The mullahocracy continues to crack down. Sharia Alert: "Iran: Public Employees To Get 'Islamic' Uniform," from AKI, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
Tehran, 7 May (AKI) - Female public employees in Iran will soon have to wear a uniform abiding by new Islamic dress code rules. The measure, under which all female employees will be given two uniforms, is part of a new "moralisation" campaign that kicked off last month under which Iranians who do not abide by Islamic dress rules can be jailed, said Fereshteh Sasani, a top official at the office for women's affairs of the presidency. Sasani said the measure will cost Iran the equivalent of two million euros. The government has also ordered all public institutions to abolish open space offices as they do not guarantee an effective separation from female and male employees.
Is there one second in a mullah's life when he does not think or dream of sex, vaginas, orgasms or masturbation?
What ? No more cubbies ? Private offices for men and women ? I had to work for years before I got my own office !
save all the hassle, give all the jobs to males, and keep the females at home...
Where are all the female mullahs and imams and ayatollahs?
Even if you had to have two women to balance each individual male (since women are only worth half of a man according to Mohammad), why are there no lady Imamesses, Ayatollahettes or Ms. Mullahs?
Sounds bigoted. If not racist. Or, even Islamophobic (since these are Muslim women, after all).
Will this "moralization campaign" include handing over 10 year old girls to 70 year old perverts? Why stop at dress codes when instilling moral values in people? There is much work to do for Iranians to follow the words and deeds of the revered Satan Khomeini.
Maybe "misogyny" is the wrong word for this ideology. Seems like Islam has a bad case of "gynephobia" aka FEAR --- IRRATIONAL FEAR of women. Here I sit in a cubicle surrounded by men and have managed to stay clothed and (with the exception of this email) reasonably productive all morning. I haven't seduced anyone or put a spell on anyone so far. Why I am even wearing a V neck sweater which I am sure makes me a complete tempting babe in the eyes of my co-workers.
In all seriousness, it is no wonder these societies are poor without the oil beneath their feet. They are terrified of fully one half of their populace.
The more I study and read about Islam and the societies it has spawned, the closer I feel to my Catholic faith and Jesus' acceptance of woman right down to His first appearance on Easter morn.
The adversaries of human rights have offered, and continue to offer, opportunities like this for them to be mocked and exposed for the fools that they are. They are VERY sensitive; like Islam itself they are hard, but brittle. It should be part and parcel of our foreign policy to mock such stupidity, to make the puffed-up tinpots of the Islamic world look and feel like idiots. They need to KNOW that we are laughing at them. This is effective. It makes their own slaves see their weakness.
Instead we have a succession of stuffed suits who know nothing about Islam, or its weaknesses, who are full of useless flattery. That flattery is not only totally unrequited, but answered with an endless stream of abuse whose very source is the Islamic canon itself. Reversing the flow of abuse will do NOTHING to worsen our position vis a vis these regimes. In fact it will make them confused, uncomfortable, afraid to expose themselves further. When a representative of the Iranian regime flees a meeting with the Secretary of State and uses the clothing of a woman violinist in the room as the excuse, it is an opportunity to pound on them. Make it clear, we will never accommodate their idiocy. Make it clear they will have to meet with, and shake hands with, real live non-enslaved, non-encased, non-veiled women. If they want something from us, and in the end they will, force the issue that their "traditions" are worthless in the context of the real world.
Expose, without compunction or hesitation, that their stone-age predilections get NO respect. Even their own people, at least the Iranian people, feel the same way as westerners. Nothing would help make their case than to make it on the television screens of the world.
When will we have a president with the intelligence to realize that the most powerful weapons are of this type?
