The Egyptian militant who leads the group he calls "Al Qaeda in Egypt" has called for his followers to launch attacks in Egypt to "strike against all Zionist-Crusader targets" there, including women and children.The statement of Mohammed Khalil al Hakayma, who is wanted by the United States, is dated yesterday and has been posted on numerous jihadi Web sites.
"Rise up and pluck out the Zionist presence in Egypt," he says. "Rise up and inflame a war on them everywhere. Do not differentiate between a military and a civilian person. As they struck against our women and children, we will kill their women and children."
This idea of tit-for-tat retaliation is based on Qur'an 42:40: "The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree)..." (See also 2:178 and 5:45).
Since al-Qaeda is going against the tenets of Islam, doesn't that label them as Kafir? Where is the outrage?
This past Friday we witnessed worldwide protests against Salman Rushdie, yet stuff like this goes unchallenged by, "moderate" Muslims...

At the time of 9/11 there were approximately 70,000 jailed Islamic extremists, Ikhwan members etc. in Egyptian jails. After six years of Bush pushing for democracy and 'nice' the prisons of Egypt are empty, the terrorists organized at all levels of Egypt's society and Mubarak by necessity utterly complicit with them.

al Qaeda in Egypt? Is that any different from Ikhwan al Muslimiya, or is it just a case of some of the same jihadis assuming a new identity?

The statement of the loser in this article can only prove the cowardice and weakness of mind body and spirit of islam.It can offer nothing so it wins over with force and that force is even targeted at the weakest and most vulnerable.Full blown cowards.
