Fighting spreads outside of Lebanon refugee camp

“The clashes mark a shift in fighting away from the nearby Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp.”

“Lebanon Islamist clashes spread,” from the BBC:

At least 10 people have been killed in fighting between Lebanese troops and
suspected Islamic militants in the northern city of Tripoli.

Two civilians, one soldier, a policeman and at least six Islamist gunmen are said to have been killed in the fight.

It came after the army raided an apartment of a suspected militant in the Abu Samra district on Saturday.

The clashes mark a shift in fighting away from the nearby Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp.

The latest violence began when gunmen fired at soldiers who were trying to raid their apartment, the Reuters news agency reported.

The army responded with an attack, blocking off the area and bringing in reinforcements. At least twelve people were wounded in the stand-off.

Is it just me or is Islam either coming apart at the seems or in a state of violent conquest that hasn’t happened in centuries?

    It seems to be exploding

You have to admit it was a ‘good’ shot by the Islamists. The Spaniards have already shown their lack of will to fight in Iraq, dont expect any different here.

Also I can just see the Leftards in Spain scratching their collective head over this, after all they did what the Islamists wanted by pulling out of Iraq.

Moblow, all thanks to muslims like the saudis who fund the terrorist training camps, and fuel the hatred with our money. Oh, but they say they do not while sending their money to countries like Pakistan where the training goes on. Then there is Syria and Iran – all playing a part in this also.

But, Lebanon has been a pit of radialism for awhile now. After the cease fire last year all the muslims have been doing is restocking their weapons. That is what muslims do in ceasefires. When they are outnumbered and it doesn’t look good they will call for ‘peace’, or a cease fire. Then they restock, retrain, etc and then they will start their fighting again – read the koran and hadiths – the big MO tells them to do that.

A peace agreement, according to MO, should not last longer than 10 years and can be broken at any time when the muslims feel they can start waging jihad again.

Spawn of the Koran, a death cult manual of violence, intolerance and world domination.

If they didn’t act this way, they’d be un-Islamic.

Surprise, surprise…the ROP trying to establish it’s ideology through the usual, tried and true methods.

And so the ‘Paris of The Middle East’ descends further on it’s way to being the Gaza of the Levant; as Syria dances – with Iran’s hand up its ass..

I was just at a Roger Waters concert the other day. It was an excellent show with DSOTM and songs from WYWH and some other popular Pink Floyd songs. I was a little outraged that it turned to a political rally. I paid $99 to see the show and not to attend a political rally. He blames the Christian right and Bush for the evils of this world. No kidding! He does! It was written flat on the screen when he did the song “Leaving Beirut”. Is is Islam who are destroying Beirut, not the Christian right Roger! Tell me Roger… was it Christian fanatics who slammed B767’s into the World Trade Center? Or Christians blowing up subway tunnels in London and Moscow? Or they killing innocent Children in Beslan? He has never once condemned suicide bombers or Muslim terrorists in any of his shows! I think Mr. Waters has become a useful idiot. I nominate him as June’s Dhimmwit of the month on TROP.

    Dear Resistance,

You shouldn’t have been at all surprised by Roger Waters. Someone played me his ‘Entertained to death’ album, and what I most remember was a song showing contempt for the God of the Bible. Also, Pink Floyd on their ‘Animals’ LP, mockingly and disdainfully twist the 32rd psalm.

You might notice too that nearly all of so-called daring, outspoken and contraversial artists don’t voice any opinions that aren’t politically correct, an exception being Roy Harper with his ‘Under the black flag of Islam’.

We’ll need new artists and younger artists to expound on the Islamic threat. Those who have had a voice prior to 9/11 will most likely not be able to adapt and see the world threat in a new way. That’s simply human nature. It would take a fierce independent streak and a first class mind for an artist of previous reputation to change post 9/11. That’s a tall order for most people, established artists not excepted.

    Elephant,

Regarding “Sheep” one of the lyrics that stand out are “what do you get for pretending the dangers not real?” Sounds to me Rog goes against his own lyrics he has penned in that song.

Yes, he mocks Psalm 23. Roger Waters is very opinionated.

Actually the name of the song is ‘The Black Cloud of Islam’ from the album ‘Once’. The album was published in 1990!
