In Indonesia, the captured Jemaah Islamiya leader Abu Dujana says he will not give up his commitment to "jihad" despite his recent arrest.Our Indonesia correspondent Geoff Thompson reports from Jakarta that in a new interview with Indonesia's ANTV Abu Dujana said that "jihad" is a war and that long ago when he was fighting in Afghanistan against Soviet forces he met Osama Bin Laden.
Abu Dujana said he became involved in the conflict in Poso in Central Sulawesi to defend and uphold the dignity of Muslims.
He went on to say that despite being caught by police, his commitment to jihad was undiminished.
If the only good jihadi is a dead one, then the only good muslim is the one temporarily on one's side.
The vicious disease that is islam.
What a pity that millions are born into this evil ideology that ranges from the apathy of surrender to the murder of unbelievers.

it [unless preferring boys] may rape the whore and leave her DEAD on the side of the road for she is now not only unveiled but IMPURE.
For the more discriminating Jihadi,all the refinements of severe TORTURE may be practised
with impunity upon any SINNERS they catch which
include Non Muslims as well as Muslims who are not Muslim enough.
A true Jihadi though is armed with a shiny Beheading knife in addition to an AK47 & Rocket
Launcher. And a video camera of course to record

Hmmmmm spot on question, there aren't any moderate muslims are there!!
...do you have the lack of desire to think independently, do you lack the desire to work hard and to earn money honestly, are you unable to get a girlfriend by demonstrating some desirable traits that a woman finds attractive, do you abhor law and order, do you find that education is boring and that you have nothing to gain by staying in school, do you feel all your problems are caused by some other groups of people (i.e. the Jews, Whitey, the IRS, the Police, or the Moral Majority), do you feel hemmed in by civil law, do you feel the urge to control others, making them get on their knees and plead for mercy, do you feel trapped in a society that rewards those who have the ability to invent something , run businesses earning millions of dollars, or have the brains to discover cures for diseases while you feel you are punished by the lack of getting the breaks that seem to befall the others, do you feel discouraged because other people like to be clean and clean shaven, while you prefer to be unkempt and you love beards and weird clothes, do you feel anger towards those who have the nice car or nice home, do you feel angred because other people have kind friends who may just go to a church or a synagogue, do you feel others are supposed to give you a job, give you money, or give you anything you desire just because you feel you deserve it....Well, you can convert to Islam, they authorize you to take whatever you want from those you despise, you can take their money, their property, their women, all you have to do is give up your will to succeed on your own and to bow down to Islam....what a deal....Islam is for losers...
Islamists usually say what they mean and mean what they say. The problem is it seems no one in law enforcement is listening.
Agreed with EliasAlucard, there seems to be an epidemic of Islamic misunderstanders, met with the usual chorus of crickets from the pool of those who should correct them.
"Jihad" is silly putty to the apologists.
It can take any form, depending on who your are trying to delude.
As "Islam" means "peace" (not).
And as "jihad" can mean "my struggle" (which, in German becomes "Mein Kampf", curiously enough).
"By their fruits, ye shall know them." is a btter gauge.

Re. Jim Sutter, a Christian man of the cloth who is not concerned with spreading the good word of Christ, but rather trying to convince the rest of us infidels that Muslim moderate voices do condemn Islamic violence and that we should cease the exploration of Islam itself.

If you actually read the "condemnations of terrorism" that you showcase at your site, they don't condemn the idea of jihad warfare. They just say it is a defensive war to establish justice -- which from the point of view of traditional Islamic law means to a war to establish Sharia, and thus to subjugate non-Muslims.
It is also noteworthy that so much of what you tout as condemnations of terrorism comes from the Council on American Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism funding case.
One wonders why you do not see that as calling any of their fine words into question.

"Reverend" Jim Sutter is unlikely to be in any genuine sense a "Christian man of the cloth." He is in reality a mendacious poseur who has claimed to be an ordained Catholic minister, "higher than a Deacon, but slightly lower than a priest" -- a position that does not exist. There are three levels of the ordained ministry in the Catholic Church: deacons, priests, and bishops, with nothing in between.

There is much more about this unsavory character that will come out in due time. Of course, his unsavoriness doesn't mean that what he is saying is false. That is demonstrable on numerous other grounds, as I have explained in many examinations over the years here of the condemnations of terrorism that he touts. But it does give us some indication of the quality of the judgments he offers.
