors of World War II, that this wilful decline and abasement are so traumatic.." Yes, how true and how sad. Any number of countries would have naturally looked for leadership from Great Britain...(including, I suppose, Canada). But that is not to be. Now all we can do is use Great Britain as an example of what not to do...(this is not meant to condemn ordinary Brits, but British leadership.)

Soul-chilling, razor sharp and mercilessly accurate. How many decades has it been since May 15, 1974 when terrorists under the direction of Nobel Peace Prize Winner Yasser Arafat stormed a school in Ma'alot and gloriously murdered 26 unarmed people, 21 of them children.

They attacked from Lebanon where they were establishing a PLO gangster state (what else is new). This was well over 30 years ago. I will never forget some of the photos from Ma'alot. They are not to be found on the internet. These are what so-called 'Palestinians' are and were and they are 'Europe's Heroes'.

Europe is finished at this rate. All those who say the underbelly of Europe will awaken soon are only kidding themselves. But I could be wrong. I HOPE I'm wrong.

How much of an "enormous commitment"? The American government has already spent, or committed, $880 billion. That is more than the total cost of all of America's previous wars, except for World War II. What have we gotten for it? What could have been done with that $880 billion, if it had been spent otherwise, on energy projects, and propaganda throughout the Infidel lands and even within Dar al-Islam, to force Muslims to begin to make the connnection between their own political, economic, social, moral, and intellectual failures, and Islam itself. And what if just a bit -- ten billion or so -- had been spent on n military aid to such countries as Ethiopia and Israel and Thailand and the Philppines, actively under active from assorted local Jihads, and even the intelligent use of military power to seize Darfur and the southern Sudan (and thus be seen in black Africa to be rolling back the otherwise seemingly inexorable march of Islam southward).

What "commitment over time"? Doesn't General Petraeus understand that all his bright counter-insurgency experts are not expert at all in Islam, and when you leave out Islam, when you leave out the possibility, in Iraq, of weakening the Camp of Islam by leaving Iraq, not by staying, you are essentially irrelevant to the matter at hand.

And does General Petraeus not undersand the tremendous unpopularity of this war, an unpopularity it richly deserves, even if not all of those who are opposed to it, and who wish the American withdrawal to have begun yesterday (I think the latest sensible point was March 2004), necessarily realize that such a withdrawal will provide the American government with the only "victory" in Iraq that makes sense: that is,a "victory" properly defined as leaving the Cmap of Islam more divided and demoralized than it was before. Keeping Iraq together, trying to force un-Islamic behavior -- that of sweet-reasoning compromise -- on Muslims, will never happen. Never. It is a fool's errand, and anyone in the military who thinks he can get away with echoing the Bush-Cheney line, indefinitely, will see his career utterly ruined. It is those who, despite the hallucinating civilians, have had enough experience in Iraq to begin to grasp the nature of Islam and of Muslim peoples and societies suffused with Islam, who will inherit the military commands --- and it is right that they do so.

Petraeus is soldiering on. He has not allowed himself the luxury to question the entire policy, but merely sees himself as the one who must try to execute that policy. But that policy makes no sense. It is directed at the wrong goals. Petraeus may charm some, but he is making a colossal error in continuing with this folly, this absurd "surge" that will not lead -- and cannot lead -- to any benefit to the Camp of the Infidels.

And others, those soldiers, regular army and in the civilian army, who are being thrown in, their lives put at risk, for the obstinacy and stupidity of Bush and Cheney and a few others, will not forget or forgive.

And why should they?

Palestinians?

Didn't they violate the world peace by attacking the Olympic Village and murdering unarmed athletes in 1972?

Weren't they involved in hijacking airliners, and a cruise ship, plus terrorist killings and suicide bombings in the ME for decades?

Didn't they cheer Saddam Hussein's rape of Kuwait and the illegal rocketing of Israel by the Iraqis in 1990?

Weren't they in the streets handing out candy on 9/11?

Those Palestinians?

Europe didn't get enough pain from one set of Nazis?

Good luck, ye of little Continental memory.
