Bourke in her outrageously offensive un-Islamic outfit
Sharia Alert from...Australia: "Dress 'offensive' to Islam," by Ellen Connolly in The Sunday Telegraph, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
THIS is the outfit that has been labelled "offensive" and "disrespectful" to the Muslim community.Twenty-three-year-old journalist Latika Bourke was verbally attacked bya group of Muslim men outside a Sydney mosque because of her dress.
"This young man approached me and said: 'You should be wearing more clothes. You need to cover up, you mutt','' Ms Bourke, who works for 2UE Radio, recounted.
Ms Bourke, who was wearing a black trenchcoat, knee-high boots and gloves, said she was shocked and humiliated....
Ms Bourke was waiting to interview controversial mufti Sheik Taj Eldeen Alhilaly at Lakemba mosque when a man aged about 20 confronted her.
Yes, the uncovered meat sheikh.
His friends stood nearby, supporting him, as he verbally attacked her."He said: Are you aware that this is our Friday prayers? Do you know you're disrespecting our religion.''
Ms Bourke said she replied: "I'm sorry, how?'' He then advised her to cover up and called her "a mutt''.
Ms Bourke, a Christian, said she was very conscious of the need to respect other people's religions.
"I knew it was important to cover up when you go to a mosque and that's why I wore a long coat and gloves...."
I think it was the color purple. I mean, it was the purple gloves that Ms. Bouke was wearing before the interview. In the weird world of Saudi Arabia, colors such as red, orange and purple are frowned upon because they cause men to think, well you know, what Muslim men are always thinking. I am sure that the Muslim men in Australia are tempted to sin by the same colors. The Muslims always claim that their religion is so simple as compared with other world religions. I think not...not if one starts to take seriously all of the rules concerning bathroom behavior, the right conditions for honor killings, religiously correct colors, etc.
Assalamau Laikum all,
I think Latika is a very shrewd operator. She know exactly what kind of reception she was going to get...I mean it makes for good story.
She wore the gloves so as not to have muslim hand contact.
Ofcourse you peoples jump on it like a rash...you are being played...just like the imam....how is this building bridges...or good for integration.
I agree that she not too badly dressed ...but let's get to the meat & bones....What pissed the imam/students off is the lack of cover of the hair....Lakita is not stupid...she done it deliberately.
Let this one ride ....there's nothing going on here!
Mermaid Statue Draped in Muslim Dress
May 20 10:28 PM US/Eastern
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) - The Little Mermaid statue in Denmark's capital was found draped in a Muslim dress and head scarf Sunday morning. Police removed the clothing after a telephone caller reported it, spokesman Jorgen Thomsen said.
The statue sculpted in tribute to author Hans Christian Andersen draws about 1 million visitors a year and is targeted occasionally by vandals. On Tuesday, the statue's face, left arm and lap were found doused with red paint.
In 2004, someone put a burqa, the head-to-toe Islamic robe, on the statue, along with a sign questioning Turkey's bid to join the European Union.
The bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen has sat on a rock in Copenhagen harbor since 1913.

Nasseem
The reporter is in Australia - last I knew, it was not necessary to wear a headscarf there. why should she have? Just to appease a bunch of brain-dead paedopile worshippers?
Wow. They called her a mutt? That's pretty nasty. But not nasty enough.
She should have pushed further. It's very easy to get the muslim to act violently. A few more minutes and Latika Bourke would have been on the receiving side of some "peace". Now that would have made a good story.
"Uncovered Meat Receives Peaceful Message"
It is interesting that simply allowing muslims to behave as muslims always leads to violence.
The Muslims actions clearly show they intend to force their way upon the Non Muslims...They were about 10 seconds away from physical violence...as usual the Muslims have other Muslims nearby to join in any assault perpertrated by the Muslim...I have seen film clips of Muslims assaults...An innocent passerby walking alone on a sidewalk is assaulted by one Muslim and almost immediately Muslims come from every to join in the assault....The passerbys crime?...being Non Muslim and just being there....
...you do not want these people in your neighborhood...ban Muslim immigration...
Absolute crap!!! I would have told him to fook off in no uncertain terms. Who the hell do these people think they are? they can shove islam and the tossbag mohammed right up their dirty stinking backsides!!!
I'm fed up of this total shat by these people of this so called "religion".
Hi, guys. I went to the original article and looked at their talkback section. The following was posted by a self-identified Muslim. What do you think?
After reading this article in the paper and looking at the picture of young Latika I was shocked at the comments of my fellow muslims. This just typifies the attitude of these so called "devout muslims" and justifies the general consensus in society about Islam and it's followers, particularly in Sydney. First of all, the attire she was wearing was perfectly fine...even for a muslim girl. She was dressed modestly and did not show any disrespect at all. Secondly, she doesn't have to intentionally dress in a fashion she wouldn't normally just because she is interviewing a controversial Sheik at his mosque on a religious day. It angers me that if a woman is wearing clothing that is seen immodest in the eyes of un-assimilating hardline muslims, why should she cop so much abuse? I'd like to know what would have happened if she turned up in a singlet top and short skirt. These foul mouthed disrespectful pigs have no right at all to say anything to her regardless of what she was wearing. She is a woman and shouldn't feel unsafe anywhere in this country. I'm genuinely frustrated at the actions of middle eastern muslims in society and at times feel ashamed to call myself a musilm alongside these types of people. Sheik Taj Alhilaly's daughter Asma married a white Australian boy and that in it's self is contradictory considering the thousands of muslim men she could have married and although Amsa wear's a hijab some of the clothing and make up she wears is against the rules of women donning the hijab. They should be modestly dressed head to toe, not wear tight pants and tops with a hijab on their heads. I think these muslim men should take a good look at themselves and begin to respect people especially women. Maybe they should take a look in their own backyard because if you go to a Westfield Shoppingtown in western Sydney and night clubs and bars, you will see muslim women who are likely sisters and relatives and friends of these very same men there. I'm at wits end in terms of tolerance for these pitiful people who don't deserve to be followers of Islam. At the end of the day, no matter what religion you are, you must be respectful and decent as a person, surely thats most important. On that basis, calling an innocent girl a "mutt" for showing a small part of her knees surely should damn you to the fires of hell.

Naseem your comments never cease to amaze. From your comical paranoid suggestion that the Mandeans should live in Montana, (this from a group of people who claim that we should not "fear" a religion that only occasional stones women), to the suggestion that a bunch of Islamoassholes called a beautiful woman a "mutt". Your men are showing us why Islam is the most murderously sexist religion in the world. You can tell how much woman hating is allowed in a culture by what the men say and do. Your crowds of men gather far to often to sling proverbial and real stones at women for me to believe that its nothing. Or that Religion is a good excuse.
We understand that "you think" the journalist is a shrewd operator but we won't know will we. More willing to shade her character then the men calling names huh.
You can always depend on muslim women to make excuses for their men's criminality I see. Keep up the good work. You excuses for your fellow religious idiots are rejected. Your religion should be criminalized in Western civilization. We don't except your oppression and abuse because you have a religious excuse.
Naseem
how is this building bridges...or good for integration.
Please tell us your idea of integration. Obviously it does not consist of Muslim men accepting that they're in a secular Western country where there are no Islamic dress codes. Perhaps you meant that infidels should integrate into Islamic culture?
From Surak's citation of Harris Khan above:
HarrisThat's a good first step. The next is the follow through. Switch out of Islam - to anything - Atheism, Christianity, Judaism, whatever... and change your identity (drop the 'Khan') as well, and then, if necessary, move to another city where nobody knows you and start afresh. There is no reason for you to shoulder the embarrassment of sharing the same 'religion' with these thugs: jettison it, and leave it to them. You are too good to be a Mohammedan.
Maryrose, I think you've nailed it. The color purple, When the prims see it, their first thought is that of a baboon's rump. Their subsequent thought process cannot be detailed here as there may be chlidren on the board. But suffice to say, their loins start a tingling. lol.
Naseem, thanks for the idea of using anti muslim hand contact apparal. I shall invest in a pair of pig skinned gloves to ward off the dawa hunting loons. Thanks again mate!
"What do you think?"
....what Muslims say and what they practice are seldom aligned....
The Muslim pick-up lines need a lot of work.
I guess having a slave-holding pedophile warlord for a model and suffering arranged marriages as the norm has atrophied these Mohammedan geeks' normal masculine instincts to defend a young lady and be chivalrous.
ISLAM: HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS AND ALIENATE PEOPLE.
Here's an idea for antidhimmis in Australia (or the US, Canada, and Europe). Put a group of attractive models in the back of a pickup truck wearing trenchcoats. Then drive slowly in front of the busiests mosques before and after Friday prayers. As they pass the mosque, the models shout "no burkas for us" and remove the coats to reveal bikinis and thongs.
Since they're on a public road and bikinis are NOT considered indecent in Australia, no laws are broken.
Provoslavni-
I think your sublime suggestion neeeds to become a worldwide movement!
Bikinis Against Burkas!
At least it'll get the attention of the otherwise oblivious media.
There was going to be a 'bikini march' in Melbourne Australia some time ago protesting the sordid comments of the much loathed cat meat sheik of shreik but, it was called off...
I hope this female journalist comes out punching about this incident but, I doubt it...
Naseem,
you said: "....how is this building bridges...or good for integration. "
What makes you think we want to build bridges with or integrate Islamic culure? What has Islam done for the West besides make endless demands and whine (Oh, and I almost forgot, be the vortex of terror in this world)?
This is our country with our culture. Love it or leave it.
"She wore the gloves so as not to have muslim hand contact."
Naseem,
Is that why women in Saudi Arabia wear gloves?
Why did a female Islamic cop in Britain (I think) recently refused to shake hands with an coworker saying that it is not allowed by her religion? If Muslims are going to say something like that, why would non-Muslims be blamed for believing them?
Oh my! She disrespected their cult!
Called her a mutt?
Well, if things transpire as they do in islamofascistland, they'll have to "punish" her with rape...uncovered meat, my @$$!

I have known a few Muslim men who are very like Harris Khan. These are the ones who have managed to assimilate into the Australian culture. However, they have maintained some disturbing habits. I have to commend Mr. Khan for the way in which he has come out in defence of young Latika who is in fact very modestly dressed. I have friends who have commented about the manner in which some women who have taken to wearing the hijab as a means of showing themselves to be superior to the rest of us, are wearing extremely tight jeans that show off more than they hide.
There are some Indian Muslim men who are only Muslim because their families were forced to convert by the baboons who stole their lands from them. I suspect that Mr. Khan, who is very articulate, is very much like the Muslim I met last year - his family were forced to convert from being Hindu. These are people who do not aspire to violent jihad, neither do they subscribe to the thoughts of meat head al hilaly - that man really gets me with his comments, especially the one about being more Australian than the rest of us (what bunk)

....and just what is it about hair that terrifies Muslims so much?.....
Naseem,
If Muslims do not like how women dress in Australia,
then why don't they leave? Australia is not their country. If Muslims are offended at any culture other than their own, there is the door! Naseem, you tell me... What makes Muslims so different? Why do you feel they need special treatment? Australia does not owe Muslims anything! Not even welfare or "the dole" many there receive. My solution? Deport! Deport! Deport! Close all immigration to all Muslim countries including yours...
BTW Naseem, you would make a very good Nazi. Zeig heil! How do you say that in Arabic? LOL
Ahhh, yes. Those jolly muslims. Making friends wherever they go.

The answer to your question is: "Allahu Akhbar!"
To provoslavni, profitsbeard and elolvsdiablo - speaking as a woman, I like that - bikinis against burkas (great t-shirt slogan). Only since Muslims get all het up about male modesty as well, the ladies in such a demo should have backup - magnificent male muscle in speedos (skimpy male swimtogs). Preferably both ladies and gentlemen would be people with serious martial arts training, to deal with any would-be modesty police.
And - elolvsdiablo - is that true? That someone (who?) really was thinking of getting up a 'bikini march' in Melbourne to protest Sheikh Catmeat? Because the moment I heard the reports of Hilaly's stupid sermon, that was the first thing I thought of - that we needed a massive 'modesty march' to demonstrate exactly what is considered appropriate clothing for women in public in Australia (depending, of course, on context). I wouldn't have confined it to bikinis - how about miniskirts and stilettos? Evening gowns? Off-the-shoulder wedding gowns? Leotards? Ballet tutus? Cheong sam (Chinese Australian). Traditional native Australian, as seen at the Olympics Opening Ceremony - bare breasts and ochre; Torres Strait Islander grass skirts. Sari (Hindu Indo-Australian). Bluejeans. Shorts, t-shirt and sandals. Jodhpurs and riding boots. The local Irish dancing, flamenca and salsa schools in full costume. The whole dazzling variety of dress by which the glory of the female form is displayed and celebrated IN PUBLIC in non-Muslim cultures around the world.
Actually, I think Taj Eldeen Alhilaly's comment about cats and meat was very demeaning to men. He's implying that Muslim men can't control their impulses.
But then, maybe he knows Muslim men better than I.
'....and just what is it about hair that terrifies Muslims so much?.....'
Those crazy, crazy rays.
