Wanna bet? Every time an Islamaniac commits some kind of outrage we either get an insincere sounding apology, a dozen excuses or a deafening silence. All these responses mean that, by and large, the Islamic faith agrees with such outrages. And that's why after 1400 years we keep on getting more and more of these outrages. And this baloney about Islam really calling for peace is a hoot too. It sets about bringing peace by filling graves-lots of them-because no people are as peaceful as dead people.

Unless you happen to be a member of the religion of peace of course.

You are in denial. According to a Canadian poll don't by one of Canada's toll companies 7% of Canadian Muslims support the murder of fellow citizens as a faithful form of protest against Canada's foreign policy. The numbers are higher in the UK 25%, over 30% in Indonesia, and likely well into the majority in Middle Eastern Countries. The only other religious group that espouses such violence is the KKK. While there may be a benign peaceful Islam, it appears that there is a deep rot within your Ummah which you are in denial about. Islam can not mean peace if you have so many followers who espouse murder. If you really seek the truth, open your eyes.

Indeed it is sad that ignorance about Islam permeates everything in the Western world. This ignorance is also the root of many problems in America, but especially in Western Europe. Yes, saw that on CNN. The announcer mentioned in a disapproving tone that there was a spelling mistake in the word 'Christian' somewhere on the sign.

Needless to say to regular JWers, the 'submit, convert, or die' options do comprise the main message of Islam that non-Muslims need to be most concerned about.

Since 9/11 we've waged war against a tactic with the manacles of political correctness mangling our strategic thinking and hamstringing our troops in contact with the enemy. Hell if you expect to win a war you must at least find the courage to name the enemy. If we are to survive as a freed people we need leaders with the will to bust the bonds of political correctness. And since political correctness is the spawn of the American hating Left we need a leader with the guts to brand the American hating Left as the enemy they are.

On 9/11 nineteen good Muslims slaughtered 3000 Americans for the greater glory of the god of their prophet Mohammad and there has been no, repeat no opposition to this ever increasing evil from Muslims in terms of Islamic theology. Find one Muslim cleric who will condemn Muslims killing themselves in order to kill unbelievers, in the hope being rewarded with eternal fornication, and will do so publicly, unconditionally and in terms of Islamic theology. You cannot find one because their prophet promises them such rewards for such evil.

We must secure our borders but that alone will not be enough. Today or tomorrow or the next year good Muslims will attempt to nuke us. It might come via a missile or it might be smuggled in by good Muslims. Yet where in the States are good Muslims attempting to build nukes? After 9/11 we cannot suffer any Islamic polity to posses nuclear weapons. After 9/11 we cannot suffer Muslim aliens in our county. After 9/11 I am very much afraid we can no long suffer Muslims to live amongst us.

Is there a Truman out there with the compassion to bring these hard and terrible truths home to the followers of a religion whose founder's founding acts were manifestly evil? Do we as a people have the will to do what must be done to prevent good Muslims from reducing an American city to radioactive rubble?

What is more important to our survival as a free people? Spending billions subsidizing growing corn and women who have children out of wedlock? Or should a once free people spend whatever is required to field a viable missile defense and fund enough cops to round up and ship out ALL aliens in our country illegally? The welfare state is a millstone on the back of Lady Liberty.

Unfortunately, what we have are weaklings, cowards and fuzzy, feel-good pop, psycho-babble prostelytizers. The say "God," but won't say, "YAHWEH." They point to the three great religions, maintaining that all three religions lead to the same source

They are cowards, terrified to lift the veil covering the evil that parades under the guise of the religion of piece.

They enable evil to flourish because they will not preach the truth.

I think one of the best statements about the nature of Jihad (and how this is integral to the religion of Islam) has been written by Bat Ye'or in "Eurabia". She states:

"In recent years, the Islamist concept of *jihad* against the infidel has filtered through to the public, despite obfuscation in the Western press. From Indonesia to the Philippines, from Chechmiya and Afghanistan to Sudan, from Egypt to Algeria, and from Gaza to New York, London, and Paris, calls to Jihad repeat the same themes and are integrated into the same ideological structure. Such homogeneity cannot be improvised. Nor is it the result of circumstantial external factors. On the contrary, it is integrated into a permanent historical trend that is based on doctrinal, legal, and cultural foundations" (p. 160). As Bat Ye'or also reminds readers, "Europe had thirteen centuries of jihad experience on its lands, at its frontiers and in its cities." It's only in recent times that Europeans have become complacent, if not complicit, in the furtherance of the Jihad ideology.

Yeah, it's sad that so many ignorant, naive Americans still think that islam is a bonafide religion similar to Christianity instead of the ritualistic, intolerant, inherently violent, misogynic, supremacist death cult that it is. It is also sad that prominent scholars, respected for their expertise and wisdom, are disgraceful apologists for islam, lending it undeserved and false credibility.

Proffering quotes from the qur'an and hadith often do more harm than good because people assume that they are metaphoric, allegorical, or simply "taken out of context", often citing the "violence" in the Old Testament which, of course, is a false and misguided analogy.

The first time I read the qur'an many, many years ago, it made absolutely no sense whatsoever to me. The second time I read it, I was amused by the silly, mythical characters and one non sequitur after another----pure nonsense. The third time I read it, the primitive blood lust and arbitrary violence dominated the dialogue, page after page of gruesome, barbaric, inhuman behavior. The fourth time I read it, I searched for a consistent message of morality and goodness, assuming that "morality" and "goodness" have universal definitions. It took years for me to understand that the islamic definition of "good" defines pure evil from my Western, Christian perspective.

Although it is not necesary for Americans or Westerners to fully understand every islamic concept and tenet to realize that islam is evil, it is nonetheless very difficult for them to associate evil with a religion. The most blatantly antithetical, anti-Western aspects of islam are so outrageous that they are simply unbelievable. It is much easier to project Christian or Jewish beliefs on islam than to contemplate the possibility that islam really is a predatory death cult with millions of fanatical followers.

It's strange, but some people seem to instinctively "get it" without extensive study of the qur'an and other islamic texts, while others study islam in great depth and fail to perceive its inherent evil, or pretend they don't. Muslims will never openly acknowledge the fatal flaws in islamic doctrine, that's why they kill people for exposing them.

For all any of us knows, Rev Murrell might have been lurking here. For all any of us knows, Rev Murrell may have been reading Spencer's books, or Bat Ye'or's, or a number of others. If anyone posting here comes from Murrell's neighbourhood (Raleigh? where is that?) or his home state perhaps a brief letter or phone call or email of support should be sent to his church office to encourage him and his congregation - and a letter to the editor of the newspaper that reported the story.

What if a thousand, ten thousand, a hundred thousand churches with noticeboards put up similar messages? Sticking strictly to the facts. Spencer's little sideboxes in the 'PIG to Islam and the Crusades', comparing Biblical and Mohammedan messages, show how to do it.

The local mosques would 'invite' them to learn the 'truth' about Islam - and the pastor and parishioners, conspicuously wearing the cross, would smilingly visit, and politely dispute such Islamic Big Lies as the denial of the Crucifixion, and sweetly ask questions about Surah 9 and the interpretation thereof, or about the apostasy and blasphemy laws, or the exclusion of Infidels from Mecca on pain of death; and offer free copies of the Four Gospels over the baklava and coffee afterwards.

The pastor is simply pointing out the truth in a non-pc matter. God Bless him.

Amazing how hypsersensitive they get over a simple question that inspires thought (forget the fact it was rhetorical anyway as the answer is obvious).
