Here is yet another example of the exorbitant costs involved in trying to protect a population from jihadists within the country. Yet Western countries remain heedless of such lessons, and continue to invite Muslims in in large numbers without taking any notice at all of the fact that there is no Islamic group that has pronounced takfir on Osama bin Laden and those who believe as he does -- that is, declared him an unbeliever. In other words, there is no reliable way to distinguish a truly peaceful Muslim from one who may sometime engage in jihad activity.

Bangkok, 16 May (AKI) - More than 3,000 policemen are on guard in about 1,000 government schools in Thailand's Muslim south as the new school year begins on Wednesday. Seen as a symbol of "Buddhist" Bangkok, the schools - and the teachers - have been the preferred targets of the Islamic rebels fighting for independence of the Muslim majority southern provinces of Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani.The last school that was attacked was an elementary school in Bangasod, in the district of Bannang Sata, in Yala, which was burnt to the ground last Sunday.
No one was killed in the incident but according to local news reports, at least 50 teachers have been killed in the three provinces since January 2004 and a total of at least 2,100 people have died in over three years of violence.
Time to invite the Muslims to return to Mecca.
Until they grasp the basics of Civilization.

Without at least a small amount of historical context, the spreading of islam through violent jihad looks amazingly similar to plain old violence and civil strife.
Thailand's culture, like so many cultures throughout history, has encountered the islamic culture. Many of those cultures no longer exist. Why, when the islamic jihad is displayed in plain view, do so many refuse to confront it?

Can you imagine having to send 3,000 troops to your schools to protect your children from potential attacks by Muslim maniacs?
Can you imagine a society continuing to tolerate a growing and increasingly menacing Muslim presence when this is the kind of implicit and explicit threat they pose by their Jihad, by Islam?
Of course you can imagine it.
You can imagine it because we're doing the same things here to accommodate their menacing presence -- spending billions upon billions to let them continue to live among us, to continue to practice Islam on our soil -- billions upon billions to permit them the insinuate themselves into our society without making them feel singled out, but sharing the burden of their threats as if we too posed the same kind of menace to ourselves that Muslims pose against us, that Muslims freely speak about posing against us, that Muslism happily and megalomanically espouse against us -- as if "you are me and we are you and we are all together"
We want our planes to continue to fly, but we want the Muslims not to feel singled out, and to remain on our soil and to practice Islam without any hassle or impediment, so we hassle ourselves instead, send thousands of air Marshalls into the air, pretending that we ALL pose a similar threat to society and therefore we ALL must be treated as potential terrorists.
When did the baptists, the secularists, the Jews ever hijack planes? We're meekly pretending, in order to make the Muslims feel GOOD, in order to avoid causing them embarrassment about Islam and the menace it poses to us all, we're feining, (and doing a good job of play acting), that we ALL pose the exact same menace to the fabric of society... while the Muslims, at the slightest hint of being singled out, rightly or wrongly under these bizarre circumstances, will file lawsuits and threaten and menace further at the drop of a hat if they somehow feel isolated, or singled out for any special attention no matter how justified. And we, rather than rejecting their congenital insanity, accept their premise, allow them to threaten, menace, and exploit our hard won laws and rights, ironically to subvert those very rights while further the cause of intolerance, hatred, terror, and Islam.
It started some time ago - with Yasser Arafat and his hijacking of planes and slaughering of Olympic athletes in the 60s and 70s as "resistance to the Zionist occupier"...
It wasn't Jews hijacking planes, it wasnt' the Baptists, or the secularists (though a few commies and anarchists and radical Christians took a page out of Arafat's play book and went along for the ride for a time...) It wasn't WE at that time who collectively posed a threat against ourselves -- it was then, as it is today -- THE MUSLIMS who pose the threats.
So we continue to fly, and also, after all these years of lessons and hints about the nature of Islam and the Muslims, we continue to fly and continue to let Muslims live amongst us.
We hassled ourselves by taking the most absurd measures to "secure" ourselves as passengers -- we now regularly and without outrage subject ourselves to X-ray screening machines, to invasive odious "random" body searches, to invasions of our things, as if WE were the ones who posed the danger to ourselves.
Think about it. We have come to accept this all, as if it's necessary. As if there's no choice in the matter -- as if we must submit! And that is what Islam is all about. Making us submit through a thousand little cuts, or well placed videotaped beheadings, or large scale terror theatre which venues like the World Trade Center and Bali and Beslan and the London Tube provide. Great theater. Muslim theater. The theater of Holy Islamic Terror.
How bizarre that we allow it all to continue! That while the Muslims show every sign they intend to continue subverting until our laws and societies are utterly undermined and replaced with their heinous malfunctioning dystopia of Islam -- how bizarre it is that we continue to accommodate them, make them feel "at home", and subject ourselves to the intrusions and insults that are primarily a result of their ongoing menacing of us, of their ongoing unmolested residence here, of their ongoing unimpeded practice of Islam!
So maybe it's really not that amazing. Maybe it should be no surprise that those 3,000 troops are needed to protect those innocent Buddhist Thai children. For we "non-believers" in the hideous nightmare of Islam have a habit of making countless accommodations in order for the Muslims to live amongst us... We have forced these insults and oppressions onto ourselves, freely -- in order to make Muslims feel more secure, while they, on the other hand, set about our destruction, and the murder of our children.
Who is doing the interesting, important work on the ground in Thailand to raise awareness of the issues and provide support to the victims of jihadi terror? We need to help these people. Not just point fingers to places where shit happens and get smug about being right that there is a jihadi war going on. We need to think about next steps and doing the minimum that we can do with limited resources. Is anyone aware of any groups doing stuff on the ground in Thailand? Aware of any blogs, websites providing ideological and informational support to these groups?
Considering what 3000 police officers cost in not being able to police people in any form, it would be much more cost conscience and effective to simply RFID tag all the people of the region.
Americans have driver's license so have Thai's wear a card around their neck with a radio frequency to identify them and make it a 5 year prison offense for not wearing it.
By this method everyone is tracked, including terrorists and patterns of association are recorded and in 6 months the problem is cleaned up because when the terrorists refuse tags they are apprehended before they can act.
The same type of curfew radio frequency tag would help Iraq, the Judeans and Afhganistan keep the peace.
In 2 years they could take the curfew tags off and then they like all western societies would be the same old murderous, stealing peoples as all cultures are in their base forms.

Hey, in the meantime, send the Thai Minister of Education a copy of the English edition.
The Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern 'fronts' against jihad need to unite and pool information.
Today - as was not the case in the 7th through 18th and 19th centuries - we can communicate with, instruct each other. We can share our common histories of the fight against the jihadist death-eaters, beheaders, desert-makers. We can tell each other what worked - the victories as well as the defeats. Sons of Sikhs, sons of Franks and sons of Abyssinians need to hear of each other's fathers' heroism.
What didn't happen in the middle ages - that alliance of non-Muslim eastern peoples with the Westerners - might save the world, this time around. We need to hear the story of Rabban Sawma, and what might have been.
