JAFFA, Israel – Hamas members today provided WND a preliminary list of what they claimed were hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. weaponry and equipment seized during last week's coup against the U.S.-backed Fatah security organizations of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.Hamas vowed to obtain emergency U.S. aid slated for Fatah.
Last week, Hamas took complete control of all Fatah positions and U.S.-backed security compounds in the Gaza Strip, including Fatah's major Ansar complex – where American-provided weapons were delivered and stored – and Abbas' presidential guard complex.
The U.S. in recent years reportedly transferred large quantities of weaponry to build up Fatah forces against rival Hamas. Hamas officials told WND in multiple interviews they would seize the American weapons.
If the US would stop supplying them with weapons they would have LESS wepons . I know they would get them from other sources but why add fuel to the fire?
Dont arm these bastards - Fatah or Hamas.

As a printer, by trade, this whole situation is good news.
Every time these A-rabs get there asses kicked by whomever, they run out and invent a bunch of new names for their sorry-ass
(dis) organizations.
Think of all those new letterheads and envelopes and business cards.
It's stories like this that overwhelm me with the continious ignorance, and stupidity that responsible organizations make in our US Government.
Time and time again on this site we comment about how foolish the US, and the EU are in giving any support to factions in Palestine, whether it be Fatah,or Hamas.
But they keep on shooting themselves in the foot at our expence as well as Israel.
Who are these brilliant strategizing decision makers? How did they get these jobs? What experience did they bring to the table regarding the Palestinian people? Clearly so many people in our government demonstrate continious ignorance when it comes to the Islamic fundamental mindset. Do they think that the 36 articles' of the Hamas Charter is but a joke? Or have they really read it at all?
And worst of all we have a former 83 year old president, and peanut farmer making speeches in the EU saying that President Bush is a criminal for not giving the same support to Hamas as they do to fatah. I tell you; that with anymore nut cases like that and we are going to get into real trouble! Not that we already aren't.
Funny how the State Dept is actually SMARTER than Carter. But not by much.
Only thing that scares me is the "diplomacy" of the West.

You are so correct. The US government has not learned anything from backing Osma Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein in the 1980s. We armed these people in the 1980s and both these things back back to bite us. The US government is dominated by morons. It's one thing to make a mistake. It's another thing to keep repeating it.
Why not just hand the murderer the knife and say real nice: please slit my throat. Would save a lot of hassle and time.

The full auto rifles are free there and would cost you and I, once federaly permited, over $10,000 each over here! The registered auto sear would be the lions share of the total. A seven dollar part!

Memo to ALL non-Muslim arms manufacturers selling to Muslims, same to ALL non-Muslim governments supplying weapons - please, in God's name, for the sake of your grandchildren, SELL THE MUSLIMS DUDS. Not outright duds - sell them something that will work for a little while (so they don't realize it's a dud). But something that has something ever so subtly wrong with it, something that won't last, something that can't be easily spotted nor fixed in the field. And then, when they least expect it, in the middle of a battle with our people, whether in Chechnya or Iraq or wherever, the thing just goes - phut! Or, conversely, boom, right in their faces!
A few embedded satellite tracking devices built into some of the larger items of hardware might come in handy, too.
