Saudi King tells Cheney that Maliki is "weak"

"Weak? Who you callin' weak? Does this righteous Shi'ite brother look weak to you?"

Maliki is a "weak leader," of course, because he is a Shi'ite. Abdullah wants a Sunni-ruled Iraq. And in Tabuk, the site of Muhammad's abortive last battle (against the Byzantines), Abdullah pulls Cheney's strings.

"Cheney works to overcome Saudi qualms: VP meets with King Abdullah amid growing skepticism over Iraq," from AP:

TABUK, Saudi Arabia - Vice President Dick Cheney worked to overcome Saudi skepticism over the U.S. military strategy to secure Baghdad and the leadership capabilities of Iraqi President Nouri al-Maliki.

Cheney met with King Abdullah at a royal palace in this northern city on Saturday. The king, while considered an important U.S. ally in the Arab world, increasingly has sent signals that he doubts the effectiveness of President Bush’s troop buildup in Iraq.

Abdullah also has signaled that he sees al-Maliki as a weak leader with too many ties to pro-Iranian Shiite parties to be effective in reaching out to Iraqi’s Sunni minority. Saudi Arabia has a predominantly Sunni Muslim population.

Looks can be deceiving, Ahmadinijad looks weak compared to a 250+ pounds Malaki.

Carlo Gambino looked like a doddering grandfather. Carlo G. was the most powerful crime boss since Capone. No one since has been more powerful or successful. Gambino died of cancer, I think, at 76 and at the height of his power - proof of his success. I have compared Islam to organized crime before; it is because Islam is organized crime. However, by comparison, the Mafia was a league of gentlemen.

Do not underestimate Mahmoud, aka Ole Weasel Eyes.

So why hasn't Arabia givin Maliki the backing he needs? Who does he suggest to dare step up and be a target? I don't know the problem there, but I never hear answers, even suggestions! They do the same with Olmert! The same here the dhimmicrats!

Robert Spencer's caption fits Ahmadinejad's facial expression to a tee. Got me laughing as usual.

King Abdullah is quite correct in his assertion about Maliki's weakness arising from his ties to Iran. Maliki is thoroughly compromised because he is beholden to Moqtada Al-Sadr for the latter's political support, and Al-Sadr, of course, is a client of Ahmadinejad. The Iraqi government's crack-down on Al-Sadr's Mahdi Army came only due to heavy pressure from the US and not because Maliki is committed to "peace, order and good government".

Imahandjob LOOKS like a walking, breathing cartoon of himself.
