LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sentenced a blasphemy accused, Younis Masih, to death after a video jail trial. The court also fined him Rs 100,000.Factory Area police had registered a blasphemy case under Section 295 C of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against Masih on September 10, 2005, after he had allegedly made derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at a Qawali function on September 9, 2005.
The accused challenged the whole legal process in his case and said that the investigation against him was illegal. He said that according to the law, a police officer below the rank of superintendent of police (SP) could not conduct investigation in a blasphemy case, but a sub-inspector (SI) had conducted the investigation in this case, which made the whole process illegal. He requested that the case against him be quashed....
The lawyer of the accused said that Christians had arranged a spiritual gathering at Chungi Ammarsidhu in September 9, 2005, at which a neighbour, Abdul Aziz, also a complainant in the case, had objected and demanded that they perform Islamic rituals instead of Christian rites. The argument turned hot during which, the complainant alleged that the accused had used the derogatory remarks.

Even though I am a devout Christian, we must fight any blasphemy laws that are brought in. Muslims will use them as a wedge to exploit the culture they are moving into. As we've seen in many Muslim cultures, blasphemy laws are used to oppress minorities.
The UK nearly got these kind of laws a few years ago and without the work of comedians like Mr. Bean, they would have passed. It is time for free men and women to challenge Islamic blasphemy laws.
Blasphemy fears is the first step to Dhimmitude. Tyrants fear mockery (just as Mohammad did when he had poets who mocked him murdered). Mock the bastards ... someone should set up a web site for this purpose and then let the Muslim tyrants howl.

Why won't western governments openly and publicly address the specific surahs in the Qu'ran, or the hadiths that generate all the violent behavior that we see in this so-called "religion of peace" which still remains the greatest myth perpetrated on the Western world?

No these are not derogatory comments, although these words do describe muhammad's actions, he did all these acts against infidels, and because he is uswa hasana, al insan, al kamil (the perfect man to be emulated), muslims must do all this to infidels and the acts are not derogatory, but saying that muhammad was wrong, is so.
