At least two women appear to have refused to be hijabbed. Why could not those in front have also refused? That is why, at times, what one would do out of politeness must not be done, because it will be lead to a swelling of Muslim triumphalism, a belief that "time is on the side" of "the world's fastest-growing religion." Nothing should be done by government officials to promote, even inadvertently, such a view.
How many recall today the story of Macartney's Embbasy and the Kowtow? I find it interesting to note that the only woman I can see in the picture who is not wearing the hijab is african american. Maybe because she understands the horrible institution of slavery and refuses to to go there even for appearance sake.

I only learned about the Holocaust after watching The World at War, a series that was first shown on TV in 1973 when I was 12 years old. We studied the Crusades at school, but was never informed that they were defensive battles which slowed down the Jihad against Europe by almost 200 years. Only later, around 25 years ago, did I first come across the fall of Constantinople, the sea battle of Lepanto, the Siege and battle of Vienna, the Reconquista etc. When I was 10 years old, I received a book which made it appear as if the Barbary Pirates were carrying out a Boys Own fantasy, rather than kidnapping and enslaving Europeans, from ships and even from their own beds in their villages as far north as Iceland over a period of more than 200 years. It didn't even point out the fact that the Barbary Pirates were Muslims. Reading all of this made me ask myself "Why did it take us so long to do something about it?" Years later, I would know why. And my education as regards Islam started in 1997 - the Luxor Massacre. That is when I realised that Islam is truly evil, and this education has continued ever since, becoming aware that killing is ordained in the teachings of the Koran, Sira and hadith, and becoming aware of what happened in India, and that the killings there being far worse than what happened in Europe. So 270 - 300 million infidel murders later, even after 911, Bali, Beslan, Madrid, London etc, plus 9,000 trerrorist atrocities carried out in the name of Islam since 911, not to mention this morning's atttempt to create carnage on a scale reminiscent of being hit by a V2 rocket in London, there is still an overabundance of fools who still preach the religion of peace mantra as regards Islam, and continue to brand as racists and bigots anyone who dares expose Islam's bloodthirsty past, present, and future.
Why won't they wear crosses to represent where their nations and faith come from as a basis of tolerance and freedom? Jesus is the world’s best example of intolerance against his words and against freedom and love for people.
