i used to have those "bang head on desk" moments every single day in the UK. i worked on drummond street, london, literally in a muslim community. as the towers fell a muslim left a fake bomb outside our office (an american company). i witnessed one day some serious car jackings and racial abuse on white cab drivers yet the cops did nothing, literally nothing.
the police even pushed the stolen car back to the side of the road, surrounded by these "youths" and got in their cars and drove off. this was feet away from euston station's british transport police station. god i have never felt so pissed and realised that my police would never protect me.
the "youths" were actually laughing at the police.

but luckily i met my american wife, moved to the USA and became a citizen of this great nation. and now this tragic news report. this is very disapointing to me. seems like jihad has followed me across the pond.

Don't blame Senator Clinton for this one (and why is she more responsible than "Commander Guy" King George?).

You can thank the NRA protecting the right of Islamic militants and other law-abiding gun-owners to carry and train with assault rifles. Find out if there really is a "Phillip Irizarry." There should be another required study. A 9:29 impact assessment, just to make sure an Islamic development application contains no ‘radical’ elements. You can’t be too careful. While Americans spend their time obsessing about Paris Hilton’s jail term and who will get voted off of American Idol, the world moves on.

One of the significant world news events overshadowed by the cloud of trivialities was the French presidential runoff. The contest between Nicholas Sarkozy and Segolene Royal should have been lead story and “above the fold” front page news on all the networks and on our nation’s major daily front pages.

Based on French president Jacques Chirac’s behaviour in 2003, you may be asking “Why?”

Consider these details.

For most of its post World War Two history, France has at best been a nominal
ally of the United States. This was true during the reigns of Charles de Gaulle and
Georges Pompidou and continued through the presidency of Francois Mitterrand. You may recall that it was Mitterrand who refused to permit American F-111s to fly through French airspace after the raid on Libya’s Muammar Qadhafi. It’s only been four years since Jacques Chirac denounced American President George W. Bush’s military operation in Iraq.

This brief historical outline provides the setting for the recent election.

France is continuing to experience a major demographic shift. Recent surveys and polls indicate that one out of every ten French citizens claims Islam as his or her religion.

Immigration patterns are adding to this trend. A sizeable portion of the French population was born outside of France, emigrating from one of the Republic’s many former North African or Middle Eastern colonies. Demographic estimates say that if the trend continues, by 2050, France will be a predominantly Muslim nation. Think of the profound impact a Muslim France would have on the strategic balance in Europe and North America. Consider what France could be like under Sharia law.

The fall, 2005 and 2006 riots in the Parisian suburbs provide stark evidence that the demographic shift is already having an impact. Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin downplayed the riots, claiming they were the product of angry “disaffected youths” troubled by a lack of opportunity. His comments avoided mentioning that the rioters were predominantly Muslim. Few news agencies reported that while the “disaffected youths” looted stores and threw stones at police, they shouted “Allah hu akhbar!”

The violence in the suburbs was the first tremor in what Samuel Huntington might call a fault line societal change. To put it bluntly, the looting, car burnings and ambushes of French police were the first stages of a French intifada.

It’s not insignificant that French President-elect Nicholas Sarkozy was the Interior Minister at the time of the riots. In what might have been a knee-jerk, first response to the fall, 2005 turmoil, Mr. Sarkozy called for government funding for mosques. Afterwards, the BBC reported that Mr. Sarkozy unnerved French intellectuals by calling the rioters “rabble.” The remark prompted some leftist French commentators to compare the future president with “far right” leader Jean-Marie LePen.

Interestingly, in the recently concluded campaign, Mr. Sarkozy firmly advocated limits on immigration from the former colonies. The lessons learned from the Parisian suburbs could be his greatest asset as he attempts to govern his demographically changing nation.

Economically, Mr. Sarkozy favours reductions in government spending and lowering taxes. He also wants to encourage French workers to extend their work week beyond 35-hours and remove the taxes from the additional income earned. He also wants to eliminate welfare benefits from those who refuse more than one job offer.

Internationally, he favours closer ties to the United States, a gesture that sets him apart from his predecessors. He opposes Turkey’s admission into the European Union and has called for a Mediterranean Union between Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Cyprus.

Mr. Sarkozy won handily and he is setting his sights on the upcoming French parliamentary elections. If he is successful in getting a pro-Sarkozy parliament elected, France is poised to take on a distinctly different direction. It’s a direction that could be beneficial to the United States.

For this reason alone, Americans and the rest of North America should keep a watchful eye on what happens in Paris.

The question in the minds of all Americans should be: Will Mr. Sarkozy’s win truly be good for America?

Only time will tell.

As for myself, sometimes I agree with the Right, sometimes the Left.

One thing non-Muslims desperately need, I think, is to find some consensus between Right and Left on Islam.

Often the Right rails against the excesses of PC and "diversity" and "multiculturalism," but I think those values could be exploited against Islam, especially because "diversity" could become a basis for consensus between Right and Left on Islam.

Thus for example Europe might tout "diversity" as a reason to increase immigration to Europe from non-Muslim regions (South America, Eastern Europe, non-Muslim parts of Africa and Asia) while reducing or halting immigration from Muslim regions.

History shows that if non-Muslims fail to pull together sufficiently (as for example the Left and Right), Islam will succeed in dominating. So the Right should excoriate the Left a little less and seek to find a common strategy a little more.

I have never met a muslim. I have a friend who knows a muslim but he refuses to introduce me because he says it would be disrespectful to ask questions concerning his beliefs. That seems odd. I called a radio show once to ask a question of a guest that claimed to be an expert on islam but that did'nt cut it with me, since he was'nt muslim himself. I think maybe muslims are a little like liberals. If you listen much to talk radio all the hosts are conservative and so are the guests. If you find one with a liberal guest they seem to have a hard time arguing their point cause they really don't have one or at least not a rational one anyway. But then I guess know religion is really rational when you think about it.

Zoning Commission is an example of a possible route for exposure. It is not intended for a finite probability. The tax reference you make is interesting. Thanks for the link to surveillance images, and the reminder to check at gatesofvienna. I went to GoV and read the reports about the various compounds in NY, GA and VA, and it was quite disturbing.

I'm particularly alarmed about the compounds in rural Virginia, as I know that there are a number of secret/semi-secret government installations hidden in parts of central rural VA, and having them within missile-range of Jihadits is beyond dangerous. I desperately hope that the FBI and the CIA and the state agencies are monitoring those compounds closely, but I am afraid that they probably are not.

In the late 70s and early 80s I used to do a lot of bicycle-camping in Virginia, riding from Northern VA to Richmond on the "back-country" roads, and several times I suddenly came upon pieces of land that were ringed with heavy chain-link fences, sometimes topped with barbed-wire. They were not on the "official" maps I was using, and at first it was very disorienting. Once, I was warned away by rifle-toting guards, and told to shut up about what I saw. I asked around, and learned that these were the CIA/FBI/whatever camps. OK, that's fine. They were intimidating to me at the time, but in retrospect I can see now that they are probably vulnerable to attack and infiltration by the Jihadists. This is a really serious problem.

Working for Homeland Security in a local level, I was privy to intelligence from local FBI and law enforcement, since declassified, so I'm not letting anything out here that isn't able to be found out by the general public, if they'd ask. The FBI Nashville branch was SUPER worried about the Dover TN Islamic Retreat about 3 years ago and still is as far as I know. It's just a few scant as the crow flies miles from Ft. Campbell. Apparently, the boys ages 16 to about 55 would just up and disappear for 4 -6 weeks at a time, the women would go in the house and shut the doors in the face of the local Sheriff, gunfire all the time, targets with "FBI" and "ATF" in the woods, NO interaction with local folk, etc. Still up and running as far as I know. Here, outside of a military base in the heart of Dixie. We're so screwed.

One has to wonder what they are converting ‘from’. One also has to wonder though about the ‘quality’ of these ex convicts. Are these people well educated, literate and reasonably articulate? Or do they come from the dregs of society and have IQ’s similar to their shoe size? If the former then we might see some enter the higher echelons of CAIR. If the latter, you can let your imagination run riot. To be honest here I have to say only a complete idiot would nail their flag to the mast of ANYTHING without reading in to it. Lower IQ’s would perhaps suit the purpose of warrior status, considering the mental agility required of suicide bombers and those dumb enough to consider attacking Fort Dix for instance.

Considering the last time some of these characters last seen a camera would possibly have been at a police station when they had their mug shot taken so it is perhaps reasonable to expect an expression of sullen resent and furtiveness…. victims of a white capitalist society who take exception to criminal activity, so what’s the best way to move forward and make the best of things? As I was traveling this weekend, I came to be driving through the Hancock area on Rte. 17. I'm not familiar with Hancock other than as a drive through area on my way to a variety of destinations.

I've noticed over the last few years, the area directly surrounding Hancock is experiencing a very noticeable increase in blight. Several pre-WWII structures, typical rural A-frame farm houses dotting the highway - are vacant and many collapsing upon themselves. This was not the case a few years ago as they appeared to be occupied. Since I'm not familiar with this region, this may be coincidence.

5 of the empires have already fallen when this was written around 100AD. What qualifies something to be an empire is that it occupied Israel. These 5, in order (with capital city), are

Egypt (Memphis),
Assyria (Nineveh),
Babylon (Babylon),
Media-Persia (Babylon),
Greece (Babylon) [Greece was original seated elsewhere but Alexander eventually set his throne in Babylon then he died, the empire split into 4 , since it wasn't conquered, its still the same empire. According to Daniel, the offshoot that was significant was the Seleucids, which was the South-East region.. the one that contained Jerusalem]

Each of the empires above did two things... occupied Jerusalem and destroyed the Empire that preceded it.

So those were the 5 that were fallen.

The 1 that "is" , the 6th Empire, was referring to the Empire that was there in the first century AD.. Rome of course.

Then notice it says "the next one has not come yet"

This means there will be a 7th Empire that had not existed up to that point yet.

The mantle must pass from Rome to whatever the 7th Empire is by the same methods that worked for the past Empires. Namely, control of Jerusalem is transferred and then the old Empire is destroyed.

Rome (the 6th empire) has one thing in common with Greece (the 5th empire).. both of them had their capital city moved.

The seat of power for Rome moved from Rome to Constantinople. And it was the Eastern Roman Empire that kept control of Jerusalem.. just as with Greece breaking up into 4 groups, Rome sort of broke up into 2 (the Western empire died) however its still considered the same empire and ruled by 1 leader (not 2.. since the Western empire was no longer "Rome")

So who is the 7th Empire?

So here he's saying the ID of the 8th Empire can be determined this way

No one ever took the throne away from the 7th Empire.. In all the previous transitions , the new empire took over from the old.

No empire took over from the 7th... that means the 8th empire is the 7th empire resurgent...

Weird story. Throughout this country, a golfcourse, restaurant or hotel cannot lawfully deny anyone access based on race, creed or color, etc. The "community" Islamberg [sic] and its people are not subject to the same rules, solely because they're on private property, perhaps. But the tax exempt status of their organization should trump any private property exception. Why can they lawfully exclude others from entry? Whatever the reason, it does not exclude law enforcement, when there are apparent felonies perpetrated daily at the property. Most occupants are recruited in prison, so they are convicted felons who do not enjoy all of the rights and privileges of other law abiding citizens, such as ownership or possession of a firearm. The NY laws regulating disposition of human remains also extend to that property, I would imagine. So how come State and Federal Laws are not being enforced? The State and Federal governments look like they're afraid to enforce the law against these militants. If so, then the American people need to hire new help, and will have that opportunity next year. This hostile military camp is not the kind of "militia" protected by the intent or the letter of the Second Amendment. The American people should demand that our sovereign governments behave as a sovereign and protect its citizens. These issues must be raised throughout the upcoming campaign debates so the voters can vote intelligently, this time.
