Apparently Lantos thinks we are under some obligation to prove that. IN reading Michele Malkins article, I notice the terrorists would record possible targets using cellphone cameras....I noted on the JW article regarding the Muslim terrorists smashing cellphones and music cds.....that one possible reason is that they (the Muslim terrorists) were afraid that people were using cellphone cameras to record their locations and sending the information to coalition forces....Now I see the terrorists in the US doing exactly that..using cellphones for surveillance for terrorist activities....hmmmmmm....

What sticks out to me when I read this article is that one of the men works at a nearby pizzaria run by his family. I've noticed in recent years that a pretty large portion of pizzaria's here in New York City are actually run by Albanians. To most people this goes unnoticed; often these people will posse as Italians and many also came to the US via Italy so they can speak Italian. Now I'm sure most of these pizzarias do this simply for business reasons but it does go to show how easily European Muslims can operate under the radar in the US.

Actually my son carries his 9-millimeter to work everyday (and thank God he does) because he has a co-worker who went Postal at work (with a knife) and got re-hired. This phenomenon of the trans-national character of Jihad has long been evident: if you note the reports about any of the other Jihads of recent history -- the Nigerian Jihad of the 70s; the Afghanistan Jihad of the 80s (which continues to the present); the Chechnya Jihad; the Somalian Jihad; and of course the Iraqi Jihad, you will note how there have been so many Muslims from so many different countries around the world who felt obliged to travel there on their duty of Jihad. Somebody on one of these threads said that the FBI should have notified the command at Fort Dix so that they could have marksmen waiting for these six little shits to show up and mow them down in a hail of bullets. The same commenter noted that by doing it this way, the suspects would have been caught in the act and their guilt placed beyond doubt, and the American taxpayer spared the expense of long trials, appeals, delays and a possible acquittal of the suspects in the end on some sort of technicality.
I completely agree. These guys are following well known declarations of international Jihadist leaders that they are at war against the West. That means that we are at war, whether we care to say so or not. This plot was an act of war. If its war, its war - so respond accordingly.
It's not a police matter. The U.S. government should give the order to its troops to defend themselves as necesary from this sort of threat and notify the American public to expect this in future.

One thing you will never .. and I mean NEVER ... see in a leftist-inspired piece on the gap between the evil rich and the sainted poor is the fact that there is a great deal of mobility between these groups. Every single year people who were once listed as poor move into the realm of the rich, while those once-rich find themselves scratching to pay the bills. In other words, the opportunities to become rich are out there, and people take advantage of those opportunities every day. The opportunities to make poor choices are also out there, and that's one reason why people slip into the lower income brackets. Thus it has always been, and thus it shall always be.
