From WNBC, NewsChannel 4, New York:
Six men from New Jersey have been arrested in an alleged terror plot against soldiers at Fort Dix, according to law enforcement sources.Investigators said the men planned to use automatic rifles to enter Fort Dix and kill as many soldiers as they could at the New Jersey military base. Fort Dix was just one of several military and security locations allegedly scouted by this group, authorities said.
Investigators told NewsChannel 4's Jonathan Dienst that these arrests are the result of a tip to the FBI and use of an informant to track the suspects. Authorities were alerted in January 2006 after the terror suspects traveled to the Poconos for a training exercise where they practiced firing weapons, investigators said.
Sources have told NewsChannel 4's Brian Thompson that the suspects tried to have a training videotape converted to DVD at a store in Cherry Hill, N.J., but the store owner alerted authorities.
Authorities then inserted a cooperating witness into the alleged terror cell to be a go-between in their attempt to purchase M16 and AK-47 rifles. Arrests were made Monday night after the informant delivered dummy weapons paid for by the alleged terror cell suspects, authorities said.Investigators said the group discussed targeting numerous locations like Dover Air base, Fort Monmouth, a Coast Guard building in Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Federal building before deciding on Fort Dix as their intended target. Fort Dix is run in part by the Army and is a reserve-training center, but active units take part in training, including some which focuses on counter-terrorism.
Sources told NewsChannel 4's Brian Thompson that the family of one of the suspects owns a pizzeria near Fort Dix and claimed to know the base "like the back of his hand." The same suspect told the alleged terror group it would be easy to penetrate to "get the most soldiers killed," sources said.
Investigators said the group of suspects have been discussing and planning for much of the last year. They allegedly pooled their savings to pay for the operation targeted at soldiers stationed here at home, according to investigators. The six suspects arrested Monday night will face terror conspiracy charges. Three of the men are brothers, all believed to be Islamic radicals.
The U.S. Attorney's office has told NewsChannel 4 that one of the suspects was born in Jordan, one in Turkey and four in the former Yugoslavia. Investigators said most of the suspects have spent several years here in the United States.
Some of the group's alleged planning was caught on videotape, investigators said. On the videotape there is significant discussion of martyrdom.
"Who is going to take care of my wife and kids?" one suspect asks on the tape, according to investigators. Another responds, "Allah will take care of your wife and kids."
The alleged terror cell is described by investigators as disciples of Osama Bin Laden. Among the evidence seized was the downloaded will and testament of two Sept. 11 hijackers.
Spokesmen for U.S. Attorney Chris Christie and the FBI in New Jersey and Philadelphia could not be reached for a comment.
The suspects will be arraigned this afternoon in front of a federal magistrate at 1 p.m.
It was good of WNBC to mention the Islamic nature of the plot. One expects other news sources may overlook that fact.
Close U.S. borders to ALL Muslims. Now.
Michelle Malkin (who knows the Islamic dimension) seems a bit focused on the illegal immigrant aspect, as if a flow of legal immigrants with Islamist sympathies is not a likely result of the society's naivete about Islam itself.
http://michellemalkin.com/archives/007477.htm
Islam and the United States of America are not compatible.
There.
The truth takes few words.
Mr. Bush-Stop playing about being serious and actually be serious about the war on terror. Order these scum executed by sunrise tomorrow morning. Deport the families back!!
It's going to get a whole lot worse before it gets any better. Maybe it will actually take an attack worse than 9-11 to wake up many people in this Country. That in itself is a disturbing thought.
Al-Qaeda has said they have "something special" planned....
Both FOX and CNN have described the men as "Islamic Radicals". CNN leads with the headline "Islamic Radicals".Interesting that the investigation began with a tip from a "John Doe" to authorities about the men's training video. The kind of tip that CAIR would like to put an end to.
These animals are Albanians from Kosovo.
Isnt it great that the US bombed Serbia, a Christian nation, for the sake of Kosovo Muslims? Isnt it great that Kosovo muslims can settle in the US as refugees?
Isnt liberalism great?
Predictably, Al-Beeb linguistically neutered the suspected perps to 'nationals of the former Yugoslavia'. So that'll be Albanian Muslims then.
http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6635669.stm
CNN mentioned that now it's a "family affair" to raise terrorists (no mention that it was to raise Islamic Muslim Terrorists, of course.) So, were these Muslim immigrants or "home-grown"?
Oh dear, the FBI is undertaking fraudulent trade practices. They will now have to return the money.
As Karen Armstrong would say: "It's politcal and cultural, not religious."
Allah, who?
I guess they are only muslims if you catch them before they kill.
Both FOX and CNN have described the men as "Islamic Radicals".
How do Fox, CNN and other media get to know so quickly that they are "Islamic radicals"? Its not that they have interviewed these people. Couldnt they just be ordinary Muslims going about their Islamic duty? How the hell do they know?
They should have (plan w/FBI & Base CC) let them onto the base and then into a crossfire situation which would have really raised the level of awareness about this cult with all the Americans while keeping the situation under control and also getting rid of another 6 Allah's Idiot Robots...
The military base I live near raised it's Threatcon level to (C)harlie yesterday for no apparent reason. Now, I know...
How do Fox, CNN and other media get to know so quickly that they are "Islamic radicals"?
Because they were described as such by the people who arrested them. My point in mentioning that CNN and FOX is that they mentioned the "Islamic" nature of the plot. Robert wondered whether news organization would mention that the plot was connected to Islam.
"Among the evidence seized was the downloaded will and testament of two Sept. 11 hijackers."
A small preventative measure: The estate of any terrorist that dies during their foul act should be automatically distributed among the families of their victims (or, at least, upon proof of a "terrorist act", which the government would have standing and an obligation to pursue). There should be no need for a damages phase. Furthermore, as with bankruptcy, you could trace their monies and other assets back to look for inordinary types of transfers. This type of thing might provide some pause and it may be a slight catalyst for on the fence types and family members to speak out against such acts (at least privately to the would be suicide terrorist) since it would cause them pain.
Note to CAIR: prep lawyers for new upcoming "John Doe" litigation.
Note to MAS: draft murtad fatwa against traitors to Islam.
And muslims living in America will continue to wonder WHY they are given a second look by ordinary Americans. Muslims, do your thing, live your life but remember, we're watching you.
Racist? Islamophobic? Bigoted? Or is it an educated guess? CAIR should be jumping all over this story, loudly and publicy condemning these morons. But we know they won't.
When CNN first reported on this story, there was no mention at all of any Islamic connection...
It's good that CNN calls them "Islamic" (and I don't find "radical" all that problematic -- in Canada I'm assuming they'll be termed "militants" or "activists.")
Roxanne: Because they were described as such by the people who arrested them.
Still, how do they get to know so quickly.
Its similar to the aftermath of SJS when police/FBI, immediately deny any terrorism links.
Keep the Patriot Act....
USA and EU supported Albanians under Madeline Albright to fight against Christian Macedonians. USA and EU supported Albanians on issue of Kosovo.
USA brought large number of Albanians to USA while Christians in Sudan were killed by muslims and none of the Christians were ever transported to USA.
This is how muslims pay back USA and still USA dont understand the islamic ideology.
While perusing the shelves of the Barnes and Noble this last weekend I came upon Karen Armstrong's book about Mo the Pedo and it was subtltled: Muhammed...THE prophet for OUR times. I read further and saw Mo described as a man who stood for "justice, peace, and freedom" and, from the pit of my stomach to the bottom of the porcelain bowl, words do not suffice to describe my feelings. Karen really is in a Koolaid drinkers' paradise isn't she?
Anyway, back to the subject of the planned attack against soldiers at Fort Dix...are those "refugees from the former Yugoslavia" people to who WE gave refugee from alleged persecution not so long ago?
desertdawg29palms: They are refugees. They are same refugees as USA brought refugees from Somalia who settled in Minnesota and are trying to implement Sharia on airports. I am sure every one knows about Somali Cab drivers by now.
One is a Turk, another born in Jordan, and the others from the former Yugoslavia. All Muslim.
Yet, the latest article on this from the NYT says, "Six people have been arrested." People.
It's just incredible.
Being a muhammadan means never having to say "Thank You."
Being a muhammadan means never having to apologize.
However, on a positive note:
Being a muhammadan also means being real
S-T-U-P-I-D !!!!!
Oh, one of the arrested Muslims had the absolute audacity to ask, "Who will take care of my wife and kids?" !!!!
Another one responded, "Allah will take care of your wife and kids." !!!!
But, realistically speaking, since there is no "allah," is it US who will be taking care of Fatima and brood?
Let us all give Clinton, Albright and General Weseley Clark a hand for killing Christians for the radical muslims in the lands that these creeps came from. (please note sarcasm)
I agree with MississippiMud - but I think it will be the same as with 9/11. We will all get up in a tither and then the left wing will start its denial and blaming the USA for the problems that the muslims have. Instead of reading their koran and learning of their violent 1400 years of history - they will blame the USA - again. And if there is one in power that they dislike they will blame him/her for the attack. They won't learn, or acknowledge, that saudi arabia is behind most of the funding of radical's training and building up an infrastructure to teach their brand of filth called wahabbism in the USA and around the world - and let them carry on.
While most people keep thinking that Bush is being played like a fiddle with the saudis - he is the first one to go against them in taking this war to not only Afghanistan, but Iraq. The Saudis DID NOT want us to go into Iraq - they were ok with Hussein most of the time. Yes, they were threatened at one time, but they were the influence that got us out of there the first time after the Gulf War. They took away our military base which should tell us something of their desire to see us out of there.
Or they will blame the USA for not stopping it all the while they tear away at our efforts to try to stop it with censorship, defunding, going and hugging and kissing the enemies, and blaming their fellow citizens who disagree with them politically.
These freaks need to be taken out of the civil courts and thrown to the military. Stop having us pay for their defense - they are traitors and START TREATING TRAITORS AS TRAITORS! But, that won't happen since so many on the left are also traitors and they don't want to see anything that would threaten their little pinkies with an owie.
They are taught to play the courts like a violin. And if they take an oath to tell the truth on a koran - that is like them telling us all that they love Jews, or any infidel.
"Arab means never having to say you're sorry."
FYI - a seven-person weapons ring has been found in Saint Louis, MO as well but isn't publicly seen as an organized jihadi effort as of today:

Seven more accused of gun scheme
By Robert Patrick
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
05/02/2007
ST. LOUIS — Seven more people have been charged in a case involving the buying, selling or hiding of automatic weapons, an anti-personnel mine and other explosives.
The charges, unsealed in a federal indictment Tuesday, say it was a crime for profit but do not specify who the ultimate customers would have been. One of the newly accused men told a Post-Dispatch reporter in an interview three months ago that it had been part of a plan to sell weapons to local street gangs.
The first person implicated in the case, Mousa M. Abuelawi, 22, was originally arrested Dec. 29 and charged with three counts of illegal possession or distribution of a machine gun, and conspiracy to violate machine-gun statutes. He has since moved to Creve Coeur from St. Charles.
The superseding indictment in U.S. District Court in St. Louis names Abuelawi and seven others on charges including machine-gun violations, conspiracy, lying to the FBI and other firearms charges. Advertisement
The other defendants are Thaer Abde Sumad, 23, of Florissant; Mohamed Judeh, 20, of Maryland Heights; Abdikarin Warsame, 28, Charley M. Hunt Jr., 45, Darnell T. Thornton, 25, and Hussein Ali Nure, 29, all of Jennings; and Otha L. Baker, 20, who had no address listed in court documents.
The charges carry a penalty of five to 10 years in prison.
The indictment says that on Nov. 21, Abuelawi bought an M-16 rifle and a Claymore mine from a government informer, then sent pictures of the M-16 to others with his cell phone, looking for a buyer.
Abuelawi and the informer then met at the gas station in the 5700 block of West Florissant Avenue where Abuelawi worked, the indictment says. Judeh discussed the gun with Abuelawi, and Sumad kept it inside the gas station before police recovered it, the indictment says.
Sumad, one of Abuelawi's co-workers, also kept the Claymore in the gas station before Abuelawi told him to give it to Warsame, the indictment says.
Warsame then sold the Claymore to Thornton for $500 and got $50 in return, the indictment says. Thornton allegedly sold it at a gas station in the 5000 block of Goodfellow Boulevard for $850 to others not named in the indictment.
Sumad and Judeh have been charged with lying to the FBI about the M-16.
Sumad was also charged with conspiracy, transfer and possession of machine guns, and receipt and possession of unregistered firearms.
In the original documents charging Abuelawi, Sumad is quoted in a meeting with Abuelawi and a government informer as saying that "he wants to buy as many explosives as possible because, 'we're going to war.'"
In an interview with a reporter in February, Sumad said he didn't remember the comment and suggested it might have been a joke.
Sumad said then that the purchases were intended to supply St. Louis street gangs in a turf war to "make a few extra bucks," but that he didn't handle the weapons and was not involved in the negotiations.
Abuelawi also bought a Heckler & Koch MP5 fully automatic submachine gun and an M-16 from the informer on Dec. 27 at a gas station in the 6000 block of West Florissant Avenue, again sending out photos to prospective buyers, the indictment says.
He sold the MP5 to Baker and others, the indictment says. Baker left the station and tried to use the MP5, then returned it to Abuelawi the same day, the indictment says.
Abuelawi and Warsame then brought the two guns to the 9700 block of Medford Drive in St. Louis County where Warsame, Hunt and Nure agreed to store them.
Hunt and Nure are convicted felons and are barred from possessing any guns, the indictment says.
Abuelawi also discussed buying grenades from the informer, court documents show.
The guns and explosives had all been rendered inoperable by the FBI before being delivered by informers, and all were recovered, court documents show.
Attorneys for Abuelawi and Judeh did not return a message seeking comment.
Thornton's attorney, Joel Schwartz, said, "It wouldn't be prudent to comment yet."
No attorneys were listed in court records for the other defendants.

In this morning's radio news, the arrested were described as 'people of various heritages'. The clue that they might be Muslims was let out of the bag with the snippet that they all subscribed to the ideology of Osama bin Laden. The nationalities mentioned - 1 from Turkey, 1 from Jordan and 4 from former Yugoslavia. (I'm guessing Bosnia, because had it been from Kosovo, they'd have simply said Serbia)
The Turk and Jordanian aside, nice to see the gratitude of the 'former Yugoslavs.' Yep, that's the catch all term I'll use from now on to describe Muslims from the Balkans. Including Albanians from Albania. Excluding Turks.
"Sources have told NewsChannel 4's Brian Thompson that the suspects tried to have a training videotape converted to DVD at a store in Cherry Hill, N.J., but the store owner alerted authorities."
I hope that store owner is armed and has someone watching his/her back.
Thanks for posting this story.
A few years ago, someone posted on this site noting that AP reporter Wayne Parry often wrote about Islamic issues and asked what was known about him. As far as I could see, that post was never answered.
Well, just so happens that Parry wrote a wire story about this same incident. In his story, he omitted anything about videotaped planning, discussions of martydom or statements about Allah taking care of the wife and kids left behind.
Having stripped the story of the facts that linked it with Jihad, and thus the essential context, he then goes on to question prosecutors labeling the suspects as "Islamic militants", cites "worry among New Jersey's Islamic community" and raises the spectre of mass detentions following 9/11 by quoting "Sohail Mohammed, a lawyer who represented scores of detainees after the 2001 attacks" as complaining about the government equating "Islam and militancy".
So now I think we know a little bit more about who Wayne Parry is and whether he is capable of reporting the news objectively.
someone said "ban Muslim immigration," ooopss, it may have been me....absolutely...
darcy, you got it right there! Arabs actually think they are superior human beings - an enlightening book to read is 'Princes of Darkness', it will open your eyes not only to their history, but the violence their tribal society is full of and their thuggish bullying of our institutions. Now, I would say that the people who run our institutions, including politicians, need to get some ethics because they are the ones accepting saudi money. The saudis expect repayment and they expect it in the form of appeasing them and their wishes.
they are mostly dullards who are unable to fathom that they should not only get an education, but work. It is actually an attribute that many muslims have - the inability to think they should do some jobs. It is common in Egypt. And I am sure in other muslim countries. This is why they have dhimmi - to do the work they do not chose to do. This is probably why our soldiers have noticed that while they do road work, sewer work, building, etc the Iraqis are just sitting around watching - they don't feel that muslims should have to do some types of jobs.
Take notice of what muslims do in our country - mostly cabbies, run small stores and gas stations. They don't do too many other types of work. They might be found teaching, but they teach muslim studies (basically deceiving our children about what Islam is all about). You won't find them being street workers, waste management workers, janitors, etc.
They are self limiting. In Saudi Universities they don't teach a lot of useful crafts so young men can go to work - they teach 'muslim studies'. And what this does is make them dependent on others for their income. This is what they spread to countries that they now occupy. The children learn only the koran in schools. nothing else. It is no wonder why there are so many men willing to kill and kill themselves - there is nothing else they are trained to do except to hate and want to kill. I keep saying they breed sociopathic murderers while other societies try to stop that type of killer.
"Terror" plot, perpetrated by "ethnic Albanians", supposed friendlys to the rioting "youths" in France.
The media will do EVERYTHING in it's power, or I should say under the applied power of PC, not to associate Islamists with Islam in any way...
News coverage says many of the men have lived in the U.S. 'for some time,' however this article ironically has this to say about Ft. Dix:
"Fort Dix is used to train soldiers, particularly reservists. In 1999, it sheltered more than 4,000 ethnic Albanian refugees during the NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18549005/
So, some of these thugs are Albanians, therefore it is quite possible they were given shelter in the very base they planned to attack.
Such gratitude on their part. And such irresponible immigration policy on our part.
@GreatShaitan
It's called biting the hand that feeds you.
Anyone still in favor of spilling American blood and treasure for the Democracy-loving Dads and Moms or Iraq?
If it wasn't my country that had its head up its ass, I might just have to laugh at the total absurdity of it all.
How long ago was September 11, 2001?
GreatShaitan, thanks for the info. I didn't know that Clinton brought in 4,000 of them here to the USA. He now has a monument in his name put up by radical muslims in Bosnia/Kosovo. It thanks him for helping the muslims slaughter Christians for them.
http://www.srpska-mreza.com/Bosnia/Srebrenica/AlQaeda.html
Why do we keep thinking that we should bring these people over here? We are doing the same in Iraq - and we don't even have a clue as to who are the radicals and who are not.
I'm a new participant to this site after reading from it for months. This latest episode makes me wonder how these immigrants from such poor countries have the resources to get over here. I'm also seeing where our government foolishly provides the money to do so! I'm with those who are saying, "Ban Muslim immigration."
this is probably the most amateurish plot i have heard of in a long time. attacking a heavily armed base with ak47's??? seriously, they would've been mown down within minutes. why didnt the FBI just allow the plotters to reach the base and then let the special forces mince them up, in full glare of the unspecting yet invited press.
"this is probably the most amateurish plot i have heard of in a long time. attacking a heavily armed base with ak47's???"
Posted by: leonthepigfarmer
...soldiers on US military bases are not armed...the weapons are kept in the armory....probably they only ones carrying weapons are the gate personnel and the on base military police....
...wading into unarmed soldiers would be no different that wading into a crowed mall....
...many would die...
Let's not forget, 17 dead on the USS Cole from a bomb on a rubber dinghy, right? It's the amateurishly simple plots that can inflict so much damage.
I have often wonder why jihadists didn't simply drive into Manhattan from nearby NJ (and NJ sure has a lot of muslims) during the Christmas shopping season and open fire on the crowds in a Luxor style massacre.
ALERT ALERT ALERT !!!
"At one point, they contemplated joining the military to wage jihad from the inside:"
They were also considering joining the military to get inside, to be better trained to do their damage.
How many muslims are already in the military???
There are DOZENS of them in West Point, the Air Force Academy, and Annapolis!!!
Congressmen have to be alerted to NOT recommend Muslims to the academies as cadets! The military overall needs to exclude Muslims!
This is a potential catastrophe!
When the US Civil War broke out, many finely trained cadets, such as Robert E. Lee, resigned from the the US Army and joined the Confederate Army to fight against their former comrades. That war cost the country 600,000 dead and almost shattered the nation forever.
We need a "Muslim Exclusion Act" written into the US Constitution. The "Freedom of Religion" clause has to be refined - we can't allow cannibals, headhunters, etc., to practice their religion freely, and we can't allow Muslims to practice jihad, slavery, polygamy, etc.. Islam needs to be excluded.
"Carthago delenda est"
A sign outside a Kosher Butcher's shop on the Lower East Side said it best:
"We slaughter ourselves everyday"
There will be nothing done by our do-nothings in government about the Mohammedans until it is the Capital that is attacked or destroyed. Only when their very existence is at risk will any action be taken. It's all one big hypothetical to them, who live in their gated communities with their illegal housekeepers. They live in a different world than the rest of us and simply don't get it, because they can't get it. I sometimes think we should choose Congress like we do juries. If we got every tenth idiot we'd have less than we do now.
Too bad the FBI didn't notify the army of the plot so that army shartshooters would be waiting for them when they arrived at Fort Dix, where our soldiers would have had the great pleasure of obliterating them all in a hale of rifle fire.
Now we'll have to spend years of litigation, countless appeals, fending off charges of religious discrimination, delay after delay of court appearences, ACLU tactics, unending complaints from CAIR and other Muslim organizations and protests from civil rights groups, before these murderers are ever brought to trial.
And even then, they could walk out of court, free men, on a technicality.
This could have all been avoided had we allowed our military to administer justice on the spot, and there wouldn't have been any questions about guilt or innocence. The evidence would have been unquestionable, and the verdict would have been swift and final.
What's worng with our leadership anyway?
This story from the AP, courtesy of Minneapolis RedStarTribune
http://www.startribune.com/484/story/1169892.html
"If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law," said Sohail Mohammed, a lawyer who represented many of the detainees. "But when the government says 'Islamic militants,' it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous."
"Don't equate actions with religion," he said.
Anyone wanna make a prediction about what will happen after the next attack?
there is going to be a threshold for the Wests tolerance. i wonder what it will be?
It just keeps getting more depressing everyday...
Here we are with another slap in the face. How many times must we get kicked before we say enough is enough? We are being invaded. Muslims are taking over corner of our country. The are in our universities, our commercial institutions, our medical establishments. Their largesse buys off everyone from the top to the bottom. Everywhere I turn they are pushing their damnedable sharia agendas. Foot baths in airports, mosques in schools, special rules for this and that, halal food only, ban pork products here and there. They are even pushing their crappy agenda at my children's private Episcopal school with Saudi students taking over the library every afternoon to "pray". When will we stop this conquest agenda that is being pushed upon us? When will we stop taking their easy money? What will remove their cadre from political office?
Is our only hope a civil war in the US. I don't want to be considered a racist because I don't want to live under sharia law. I don't want to go to mosque. I am not a raving bigot. Nor am I a Christian fundamentalist, but I see that we are being conquered by their money. Our leaders will sell us all for a dollar.
Every time I see another event such as this it only further cements my disgust at the ones we've entrusted to protect us, to make the proper choices. I pay lots of taxes as I am sure many of the bloggers here do. What are we paying for? As far as I can tell it is merely jizyaa which will forestall our dhimmitude on our innocent children.
What a mistake our government made in first allowing these ungrateful scum into the country and secondly not supporting the Christians in Balkans during the nineties. Who better knows the agenda better than a group that has been fighting them for one thousand years.
@detocquevilledisciple
I'd get my kid out of that school. I don't understand. You send him to an Episcopal school and yet they have muhammadans taking over the library. WTF??
That's maybe a good education if you want your kid to be islamophobic. What happens when you tell your kid what YOU think about muhammadans? Won't that rub off on him? And then, how will he relate to his Saudi classmates?
Like I said: I'd get him outta there!
"They are even pushing their crappy agenda at my children's private Episcopal school with Saudi students taking over the library every afternoon to "pray".
detocquevilledisciple,
You can't blame that on the Muslims. That's the fault of the Episcopal church and its clergy.
You'd better take a closer at what your children are being taught. I suspect that they're being told that Mohammad was a model of virtue and tolerance, and that he was a great Prophet somewhere on a par with the other great Prophets, including Jesus.
Do some questioning!
This is absolutely priceless! The Bush administration is twisting arms left and right to give them an emirate in Kosovo:
http://www.panarmenian.net/news/eng/?nid=22106
Give them a nuke or two while you're at it to seal the deal!
'Don't equate actions with religion...?'
Well, I'm afraid I do. I remember what Jesus said. He said, 'by their fruits ye shall know them' (which is why, since I profess Christianity, I endeavour to show practical love to my fellow human beings - my deeds and my words and my Scripture have to cohere).
If people insist on loudly calling themselves Muslim and I see them massively inflicting violence on others while quoting Muslim scriptures that line up perfectly with, even expressly command, those acts of violence - and all over the world I see other people of many different ethnic/genetic groups, many different languages, ALSO doing similar violence, and the only thing in common is that they are all Muslims, they all quote the same scriptures and are found hanging around mosques, then I think it's reasonable for me to conclude that they're showing the fruits of Islam.
Muslims have a very violent foundation text (much more inherently violent than that of most other religions, except for such frightful systems as the Assyrian or the Aztec or the cult of the thuggees); a very violent Prophet; a tradition of interpretation that does NOTHING to lessen or question the violence and oppression; and a stupefyingly violent history, both within the Ummah and towards all its neighbours. That's not hate speech. It's an attempt to call a spade a spade - to deal in observable moral and historical facts.
Final point: actions and religion are no more theologically separable in Islam than are mosque and state. The actions ARE the religion - jihad included.
